My daughter loved Maria's handwriting workshop. Maria has a very clear way of explaining that is easily understood and engages the children.

Maria has been brilliant with my son, she is so patient and my son looks forward to his lessons.

Maria has tutored my girls through both the 7 and 11+ entrance examinations. She is a sensational teacher with that rare mix of being able to talk to both students and parents with the same degree of respect and engagement. Her lessons are well structured and focused yet fun, which has really helped build my girls confidence in tackling their work. She is very passionate about her job, which really comes across in her connection with her students – my girls look forward to seeing her, knuckling down to their lessons with enthusiasm and a smile. She is informative and teaches ‘why’ as well as ‘how’ to get results.
 
Sóla (aged 8): Maria helped me with my 7+ exam. She was kind and calm and explained things in a really easy way. I love my lessons with her.
 
Elva (aged 10): Maria makes it very easy to ask her anything. When I was practising for my 11+ I wrote a list of all the things I needed a bit of help with, and we went through everything in great detail, it was brilliant.

We were living in London for a few years and I was looking for tutoring for my 6year old son. We wished for him to go to an international school and wanted him to be prepared. Maria was very supportive and had a lovely rapport with our son. He enjoyed her lessons and looked forward to them. He particularly struggled with comprehension and Maria was able to fully support him and improve his ability to answer questions. Thank you for your support. Our son was successful with his exam and was offered a place at our first school of choice. We have since continued with online tuition as we now live abroad.

Maria was very supportive. I loved going to meet her every Sunday because I liked the way she taught me. I learned many new things. Maths and Non-Verbal were my favourite subjects. Comprehension was quite tough.
Maria’s teaching helped me do extremely well in class and I got loads of Achievement marks.
When i visited schools like NLCS and Haberdashers, I was very excited. I wanted to do well to get in. Maria did lots of practice tests to prepare me mentally and make sure I was not surprised or scared on the exam day.
I enjoyed the assessment days at both schools. I would strongly recommend Maria’s teaching.

I really wanted to go to Haberdashers Askes School for Boys so my parents asked Maria to help me.
I enjoyed going to meet her for my lesson as she was fun and patient. Though Maria was strict when she needed to be.
We studied Maths, English, Verbal and Non-Verbal. The subject I liked most was non-verbal. The toughest subject for me was Comprehension. Maria’s teaching helped me get stronger at it. I noticed her teaching was also helping me do well in class. That motivated me to study harder and achieve my goal. She did many practice tests with me to help me understand what to expect so I was not surprised when I went for the exam.
When the results came I found out I had been successful in both the schools I tried for. I would definitely recommend her teaching.

Maria is an amazing tutor. She makes learning English and Maths fun with my 7 year old. My daughter looks forward to her lesson’s with Maria and gets more in an hour than a day at school! I would highly recommend Maria!

Maria is an excellent practitioner and wonderful with children!

Both Kelly and Maria were wonderful. Our son enjoyed his lessons with them. They set up a very focused 7 plus training program for him, and also gave us guidance on how and what to work on. They also guided us on how to keep him in a positive frame of mind as he went through the study process. Our son also got into both his target schools thanks to their help.
