I’m sure Beatriz she did her very best. With a very professional and friendly attitude she has been proactive in terms of solving my issue but even if I wrote my first mail seconds after a received the order confirmation realising I ordered the wrong size asking to modify or cancel my order, they were not able to do it. She assured me that I could refuse the delivery or just return it to them. As I’m on a trip out of Europe and didn’t want to charge my concierge with this issue, I asked him to refuse the parcel sending it back to DVN. I want to put this very clear, as I said Beatriz did her best, I don’t know how DVN customer service and logistics are structured but from this experience I assume they are not physically in the same place and probably not enough to handle the many requests they receive in a more quick and effective way in order not to waste their precious time on something that could have been better managed and that could have reduced costs and could have been more carbon conscious.

I purchased the discovery set from this company. Product nice. On this purchase it stated if you buy a full perfume, there would be discount of price of discovery set. I tried to recall this without success. I have emailed company numerous times. Receiving responses without any recourse! Looks high end company with quality products. Falls down with customer service. So be warned it’s absolutely dreadful.

I’m Belgian, and I’ve always deeply respected Dries Van Noten. I genuinely fell in love with your perfume collection. I received the discovery set for Christmas, with a code meant to let me order my chosen fragrance.
The code doesn’t work.
Since December 24th, the person who gifted it has been writing, re-writing, sending screenshots. Today is January 7th. Still no solution. Just back and forth. It’s exhausting, and honestly, very sad.
My excitement is gone. I’m no longer sure I even want to buy the perfume — which says a lot.
For a luxury house, customer satisfaction matters. If I don’t hear back very quickly, with a working code and a clear commercial gesture, this review will remain very negative.

Unfortunately, this response illustrates exactly the issue raised in my review: a generic public statement disconnected from the reality of the case.
I have already been in continuous contact with your customer service since December 24th, 2025. All requested documents have been provided multiple times. Your team has confirmed in writing, repeatedly, that the gift code was valid and applicable — yet it has never functioned.
Over several weeks, the case has gone in circles: repeated requests for the same proofs, no operational solution, no effective escalation, and no empowered contact able to resolve the issue. I was even explicitly told that phone contact was useless, while no alternative competent channel was actually provided.
This is why, today, after weeks of inaction despite written confirmations on your side, I formally sent a legal notice (mise en demeure). Not as a first step but as a last attempt at amicable resolution.
Saying publicly that “customer satisfaction is extremely important” while failing to deliver a concrete solution over such a long period does not align with the reality of this experience.

After receiving an order that didn’t meet my expectations — including one product with a manufacturing defect (it happens) I initially received a partial refund, which left me quite unpleasantly surprised.
