FonQ is a scam. We ordered chairs, and we received them one set early and the other set a month later with very little communication. Then, when we try to communicate with FonQ, it's always a problem; emails are sent back without addressing the issue or answering the question. And the final scam was when we returned the chairs and were supposed to get our money back in 14 days, but it never happened. This company is a scam, with no interest in being reliable to customers.

FonQ continues its scams and deceitfulness. Order has not arrived since November and FonQ has not responded to a single email asking for a refund in the past month. Now they lie and claim they dispatched the order while the delivery company denies ever receiving the parcel. And FonQ makes a joke our of their customers by then sending an email with their “best wishes” for their furniture. Do not even consider buying from this company.

I ordered a bookcase, received a carpet. Contacted customer service: acknowledgement on their side that something went wrong (duh!) and a refund, but I have to order the bookcase again. It has been almost 2 weeks: no refund so far, complete radio silence from customer service despite reminder.

SCAM! FRAUD!
We have ordered 2 nightstands and a bed from Naduvi through FonQ, nightstands came incomplete, they literally sent us only the metal table legs with no box 🤯 After multiple calls and contact forms still no reply.
And the bed has not arrived at all, it’s been 6 weeks and it’s not even shipped.
No money and no furniture, it’s a SCAM company! Avoid at any means!

On November 4, I placed an order for two products, worth about 2000 EUR.
The order was paid immediately.
When the promised delivery deadline passed and I received no information, I contacted the company to ask about my order.
They replied that the first item had arrived to them, but they were still waiting for the second item and wanted to ship everything together.
I asked them to send the first item separately.
The first item was handed over to the delivery company.
After three unsuccessful delivery attempts, the courier returned the item to the seller.
The delivery company never contacted me, I was proactive, but they refused to help.
Later, they uploaded false delivery location photos, even though they never came to my address on the delivery days.
I asked the furniture store to resend the returned item with the next delivery, which should have already arrived by then.
The store said this was not possible. Nothing happened.
In my online account, the order status shows “completed”, even though I received nothing.
In response to one of my complaint emails, they said they would investigate the issue.
My next complaint email was ignored, and I could not reach them anymore.
It is almost February now. They have had my money since November 4, and I have no information about my ordered products.

We made an order for black friday. They told us the chairs would be delivered in the second week of January. We still do not have the order and no updates. Their customer service is very bad, it is impossible to reach them on the phone or via chat. We tried multiple days and no agents are available - they are only reachable from 10-13:00 and the chatbot always says they will send us an e-mail. Weirdly enough, the chairs are back on the website for ordering with a delivery time of 2-5 days. When I asked to cancel the order when testing desperately to manage to reach an actual human than the AI, I suddenly got a response within 20 minutes that my order is cancelled. Afterwards, we responded and again no contact. Weirdly enough it does not even say that the order is cancelled in our account or anything. We have really lost our patience and feel like we are getting scammed. Just hope we manage to get the items we ordered or our money back. I do not trust this brand at all, never again.

I have contacted FonQ several times now via chat and email and received only automated responses. I ordered 4 chairs from them and after putting all of them together, a leg on one of the chairs bent and the chair collapsed under me while I was sitting in it the next day. Now they expect me to disassemble all 4 chairs, put them in a box and take them to Postnl to return them. They are defective meaning they could hurt someone else if they resell them and my back is in pain from the fall making this request impossible. They will not respond to my request for a refund and to send someone to pick them up. I also experienced significant delays with my orders that were advertised to arrive quickly. Most items arrived over a week late and some were rescheduled several times. Some items I ordered still haven’t arrived though all was advertised to be delivered by a week ago at the latest. Another item I ordered - a coffee table arrived with the box full of dirt and a huge scratch on it.

Update: Still a disaster.
Fonq.com finally sent the order label — but the incompetence continues.
Even after all this time, customer service kept calling us to ask which parts needed to be sent. This question was asked three separate times. Having to repeat the same information over and over again clearly shows that no one is taking proper notes or responsibility.
After the last call, we were told everything was finally clear and that the parts would be sent. We were relieved and thought the nightmare was over.
One full week has passed since then. No delivery. No update. No email. Nothing.
So even now, after weeks of complaints, labels, calls, and explanations, nothing has actually been resolved.
This is not just slow service — this is systematic negligence and complete lack of professionalism.
Fonq.com has proven again and again that they do not care about solving customer problems.
Avoid this company unless you enjoy wasting your time and patience.

The worst experience I have ever had with an online retailer. I recommend you stay away and save yourself the money and frustration. Placed an order 29th of December, supposedly the order has shipped and will be delivered by GLS. And herein lies the issue. GLS claims they attempted delivery on the
8th of January and didn’t meet me at home. Which is a boldface lie. I was at home all day doing renovations at my new home. Also no note in the letterbox also proof of the lies by
GLS. Since this first attempt GLS keeps postponing delivery and my package has still not been delivered. I contact FONQ to sort this out or reimburse the payment as I paid for an item and have yet to receive it. In fact it seems I will never receive my order. Instead of claiming responsibility, reaching out to whoever is responsible for making sure I receive my order. FONQ place’s responsibility on me to reach out to their sales partner to get things sorted out myself. This is the most impossible task it seems as their sales partner barely responds to any of my inquiries. I received 1 response to inform me that GLS will deliver on the 13th of January. Well wrong! GLS has changed that information as they have been for days now . The delivery date has once again been postponed. Also, how is it acceptable that I pay FONQ but have to contact someone else about the whereabouts of my order. Sort it out or pay me back. My patience is wearing thin. This will be the last time I order anything from this webshop. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

You keep responding to me with the same messages. According to you and sales partner Strabox, the package is still in transit. This is incorrect. I reached out to GLS myself about this and received confirmation that the whereabouts of the package is unknown. The package is lost. I sent a screenshot of the response from GLS to you sales partner Strabox. I was told there is to be an investigation. After I was attack and accused of sending too many messages. Apparently, the fact that I am out of money, haven’t received anything for it and no one is making an effort or listening is not reason enough to send messages. So which is, is it still in transit or is there going to be an investigation to locate the package. Why am I being given misleading information. Strabox has proof that the package is lost. THE PACKAGE IS LOST!!!! Check this information with GLS and stop telling untruths.

I feel completely scammed — no delivery, no refund, no answers.
I ordered from fonQ on 17 December 2025. It was meant to be a Christmas gift, but nothing arrived. After the automatic confirmation, the company went silent. As of 5 January 2026, the order still shows “confirmed” with no dates, no updates, no tracking, no replies, no refund - nothing at all, despite my several reminders. This looks and feels like fraud - they take the money and give nothing back.
Based on my experience, this is the worst online store I’ve ever dealt with in the Netherlands. I would never recommend buying from them. Behind the discounts there is irresponsibility, bad customer service, and zero respect for customers.
I’ve already filed a complaint with the Dutch consumer authority, and I hope the complaint will finally help me get a resolution.

UPDATE 12 Jan 2026:
It's been almost a month since the bed is delivered and because of their incompetence I am still sleeping on the floor. First the customer agent told me the missing pieces will be sent, after a week I learned that the agent didn't even create a shipping label which the supplier was waiting for. Then the shipping label was created on 30th of December but since then no updates. THEY ARE SCAMMERS TO THE CORE, DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT PURCHASING FROM THIS COMPANY.
I ordered a bed frame from them and it was delivered on 16th of December which I planned specifically to have a bed right after I move in to my new apartment. The bed frame has storage space and one of mechanism that is supposed hold the bed up is missing from the packages, I am calling them for the past 3 days but it either disconnects directly after automatic message or I wait 10-15 minutes and then it disconnects. I demand my missing pieces to be delivered ASAP.
