Main banking services with affordable prices

Holvi provides basic banking services to small organizations with very affordable prices. You don't have to pay much, if your operations are small. Basic invoicing is included in the package. At the same time Holvi provides interfaces to bookkeeping programs, like Procountor. I'm using Holvi both as a private entrepreneur and as a non-profit organization.

Best banking service for entrepreneurs

I'm using Holvi in Germany almost 2 years for my UG company.
Everything what is need to me is available:
- user frienly interface (DE, EN, FN)
- app
- different formats of reporting
- integration with accounting software
- e-invoicing support
- very responsive customer support
- top-level security protection with MFA
- very easy onboarding for new customer

Highly recommended for anyone who is looking reliable banking service! Good luck to Holvi team!

an unreliable partner.

I’ve been a Holvi customer for many years. As a freelancer and entrepreneur, I originally chose Holvi because it offered an all-in-one banking and accounting solution tailored to independent professionals. For a long time, it worked well — I managed five years of accounting history through their platform.
Unfortunately, over time Holvi has changed its policies and pricing again and again. Recently, they decided to stop supporting more than half of the countries they used to serve. They do not close those accounts but they are stripping features, dont include them in new releases, the server speed is down and they do not fix bugs. Prices stay the same, but the number of features and supported markets keeps shrinking.
What’s worse, Holvi’s current practices make it nearly impossible for businesses to stay compliant with EU accounting regulations. Within the EU, companies are legally required to keep financial records for at least eight years. Holvi’s recent changes put that continuity at risk.

In short, Holvi has become an unreliable partner. Their frequent policy shifts, lack of transparency, and disregard for long-time customers show a serious decline in trustworthiness. If you’re considering using Holvi — don’t. They treat their customers poorly and change direction whenever it suits their internal strategy or profit goals.
A banking license should come with responsibility. Holvi no longer acts like a reliable financial institution.

The most atrocious customer service.

The most atrocious customer service.

More than 1 week of waiting for a new Finnish company to be registered, countless messages sent to their AI chat requesting human follow up, waiting weeks for no response.

Then suddenly my login just completely stops working, and still not even one email to follow up.

I think I won't be recommending this unmanned business to anyone.

edit:

They blocked my account after I used ProtonVPN, but didn't email me to let me know, and the login screen made no mention of an issue apart from an 'authentication error, try again'.

After regaining access they asked me to supply a 25 euro DVV certificate to prove my residency, which to my mind is making a mockery of Finnish Banking Identification, I already proved my identity and all other relevant documents.

I actively hate these people, and decided to close my account.

The only positive thing is this bank is…

The only positive thing is this bank is its cheap monthly fees (well, because services are also cheap!). Be careful when you use their card in payment, they will NEVER support you if you get involved in a a dispute, where a sum of money illegally got withdrawn from your account. I am still staying with them, because I haven't found any cheaper option.

More pseudo "security" enhancements every couple of months.

Can not recommend. Every couple of months new problems with their "security" enhancements.

Let me tell it how it is: In the name of pseudo security Holvi is sacrificing both security and privacy of its users.

In our company we use GrapheneOS phones which are known to be the most secure smart phones on the market. Not with Holvi. Holvi thinks it is smarter by blocking GrapheneOS in the name of "security".

But we do not just use Graphene OS phone but other smartphones, degoogled for security and privacy reasons. With the most recent update we are now forced to install Google Playstore and login with an account we do not have, which is basically against all principals and security measures our company stands for.

Holvi is working hard at making the life of their security conscious customers insufferable.

Time to seek an alternative that understands the needs of a modern security architecture instead of implementing pseudo features that lead nowhere.

This is not the first time we encountered problems with Holvi. So far they listened and improved, but my trust in their skills is challenged each and every time.

The customer support is always on point, they've successfully helped me in a number of occasions so I'm quite satisfied with the service. Their platform is quite simple to use and they have a lot of integrated services so very helpful all around.
