Poor quality, awful service

Ordered a necklace in time for valentines. It arrived damaged. I messaged immediately, thinking I could get this sorted still in time for valentines. Filled out their issues form, attached photos etc. 3 days later still no reply, now missing any chance to get something sorted before Valentine’s Day. Posting this in the hope it might encourage them to look at my messages.Extremely poor service, avoid.

Bought a pair of Koa/Gold stencil earrings for my wifes anniversary and she absolutely loved them. Unfortunately the wood insert dropped out of one of the earrings and went missing. A Watch That Doesn't Tell Time

UPDATE: TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE buying from Holzkern. I purchased a watch from them for €200 that didn't work properly from the start. It lagged daily, making it impossible to use it for it's intended purpose. After numerous tries I finally got a response from Holzkern with information on how to send it back. Just yesterday I recieve my watch, supposedly repaired, but after one day of just letting it sit on my desk the watch quit running again. It runs on batteries. I liked the appearance of this watch very much, but I will most likely never buy a watch from Holzkern again.

Wow Quality + Zero Reaction

I ordered a ring, a necklace, and a bracelet, and honestly I’m really impressed with the quality.

I usually react to anything that’s plated (and sometimes even to lower-quality gold), so I was a bit nervous. But this time, total surprise! The ring and the necklace are 24k plated and they seem to be excellent quality. I’ve been wearing them 24/7 for two days and I’ve had absolutely no reaction: no redness, no itching. For me, that’s a huge wow.

The only downside was the bracelet. It was the only one that wasn’t plated. It was so beautiful that I tried it anyway, but unfortunately I did react. So it’ll make a great gift for my partner, who was (secretly) waiting and hoping I’d react so he could “inherit” the bracelet. 😅

Overall, the quality is there, the finish is really beautiful, and if you’re sensitive like me, the 24k plating was a great surprise.

24 month guarantee not honoured

I bought a wooden watch for my son in December 2024 (for Christmas present) which had a 24 month guarantee. Unfortunately just through daily wear the watch has split where it joins to the watch face. I have raised a service report for a defect as this area cannot be replaced with a spare link. I have been now informed I need to purchase a new watch strap ( bracelet) which they have also provided a 35% discount code. This watch had a 24 month guarantee and it is only 14 months since I purchased and i do not understand why I have to purchase a new strap when the original strap failed and obviously had a flaw, I am not sure what this guarantee covers.

Resolution to a problem

Just a thank you for resolving the issue with the watch I recieved as a gift. The resolution to this took longer than it should, and I think Holzkern customer services ultimately realised that taking responsibility for goods which may not be perfect every time is important.
No issues with the replacement, so all good in the end. Keep developing comms on aftersales quality for your customers and the company should continue to grow.

Christmas Present

Edit: Although customer service took slightly longer than expected to get back to me, they were kind and eager to resolve my concern. I still believe that their products are high quality and beautiful. I will be purchasing them in the future. Thanks!

Original: I want to start by saying that Holzkern seems like a really awesome company, and I’m genuinely impressed with the quality of the watch. The craftsmanship and design feel premium, and overall the product itself exceeded my expectations.

The only reason I’m leaving a 2-star review is due to my experience with customer support. I reached out regarding a return for a watch I purchased as a Christmas gift. My goal isn’t to leave the brand, but to explore other Holzkern models that may be a better fit.

Unfortunately, I haven’t received a response yet, and with the return window closing, I’m concerned that my return may no longer be valid simply due to the lack of communication.

I’m more than happy to update this review once the issue is resolved, as I truly like the product and would love to have a smoother experience with Holzkern moving forward.

Outstanding from start to finish!

I was gifted a beautiful watch by my partner for my Christmas Birthday but unfortunately the bracelet was defective after only being worn a handful of times. I can only presume that if you get a watch that works they would be good. If, however, you get one that doesn't they are very unhelpful and incredible slow to responded. Apparently 'sorry we will sort this problem out' is most definitely not in there skill set. Not recommended.

Disappointed return customer

I am a return customer, having purchased a piece as a gift several years ago. This time, I bought my partner a dark coloured bandlet as a gift. Unfortunately, the bandlet stains his wrist every time he wears it, presumably due to dye being used to stain the wood without a coating to seal it in. Customer service was initially prompt, but have quickly tailed off and I'm concerned that I won't get a replacement product as despite a chaser, they have gone silent on me. It's a huge shame as the product is beautiful, but can't be worn. Overall, a very disappointing purchase, particularly as it was a Christmas present. I won't be risking it with Holzkern again.

Fake, cheap and no customer service

I bought my husband a bracelet for the holidays. He wore it for an hour and it turned his wrist black. Cheap jewelry that they do not guarantee even though they say they do. I asked for a refund and was refused. DO NOT waste your hard earned money on this fake company!

I appreciate the quality of the bandlet. But I am very desapointed of the missing sodalite on few chain links. In m'y case 5 links without. This is not what I see on the Web site. All links are with sodalite. What you see is not what you get.
(After contacting Holzkern, they kindly sent me three additional links. Unfortunately, only one of them contained sodalite. While I appreciate the effort, the issue is still not fully resolved.)

Lack of customer service

I purchased a watch as a gift 12/13/25. I had reviewed the validity and reputation prior to purchase and was excited to purchase a beautiful watch for my daughter. I was concerned the item may not arrive prior to Christmas so I reached out and customer service replied back within a few hours to confirm. I was impressed.
Fast forward to 12/25/25. My daughter opened her watch (which she loved) she set the time, wound the watch, and it wouldn’t tick. We spent 24hrs winding and trying to get the watch to work. It started briefly a few times and would then stop.
I reached out to customer service via their online form 12/26/25. I received an immediate response email with instructions on winding the watch… I tried again and still the watch would not work so I replied to the customer service email. Nobody responded. I waited a day, still no response, so I filled out another customer service form and again received the exact same instruction response. Clearly a generic response. I realized at this point that another email was sent by the company (automatically generated) that states they will reply within 1-4 business days and to provide photos of all sides of item as well as my address, so I replied to all emails with the requested photos and address. I still heard nothing. So then I jumped on a with the chatbot hoping I could be redirected to a live person. I again provided an explanation of the problem, photos of the item, and my address and invoice number. I was given a reference number and told a customer service representative would contact me this was 12/31/25. It is now 1/2/26. I have not received an email, phone call, or text from the company. It is so frustrating there is no phone number to contact. At this point I will be returning the item if I still haven’t heard back by 1/5/26 and buying another brand watch for my daughter. I’m disappointed because the watch is beautiful and my daughter loves it, I just wanted it replaced, however the customer service experience has made me no longer want to deal with this company.

Quality and professional service

Bought a Tremolo bandlet for my husband for a Christmas gift. It is well made and the presentation box that I opted for looks tasteful too. He loves it and I’m delighted with the quality. The presentation box arrived unprotected in a larger box and was scufffed. The bandlet would have been too small for him, even with the two extra links that come with it so I contacted them for more links and a new box.
