Review: Deep Plane Face Lift Experience performed on 03.02.2026 in Istanbul.

I'm writing to share my experience with the Deep Plane Face Lift procedure organized by IME Clinic, Istanbul, at ERDEM HEALTH GRUP, Hospital (Day 6 post-op). Overall, I'm satisfied with the management of the surgery, bu my experience was marred by a lack of clear post-op guidance and support...

Appreciated:

- Airport assistance and transfers to and from the hospital were excellent. The team was very professional and made my travel arrangements stress-free. The assigned hotel was also a good choice, with very nice staff.
- Follow-up appointments were well-organized, and the medical team was attentive to my concerns.

To improve:

- Assistance and feedback after discharge were severely lacking. I felt abandoned and alone with many unanswered questions.
- The post-operative protocol was not clearly communicated, leaving me uncertain about:
- How often to change the bandages
- How to behave for a fast recovery
- Dietary restrictions and recommendations
- Movement and activity guidelines
- Management of pain and insomnia

I was disappointed that I didn't receive more guidance and support during the recovery process. A clear post-operative protocol and regular check-ins would have greatly alleviated my concerns and anxiety.

Despite the challenges, I'm pleased with the partial results of the surgery, and I'm grateful for the care I received during my hospital stay. However, I hope that IME Clinnic will review and improve their post-operative care to ensure that future patients receive the support they need for a smooth recovery.

I would recommend this hospital for the surgery itself, but future patients should be aware of the potential lack of post-operative support. I'll update this review in a few weeks to provide a more comprehensive evaluation of the post-surgery support, results, and follow-ups with the staff.

It was nice and warm atmosphere very hospitable people which works at the clinic.
Clinic is well equipped and very clean.
At the clinic they answered all my questions and everything what they did was professional.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Emre and his plastic surgery team. Dr. Emre is exceptionally talented, kind, compassionate, and truly cares about his patients. From the very beginning, I felt heard, supported, and confident in his care.

The nurses on the 7th floor of the hospital were outstanding and attentive to all of my medical needs. A heartfelt thank you to the nurse (Ahmet) not only came to my bedside but also checked on me at my hotel to be sure I was comfortable and didn’t need anything—that level of care meant so much to me.

I am also incredibly grateful to Selçuk, the medical facilitator, who was available at all times, promptly answered my questions, coordinated communication between Dr. Emre and me, arranged transportation, and ensured every detail—from my procedures to my accommodations—was handled seamlessly.

A very special thank you to Dr. Emre for everything he did for me. I am truly grateful and would highly recommend him and his entire team. Dr Emre is must if you are seeking cosmetic/plastic surgery.

I accompanied my mother from the United States for facial cosmetic procedures, including a deep plane facial performed by Dr. Emre. The results exceeded my expectations. Dr. Emre is professional, talented, knowledgeable, informative and kind. To provide anything less an exceptional review would be an understatement.

Furthermore, Dr. Emre’s team, including nurse Ahmet, and our translator Selçuk were always in direct communication, keeping us informed of every step-by-step along the way, and accommodated our pick up from the airport to hotel, hotel to clinic and vice versa. Special thanks to everyone on the team that made this experience as professional and seamless as possible.

Doctor Atacan Emre Kocman is excellent. I was beyond impressed by his exceptionally detailed preoperative, operative and post operative interactions with me. You can sense how experienced he is and how deeply he cares about his profession. Even more reassuring was his commitment to ensuring my long term outcome remaining natural looking and appropriate. You will feel beyond fortunate you choose him. As impressive is the entire support staff that works in conjunction with him. Each individual performs well beyond any expectation I had. They were friendly, attentive and unbelievably support throughout the week. All requests were met immediately and I felt as if they wanted to do even more. Their positivity and professionalism was something you will appreciate every day of your stay. There are many options out there, this is the team you should choose. Highly recommended.

Amazing experience with IME Clinic in Istanbul. From the doctors to the coordinators and interpreters, the entire team was professional, organized, and attentive from start to finish. Communication was clear, everything was explained in detail, and I felt supported throughout the entire process. This was my second time using their services, and once again they exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended for anyone considering treatment in Istanbul!

I would like to share my positive experience with International Medical Expert Clinic (IME Clinic) in Istanbul.

Everything was very well organized, and I received great support from Irem, who helped with all arrangements, transportation/accommodation, and medical translation. She stayed in contact even after the operation, which made me feel supported and confident throughout the whole process.

I would like to say a special thank you to Kadir, my surgeon from the hair transplantation clinic working in cooperation with IME Clinic. He is a true professional and was with me during the whole operation. His calm, confident manner made me feel safe and in very good hands.

The overall package offered an excellent balance between price and quality, and the staff was friendly, attentive, and caring.

I am very happy with my decision and can honestly recommend IME Clinic and their partner hair transplantation clinic.

What made IME great to work with was the responsiveness and attention to details by Selçuk. Every question I had, minor or not, he promptly answered or contacted the doctors to help answer. I felt that I could trust his answers. I found him to be very dependable. Selçuk has a personable way about him that makes you feel very comfortable. This is important when you are consider such personal surgery. I contacted a total of 8 clinics with the same questions but none of them showed the same professionalism and responsiveness as Selçuk. I also have both food allergies and severe allergies to medications so an extra few steps had to be undertaken to review this with the anesthesiologist before scheduling. All of Selçuk scheduling was right on time. He has great leadership abilities and makes sure that each project, each patient has the appropriate needs met until they leave.

Informative, caring and reassuring staff from 1st contact with lady Dr Yossra, to my coordinators on the ground Imer and Ahmed. Both nurses, with excellent English skills, and obviously very experienced in this field and sensitive to the patients needs. Nothing was too much trouble, even helping me get some groceries for when I returned to my hotel post op. Always at the end of the phone, I never felt anxious or worried because they were there for me 100%.

I had my facelift an necklift done at Erdem hospital. Everything went positively. Good doctor (dr. Emre), the nurses, the assistents. Now I am waiting at home for the end result.
