If only I had read the reviews before hand! Firstly Nickscali why have you turned off the option for people to post photographs on their reviews? That’s a silly question as the only reason you as a company would turn off the photo feature is because people would be able to see the poor quality of the sofas you are selling and people would be able to see for themselves rather than just reading reviews. Your replies to customer complaints below make it sound as if you have dealt with the complaints when in fact you just say no to everything and think you are beyond the consumer rights that you are not honouring. Your company is dishonest and you are selling sofas that are not the same as the ones in the showroom. I’m actually beyond upset with the situation I am now in, having to save for over a year to now have a sofa that is damaged and looks tatty after only 3 weeks is devastating. Please if you are reading this do your research and read the negative reviews on this awful company and spend your money with a reputable company. Nick scali please don’t comment and ask for more details as you have already got them and have done nothing to help me. Turn on your photo feature so people can see what they are going to get, if you are a reputable company then there is no risk in doing so!

Further update as your message gives the impression you have settled my issue, you have sent me a email saying you will not replace or refund- hardly settled. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE The update is we not be offered any form of compensation or a replacement for the poor quality sections. Please listen when I say I have been completely scammed by this company. Sofa arrived with baggy material and a dent in the foot-stall, despite telling them immediately and providing pictures they have sent an ‘independant’ technician who has reported there is no manufacturing fault. I wish I could share the photos on here as there are clearly issues, I am now having to go to the small claims court to get my money back, awful customer service and a sofa that is clearly not fit for purpose that cost almost £2000.

Bought a brand new leather lounge suite from Nick Scali West Gosford. Within 7weeks the leather stretched and ‘pooling’ of the leather made the lounge look years old. After contacting NS they sent out an “independent contractor” to assess. From the moment he entered it was clear his job was to isolate NS from any warranty claim. He measured the stretch in one of the seats and it had stretched 60mm in seven weeks, which according to him was normal. He then showed us the trade tricks to tuck in the stretch to make the lounge ‘look new’, IT WAS NEW.
True to form NS denied warranty responsibility.
Learned my lesson, hopefully others will learn.

I regret purchasing a couch from this store. Despite the high price, the quality was disappointing, with noticeable wear appearing far sooner than expected. When I raised my concerns, I was informed that refunds were not offered, which felt unreasonable given the condition of the product. The lack of support after purchase left me frustrated and dissatisfied. I would not purchase from here again.

One star is far too generous. We ordered armchairs on 22nd of November and were promised delivery by the end of February. Instead, we’ve now received four different delay messages in just the past couple of weeks.
These chairs were not custom-made — they’re the exact same design, fabric, and colour as the ones on display in-store. So what’s the excuse?
Nick Scali had no issue taking good amount of prepayment upfront (40% of total amount) but delivery dates clearly mean nothing to them. The lack of honesty, accountability, and basic customer service is appalling.
This feels misleading at best and downright dodgy at worst. Completely unacceptable for a supposedly “reputable furniture retailer”. Avoid if you value your time or money.

Unprofessional, unapologetic, rude, rip off. Couch was brought, had defaults, had upholstery person out who tried to fix it. NS will give us refund $1000 less than we paid and store credit (which would be a waste, as i won't step foot in there again. Its brand new!! I will never!! Ever!!! Shop there again. Absolutely appalling, disgusting customer service 😑. The old saying you get what you paid for is out the window! Rather shop at a cheap and nasty place knowing I'll get better quality and service! Shame on Nick Scali and their team! Putrid behaviour. Will be going to consumer affairs on this one and escalating it as far as it can go. I have many highly populated media platforms, and the 1000's of followers will also be warned ⚠️. Do better!

Product looks fine. The delivery was awful, might sound like a small issue but they dumped all the empty boxes on the front lawn. Surely it is more practical for the delivery specialists remove these huge boxes? Made the whole experience second rate!! Would look to purchase elsewhere next time.
I wish I read online reviews before we purchased our bed frame and beside tables. Sales staff were excellent and it appeared that they will help us to exchange bedside tables for the two smaller versions at a charge, but sadly they would not agree to sell the smaller tables at the same sale price that they were on in January, not even a week from the time we bought our furniture items.
As a result I will now try to sell all three items online and will definitely not buy any other furniture at Nick Scali. A friend did ask me why am I buying furniture from them as they are known as a cheap brand. But I already got our items delivered.

Nick Scali has been nothing short of a nightmare.
Their sales reps explicitly told us the furniture was in stock, so we paid over $8,500 in good faith, only to find out after taking our money that the order was delayed. This delay completely derailed a live project where all furniture was required last week.
As a direct result of Nick Scali’s incompetence and misleading information, our project has been set back and financially damaged. This is not a “delivery hiccup” this is real-world impact caused by false assurances.
What’s worse? This is the second time we’ve had this exact issue with Nick Scali. At this point, it’s clearly not an accident it’s how they operate.
Trying to resolve this through their customer service has been even more infuriating. Their call centres are overseas, and not a single representative seems to give a flying shit about the situation. No accountability, no urgency, no ownership—just scripted apologies and zero solutions.
They are quick to take your money and completely absent when things go wrong.
This has been a horrible experience every single time we’ve dealt with Nick Scali. Never again. I strongly advise anyone considering buying from them to think twice unless you’re happy being misled, delayed, and ignored.

Could not recommend Nick Scali enough, we were hesitant ordering as we had read about issues with delivery and delays. However, our couches arrived prior to the date that we were initially promised. The delivery team did an incredible job installing and we love our couches. Cannot recommend them enough.

Had a 16wk wait, booked delivery date and it arrived that day, Delivery men had no problems getting it in, they assembled it quickly and professionaly,
Wow well worth the wait it is perfect.

Viewed in store then chose to order online as we live in a different area and needed to take measurements once home. Guy in store was a bit too familiar with his service attitude - he thought he was funny??? Anyway texting and emailing from order was a bit mixed up like lack of communication when trying to arrange delivery. Positives are the items are fabulous - two great new lounge suites thanks along with wonderful 2 delivery guys / great communication, polite, friendly, professional and punctual - apparently they came from Melbourne over on the boat to Tasmania ? 2 young men an asset for sure.

The process was simple, just finding what we liked online, then being able to go to the store to see the couch and sit on it was super useful as we made the changes that we wanted. We are superb happy with our new couch, it is everything we wanted. The delivery was great too as we have a long awkward driveway and the guys did a great job.
