My child has been studying with Novakid…

My child has been studying with Novakid for three years, and we have seen a significant improvement in English speaking skills.
The lessons are well-structured and engaging, and the teachers are professional and supportive.
Thanks to consistent practice through live classes, my child is now much more confident in speaking English and can communicate naturally.
We are very satisfied with the program and highly recommend it to other parents looking to improve their child’s English conversation skills.

Novakidschool is a great platform for…

Novakidschool is a great platform for our daughter to learn English. She is looking forward to the lessons and progresses fast. The only downside I can think of is that the app isn’t always working smoothly.

My child really enjoys the lessons

While it may vary depending on the teacher, our experience has been very positive. The teacher is always cheerful and interactive, asking many questions and keeping the lesson engaging. My child really enjoys the classes.

Occasionally the lesson feels a bit short, and we would love to try longer sessions in the future. Overall, we are satisfied, and the response time to questions and messages has been quite fast.

Novakid is doing a wonderful job with their interactive platform and highly-energy teachers. My child loves the gamified lessons and the reward system, which makes learning fun.

We have had a great experience with Novakid so far! My child is always excited for the next class, which is a huge win for us. The platform has truly mastered the art of making learning enjoyable for young kids. The Novakid Game world is brilliant. It turn lessons into an adventure, using stars, trophies, and interactive games that keep children motivated and focused. The teacher are high-energy educators who know how to use TPR to help kids understand concepts effectively. The 25-minute 1on-1 format is perfect for a child’s attention span. To make the experience even better, I suggest improving the mobile app’s loading speed and adding more variety to the homework task. Overall, I highly recommend Novakid for its professional and fun approach to English learning.

The platform itself is buggy and incredibly frustrating to use—I had to enter my child's name and age multiple times, and it kept sending me back to the start after the quiz. Completely unprofessional, especially given the price.

Even if this service were free, I wouldn't recommend it. It's a waste of time and shows no respect for users. Stay away from Novakid.

The learning system is well…

The learning system is well thought-through and adapted to kids. Teachers (especially native ones) are good, have usually great contact with kids.
I seriously dislike the subscription system - automatic renewal is the only option, not giving option to use reduction codes (I got a reminder 1 day before renewal, but it wasn't enough). Disposable credit cards do not work.
On top, it is possible to copy in the calendar only the next incoming lesson and reminders in-app work or don't, so it results in missed classes... The login on the platform is 2-step one and consequently, my kids can't login alone.
My both kids are learning for couple of years now and they progressed well in English, but I am fed up and I already blocked future payments to Novakid - this subscription is the last one.

Worst online experience I ever had.

Worst online experience I ever had.
Teachers were impatient and lessons were very low quality.
The pricing and payments are very misleading. We paused the subscription but billing continued for another 4 months. When I tried to cancel my subscription it was practically impossible. Stay away from Novakid!!!

Novakid is without emotion.

I applied after I saw various publications from their recruiters on Facebook. They were initially excited after seeing my background (I met all their criteria). I talked to one of their recruiters named Polina. Everything went fine until they learned I had an expired passport. I have been out work for several months this year (which was explained in the initial emails). I explained I wouldn't be able to get one until my job gives us our Christmas bonus. They IMMEDIATELY rejected the application. Not even a "hey we understand your situation could you apply again when you get it?". Nope. No empathy, no nothing. I do not recommend applying to such a cold company they could care less what your situation is.

Sofia is learning English with Novakid

My daughter Sofia has been learning English with Novakid for over three years. She is currently at level 5. We previously had a native speaker from the Philippines, but now her teacher is from South Africa. We are extremely pleased with her progress. In her class at a regular school, our Sofia is proficient in English. This year Sofia plans to take part in the English Olympiad. We are sure that she will be among the winners. Thank you Novakid for the wonderful growth of our child.

Novakid Experience

Novakid is a great place to work part-time it’s a solid platform with mostly cooperative kids and many other wonderful features. However, my main concern is about the gifts that parents give to teachers. From what I understand, when a parent sends a gift, it’s equivalent to the full class rate, but Novakid only passes on the teacher’s base pay portion. I find this a bit unethical, as it feels similar to withholding part of a tip from a waiter. I do understand that there are administrative costs involved in running the platform, but just as free trials are treated as a marketing investment to attract students, I believe Novakid should reconsider this policy. Teachers should be allowed to receive the full value of the gifts they’re given, regardless of their base pay rate.

My son Basil started his lessons with…

My son Basil started his lessons with Novakid a month ago, and I've already seen significant progress. What I love most is the interactive curriculum that makes learning fun for him, and his fantastic teacher [KIM B] who has a wonderful ability to hold his attention.

Basil takes [3] classes a week, and he can now pronounce some words correctly and form simple sentences. I look forward to seeing him speak English fluently in the future. I highly recommend Novakid to anyone looking for an effective and enjoyable way to teach their children.

The 3 stars that I gave are exclusively…

The 3 stars that I gave are exclusively for my son's teacher. Mr Vaid is amazing, but the site is a crap. My son has more than 1 year with them, and I kept the subscription just because he got very attached to Mr Vaid, but lately I am extremely pissed off. I always had issues with them, but at least I was fixing them with the employees. Now they have a bot answering to the messages and fixing nothing. Last week, my son had 2 lessons that disappeared from the app. They were booked the same day one after another, when we logged in to make them, they were vanished. Ofcourse, nobody answered us to fix the problem, not even after 1 week, the lessons were not returned and the Bot was unable to help. What a disappointment

Unfair treatment of workers

This company treats workers very poorly. This includes myself and someone else I know who currently works here. They treat workers very negatively when they get any sort of negative feedback. Once this feedback is given, even if the feedback is extremely biased and unfair (the worker might have 99% of exceptional reviews, for example), the company is extremely rude and leaves workers with little job security, even firing them, based on one bad review - a frequent occurance. I feel that a dedicated amd talented learner being fired with immediate effect and left to sudden job instability and financial insecurity is unfair and wrong. This is not a one time thing, as I have heard from several UK teachers that this also happened to them and some more are also experiencing the same issue at present. It is heartbreaking and scary, you do not even get to say goodbye to your pupils - some you may have taught for a long time. It is really unfair. Please can this company sort out their unfair treatment of workers and be more courteous in cases of negative reviews against teachers - consider the whole case (perentage of positive feedback and overall quality of teaching) and significant number of positive reviews alongside tutors. Do not jump straight to firing someone and remove us without a justifiable reason. It is unfair treatment. I know you are employing workers for less pay to replace us, and I feel this is quite calculate and cruel. Please stop. It discredits your brand and will leave customers with a poorer quality of teaching.

many questions, few answers

Good afternoon. My son started learning English at your school. According to the results of the trial lesson, he showed a level 4 knowledge of the language. This fact was not taken into account when choosing group classes. As a result, the group lesson was held in the company of children at a much lower level. My son didn't like it, it was boring, although he is very happy with the teacher. How do I choose a group based on my level of language proficiency? before paying for the lessons, it was not known about the duration of the lesson. I was sure that the lesson would last at least 45 minutes, or even 60. but no! 30 minutes! That's an awful lot for that kind of money and the age of 12. There are no reminders about classes. We got the time wrong by half an hour today. I had to skip class. It's very disappointing. I hope tomorrow the individual lesson will correspond to the level and age of my son. It was also a shame not to receive a response to a request for the opportunity to study with a teacher who taught a trial lesson. We have not received a response. So far, I'm just getting disappointed. There are English language schools that are better focused on their clients.

We’re sorry the group class didn’t meet your expectations. Groups are formed based on both the child’s level and age, but we understand that sometimes the match may not feel ideal. You can try switching to a different group with another teacher. Sometimes a different dynamic works better.

Our classes are 25 minutes long because this format keeps kids engaged and focused. However, at your current level, you can book double 50-minute lessons. If you're interested, we’ll gladly help set it up!

About reminders — they’re sent via push notifications in the Novakid mobile App. Make sure the App is installed and notifications are enabled ✔️

As for the teacher from the trial lesson, unfortunately, that teacher is no longer working with us, which is why she’s unavailable for booking.
