This company is one of the most difficult to deal with as an online ordering partner. As a customer of over 10 years, I cannot stress enough just how awful trying to cancel the partnership will be if you decide to move provider. I've been working on it for over a year with constant reassurances that everything is done, when in reality nothing has been done. I've given them the £150 that has to be paid move the domain.
If you partner with them you will NEVER be free of them. BEWARE.
Partnering with this company is like being in an abusive relationship, they will deny any wrong doings and turn it around on you. They take ownership of your listing and lie. I've contacted Google to remove the link (to no avail). I've sent and corresponded to multiple emails and chats and I'm no further forward. Have contacted the authorities and am seeking legal advice. Getting out of jail would be easier than getting away from this horrible company.
Ordered from a takeaway using this service on their website. Food never arrived, takeaway didn't answer their phone. So went there in person to find that the business has closed down - lights off and mountains of unopened letters (many looking like debt letters) on the other side of their doormat. I went to the takeaway opposite and asked - they advised that the business had been closed for over 2 months.
I contacted OrderYOYO to advise of this (given the money had been taken from my card). Over several hours of incredibly slow replies on their online chat system I was told that they would not refund until they had spoken to the takeaway business. They then confirmed they could not reach the business either. We went around in circles with me explaining that the business has clearly closed down. Them explaining that they won't refund without speaking (to a business that no longer exists to actually speak to.)
Basically this is the ideal platform for scammers to use to con people out of money, as the platform appears to support them in doing this. Ie, set up a business, take money for orders that you will never fulfil and get supported by OrderYOYO when you never respond to anyone after taking the money.
I spoke to my bank to make a chargeback request. Bank advised I'm entitled to cancel my order within 14 days under UK law, distance selling regulations, and to advise OrderYOYO of this. I did so, and they still refused (to comply with UK law).
So in my mind, this company is effectively either a scam outfit themselves, or acting unlawfully in a way that facilitates others in scamming people, where they make money from this themselves. I have advised my bank and am now proceeding with a chargeback request to my card through them.
Its a really glitchy and tricky app to navigate.
The call to action buttons do not line up with the products on my iphone. This makes ordering incredibly difficult. I have abandoned ordering from it several times and used a different company completely. This is lost revenue for the take aways & restaurants on its platform.
The UX is very badly managed. The UI could be good if it actually worked.
Also, the design is not responsive to all phone sizes so its tricky to see whats on the pages at all.
I eventually (nearly 20 mins later) ordered from my favourite take away, which is the only reason i percevered! I will suggest to them to leave this platform.
They must be losing trade because of it.
Now, IF OrderYoyo put some time and effort & some basic Python skills (or whicever they use) into updating/ edeveloping, it could be good.. but right now it is a really shoddy, poorly navigable platform & difficult to get working for customers to access purchasing.
So beware. They happily take their cut from payments, but dont deliver on customer friendly navigation.
delivered 4hrs late in DECEMBER
Food was spoiled
Still chasing refund
I placed an order and it was cancelled, called the restaurant and was told order was cancelled due to having no drivers then was asked to place the order again for collection and book uber courier to collect my order. While rebooking my order, I mistakenly chose delivery and called the restaurant to cancel the order due to the mistake. They refused to cancel it and did not refund my money. I messaged customer service and got no response, there are no phone numbers to give a call to customer service, I feel I have been scammed.
Ordered. Given a delivery time. 30 mins later no sign of food. Impossible to contact them.
They don't care. They won't refund you. They won't help you. I ordered food that arrived 2 hours and 15 minutes late and cold. They said to get in touch with restaurant. I explained that I couldn't. They said they would they. They explained they couldn't. I asked for a refund. They said they couldn't. I called them they didn't answer the phone. I got several different messages explaining several different things. They don't care. They aren't going to refund you if you have an issue.
Awful waited a hour and half to be told by the takeaway that they was having problems food came and was cold and awful
Buyer beware, was shorted part of the order eqauted to £12 not heaps of money but shorted none the less, contacted the restuarant to be be told we are busy, ok can you issue refund for teh missed goods, put the phone down, rang again, put the phone down, my number is now blocked, I contacted Yoyo, they tell me that I have to conatct the restaurant to complain, told them I have and that I have been blocked they said contact the resturant unless the restaurant approve the refund you won't get anything so effectively it is ok by Yoyo for a business to not send your goods and keep your money - moral of teh story use a proper business that deal with people properly Ubereats deliveroo justeat
I was disappointed that the site was still operating a business which had officially closed, but that may well not be their fault.
However, once an issue was raised, the funds were promptly refunded and communication was clear. I'm grateful for that.
AWFUL AVOID AT ALL COSTS ❌ sabroso Tex-Mex We are beyond annoyed that OrderYOYO still has our old website live despite us no longer being a customer. It is disgusting and misleading. The site even states “This restaurant is OPEN – Opens again 16 September 2029”, which is completely false and actively misleads the public. We are not coming back, we do not trade with you, and we want this domain shut down immediately. Continuing to keep it live is unfair, irresponsible, and damaging to our business. OrderYOYO should respond publicly and explain why this has been allowed to continue. After asking literally 40-50 times to take the website down we have been ignored!!
Do not trust your small business with these thieves
would not recommend to any small business they are directly impacting my small business even after 6 months of not being partnered with them anymore. (They even called me personally last week to say how are things going, when we had cancelled our contract 6+ months ago CLUELESS and BADLY MANAGED!)
Extremely disappointing experience with OrderYOYO.
They have kept our old website domain live and active instead of shutting it down, despite us no longer using it. This has actively misled customers, with people repeatedly ordering or clicking through the old, unused site, something we then get the complaints for. This has caused confusion, lost trust, and unnecessary stress for our business. We are actively trying to get this taken down and now in the stages of hiring a legal team.
Payments are another major issue. Funds are regularly withheld or delayed, often with vague or questionable explanations such as “Irish bank holidays”. As a small business, cash flow is critical, and excuses like this are unacceptable when wages, suppliers, and bills still need paying on time.
The platform itself is poorly built and unreliable. Domains crash frequently, the system is not user-friendly, and even basic tasks feel unnecessarily complicated. It’s far from the “simple ecommerce solution” they advertise.
Support is almost non-existent. Getting hold of anyone is extremely difficult, and when you do, you’re often routed to a foreign call centre where communication is a struggle and issues are not properly understood or resolved. There is no real support for small businesses, once you’re signed up, you’re largely on your own and nobody uses their website anyway as they aren’t user friendly.
If we had left our business entirely in OrderYOYO’s hands, we would genuinely have no business left. I would strongly advise other independents to think very carefully before using this platform. They are dangerous, there is more I could say but that is for my legal team to pursue at this time.
I have two store with order yoyo but they destroy my business and they never fulfill their commitments. They stopped my weekly payment. Still I didn’t get any payment from them from day first. No response from them. Don’t signup your business with them. Totally headge. Never go with them.
The service was excellent, and the matter was handled promptly. I am very satisfied. Thanks
Very friendly, helpful and professional customer service.
The website is often not working properly and customer service is non existent when taking money from businesses.... Definitely thumbs way down. Would give zero if it was possible.

Avoid: Awful support and repeatedly refused to release our domain despite charging us for it.
We moved our takeaway away from OrderYOYO over six months ago and paid the £50 fee they requested to transfer our domain.
Despite this, they still have not released the domain. We have repeatedly asked for the admin contact on the domain to be changed to my email address, but they refuse to do this, they also don’t accept transfer requests which blocks the transfer.
Support is awful. Responses take weeks, and when they do reply, nothing ever happens. We are repeatedly told the IPS tag has been changed and that the domain will be released - it never is.
They have also kept our old website live, which has confused customers and caused ongoing issues for our business.
This has dragged on for over six months, and we know of other takeaways experiencing the same problem.
Absolutely unacceptable service.
⭐ 1 star.
My order was duplicated on the app so I'd paid twice. I called the establishment to cancel an order but they said I had to get a refund via the app. The email confirmation said to use WhatsApp chat. So I did. The person I dealt with said she had to get confirmation from the establishment to process the refund. I've called the place 3 times to see if they had been in touch. They haven't. The person via WhatsApp is lying, saying she can't get in touch with them to process my refund. Once the payment has cleared I will be raising a dispute with my bank to get my money back. Will never order via this app again.

We order out very rarely and this is one of the reasons why! Having had a 'bit of a day of it' we decided to get a delivery from our local takeaway in Wisbech. It was pre-ordered around 4.45 to be delivered at 5.45. All was good..... or so we thought
At 6, I called as it was still not delivered to which their response was: we don't have a delivery driver so you'll have to pick it up! The charge had been made for delivery which is when my involvement with orderyoyo started.
WhatsApp chat is their only method of contact and I've used this, pretty much, everyday since. Finally, after interacting with numerous 'people', I got my response - apparently it was delivered and my money is being kept by uber.
This is a nice little scam by either one of these companies (I've yet to work out which one) so.... don't do it to yourself!!
Waqar was great and explained everything....
Also call from natasha helped alot over the phone with app download and any other enquiries i had...
