I am extremely disappointed with the…

I am extremely disappointed with the customer service I have received from Parker & Sons, and I regret purchasing my AC system through Costco using their services. I scheduled service appointments twice, and both times their office cancelled at the last minute. They informed me that they were prioritizing other customers, which is completely unacceptable.
When I tried to raise my concerns, my text messages, emails, and voicemail messages were ignored. I called several times, and their representatives repeatedly told me that I needed to contact Costco instead of Parker & Sons to address the issue. This shows a serious lack of management, accountability, and respect for customers.
After months of trying to reach them, I visited Costco today and spoke with the Parker & Sons representative. Unfortunately, she tried to minimize the situation rather than address why their office ignored my communications and cancelled my appointments back-to-back.
This experience has shown me that Parker & Sons is not a trustworthy company to purchase services from. The lack of accountability, leadership, and customer service is shocking, and customers deserve transparency and responsible service—not repeated cancellations and ignored messages.

Terrible service from Parker

I had a new install scheduled with Parker and Sons on a Monday between 8-10AM. Nobody showed up. I called Parker to discuss. I talked to a Parker representative who indicated that she needed to talk to “electrical” and I was put on hold for 40 minutes. When Parker returned to the call, a different representative started from scratch. I was in the process of explaining the situation when I was disconnected. I called back and had to wait another 10 minutes before a 3rd Parker representative answered. Terrible service!!!

I had my annual AC check-up today by AC technician Justin Kelley. He arrived exactly when he said he would and was very polite and professional. He was happy to answer my questions and I will definitely request him for my future appointments. Parker and Sons is an amazing company all around!!

Joshua is the best !

Service date is approximate.
I had my air conditioning unit serviced by Joshua. In over a quarter century, I have had probably a dozen air conditioner technicians come to my house from various companies..
Joshua was absolutely outstanding !
He was competent,professional ,integritous, & personable !
None of the previous technicians from any company ever came close !
I tried to leave a positive review for him shortly after he visited my home. Unfortunately, I tried to leave it on Google reviews.. they printed the review, and put it under “AC by J” who I have no relationship with, and I’ve never used. It took me from then till now to figure out how they screwed up the review.. obviously I’ll never use them again, but that is the reason for the delay in posting this review.
Thank you, Parker & Sons for having employees like Joshua to handle my air conditioning needs. I am most grateful. !

Bob did a great job. Thank you so much for a quick response and having Bob do the repairs. He was thorough in his evaluation of the problem and quickly fixed our dishwasher. We will certainly use you again. Thank you.

Plumbing

I was fortunate enough to get Samuel to inspect my plumbing and drain my hot water heater. He did an excellent job on both. However, during the plumbing inspection he found a small slow leak under my sink that I never would’ve found on my own. This time it was minor enough where I was able to correct it myself, but whether I did the repair or they did the repair, I was lucky to get it done and never would have unless he spotted it. Samuel is now my man for any and all plumbing repairs !

Two strikes

Used this company twice, giving them the benefit of the doubt the first time, but two strikes and you're out! First time was for a water main valve feed to my home. The valve was not correctly sweated-in the first time and leaked after two weeks of "new" install. They sent two tech's to figure it out and ultimately affected repairs that should have been done the first time. Second time was for AC checkup. Was promised a window of time for the tech to get here, didn't show within the promised window, so we called to complain. We were given the runaround by the dispatcher for 20 minutes and on hold for another 20 minutes and finally a tech called. Sometimes companies get too big for their britches. Parker and Son's is one of them. Never again will I call this company!

Iwater heater died so I called parker…

Iwater heater died so I called parker and sons. The tech who spoke with my home warranty company indicated water heater was still unwarranty.Therefore therefore the home warranty company would not pay. I authorizeD the tech to go ahead and make the repair and install a new heater. He did so and removed the old water heater from the property. Per the water heater company, the new water heater required the old one to be returned for a refund. This was not done, i had to call another company to find the appropriate way to return a water heater and then call parker and sons several times to get this corrected. I also was not aware that the repair was going to cost almost four thousand dollars and when speaking with their plumbing manager was unable to come to an agreement about the warranty, work and charges. Supposedly their owner texted me and requested the story.However , I only ever got to speak with the plumbing manager and never the owner. I'm very disappointed in the tech's
statement to his employer that I was notified of all charges and approved them when that was not the case. I feel badly that he needed to lie to keep his job instead of admitting the error.

Upcharges and exploits the elderly

My elderly mother with dementia called this company to repair a leaky toilet in one bathroom. They ended up charging her 1500 dollars for each toilet and ended up convincing her to replace her other two toilets for $5,000 total! She gave them all the money she had and still didn't have enough. Shameful.

Terrible a/c company and service

Terrible a/c company and service. Took advantage of my elderly parents on air conditioning replacement AND reach out/schedule monthly unrequested other inspections like electrical. Quoted my parents $1400 to replace 8 smoke alarms! Over $4000 for electrical panel work.
Highly unethical. Read the other reviews, another one mentions the elderly.

RUN And use SOMEONE ELSE

We got a referral from Costco to Parker and Sons for a new air conditioner about a year ago. At the time we just decided to fix our unit. Well fast forward to Sept 2024 and our air conditioner broke. Called Parker and Sons. The man that came out said that he could not quote us through Costco as they had done the year before. After a few days, I mentioned I was going to go with someone else, so they agreed to go through Costco and went on an on about the Parker and Sons Service. So we opted to go through Parker and Sons. He even said the installers would cut the few branches that were blocking the ladder access.

Fast forward to installation day. The workers came out and were dismayed to find out we did not have an attic because of our vaulted ceilings. They also said there were tree branches in the way and they were not allowed to cut them. I climbed on a ladder and cut the branches off with a chainsaw. One of the workers was freaking out saying he was going to get hurt from falling branches, but he did not have to stand under the tree and I asked him to move. The supervisor came out in the afternoon and told me that they could have cut the tree branches and that they would take them away since I had to do it.

These guys acted like they had no idea what to do. They arrived at 7:30 am, and did not leave until 9:30 pm. At the end of the day they informed us that they installed it wrong (even though it was blowing cold air) and they would have to bring back two cranes another day to re-install. They left a huge mess in my neighbor's yard, and left tools inside the house. They told me someone would call me to schedule the reinstall.

A week later, no one called. So, I called them, and the person on the phone was rude, but they sent someone out. The new guy came out and said it needed to be reinstalled and someone would call me to schedule it. Non one called, so I called back in and they scheduled it for about a week later. Again took them all day.

After weeks, I had still not received the promised 15% Costco Cash Card. Turns out Parker and Sons did not complete the paperwork correctly, so I had to call and complain. After several phone calls, it finally got corrected and we received our Cash Card, but the customer service was lacking.

The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing and their workmanship is not good. The workman that installed the unit did not understand what needs to be done, and/or don't know how to do it.

Worst Experience With A Local Biz I've Ever Had

I have been a customer of Parker & Sons for several years, and I am extremely disappointed with the recent service I have received. My experience has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing, leading me to write this review to warn others who might consider using their services.

Issue 1: Poor Quality of Service
I initially reached out to Parker & Sons for HVAC installation, expecting a high level of professionalism and expertise. Unfortunately, the installation process was riddled with issues. The quality of work has been far below what I expected from a company that claims to be a leader in the industry.

Issue 2: Unresponsive and Unhelpful Customer Service
Throughout this ordeal, I've been in constant contact with several Parker & Sons' customer service team members, and the company has repeatedly failed to take responsibility for the issues I've raised. I requested a comprehensive review of my account multiple times to ensure all concerns were addressed, but my requests have been ignored or dismissed. Instead of taking the time to fully understand and resolve my concerns, the company has insisted that I specify what I consider a "fair" resolution without first reviewing their own work. This approach feels more like a tactic to avoid accountability rather than a genuine effort to provide customer satisfaction.

Issue 3: Misleading Information
In their final communication, Parker & Sons claimed that they had provided me with free services in the past and, therefore, would not offer any further assistance. This is simply not true. As a long-time customer, I have never received any free services from them. This false claim adds insult to injury and further damages my trust in this company.

Final Thoughts:
For a company that prides itself on customer satisfaction, Parker & Sons has failed to deliver on multiple fronts. The combination of poor service, lack of accountability, and misleading information has left me incredibly frustrated and disillusioned. I would strongly advise anyone considering using Parker & Sons to look elsewhere. Your time, money, and peace of mind are better spent with a company that values its customers and stands behind its work.

We purchased a replacement air conditioner

We purchased a replacement air conditioner and furnace from them about two months ago, and due to poor installers, they are still working to get the system working correctly. Recently, they came out to replace dampers that should have been replaced during the initial installation. After three separate trips to my house, it is still not done. One of the techs replaced the wrong damper, stepped through my ceiling, lied about testing the system, and didn't clean up the sheetrock mess he made.

They don't call you back, so you have to constantly hound them to get things done. You cannot escalate to a manager because they are all in the field and don't call you back. I would never recommend this company to anyone. There are so many other good choices. Save yourself some grief and don't use Parker and Sons.

VERY BAD EXPERIENCE

We hired Parker and Sons to replace a damaged electrical pedestal. We paid $4800. It was a very unsettling experience from beginning to end. The electrician was 1-1/2 hours late arriving and we were told it was because he forgot to check the warehouse to be sure they had a pedestal in stock for our install. Power was already cut so he was driving around trying to get a pedestal. While working on the pedestal, the electrician broke the main water line to our home AND the line to our irrigation system. They repaired the lines, but left them both leaking. My husband had to fix them the next morning. Electrician left exposed wiring to our brand new $16000 AC/heat pump. He put the 3/4” wiring into a 1/2” box. He also cut the cable to the heat pump too short when connecting it back to our pedestal. I contacted Parker and Sons and sent photos of the unsafe wiring and leaking water lines left by his team. The general manager called me back right away. He sent a more experienced electrician (per our request) out 2 days later to correct the poor workmanship of the first electrician. He had to install a 3/4” box. He also ran additional cable to the heat pump. The general manager told me he would follow up with me, but he never did. We were told we would be without electricity for 4-5 hours. We were without electricity AND water for 10+ hours! We signed up for the Family Plan but we have ZERO confidence in them now. We requested termination of the service plan. I would not recommend Parker and Sons. We also had an incident 3 weeks later where we received notification that Parker and Sons had arrived at our home for scheduled service that we did not schedule and had received no prior notification of. The technician was never at our house. We also asked 4 different people (electrician, his assistant, operations manager, and general manager) 6 different times to give us a bid for a circuit panel upgrade. They never did. We notified Parker and Sons a second time. The operations manager said these issues were handled by different departments and told us she would forward my email to the general manager. We also asked for confirmation that our service plan had been terminated but we have had no further response or follow-up despite all our issues.
