Paid in advance. Company went bancrupt. We did not get our van. They are still accepting new bookings and advance payments. Fraud!

The previous rental had crash the car so SkandiTrip call us many times to ask us if it was good for us to take it from lulea (yes they don’t have a car in Stockholm to remplace in case of problem). So we say yes and then they told us that it was in reality not possible, so they shows us a lot of new possibility that they canceled each time at the end.

Finally they find two solutions for us ! Bring a van from Lulea to Stockholm and lose a day of holidays, or just canceled the holidays (so we had to lose a day or canceled our holidays because of the previous renter, just because they don’t have a remplacement car for this type of case…)

So we accepted to lose a day and keep our trip in Sweden. But when we arrived to the station (with one hour late), nothing was ready we had to wait 2 more hours… When we took the van the bed in the middle was broken so we couldn’t sleep in the middle bed, and we have to fit to the children bed for all the holidays… we found some blood in the beds from the previous renter, a lot of dead flies and mosquitoes were under the beds, a lot different things were broken from the previous renter and were not repaired.

Well, then when we came back to the station to give the camping-car back, it was written to fill up the ADBLUE tank, so I called someone in SkandiTrip that told me to put 5L of ADBLUE and keep the receipt. But when I come back he told me that in fact they wouldn’t refund the amount because we used it (so we payed for at least the ten next renter).

Then I told them that all of this wasn’t normal and after a lot of calls and discussions they asked me to write an email with the calculation of the refund that I wanted.

So I did a complete mail to which he had never answered.

I called the boss few times everyday without success. (Yes he never answered me).

At the end, I used the phone of a friend to call him and he surprisingly finally answered.

Then he told me that he refund what I asked for ! Yeah finally.

So to summary if you want to relax and enjoy your holidays I would advise you to take another company, otherwise if you want to write many mails and calls as you usually do at work, it’s a good option.

Finally, I would advise you not to rent something in Skanditrip.

Our experience with Skanditrip was perfect. They were very attentive and helpful, we had some small problems with the vehicle and the internet, however, what matters is the way they solved the problems, always in the best way and ensuring that we could continue with our trip.

For a Singaporean family going to Sweden for the first time, Skanditrip was extremely friendly, helpful, patient, and prompt with us through the entire process. The level of service was top-notch throughout.

The condition of the vehicle was also excellent, and we had little to complain about our entire experience. Thank you for giving us a very memorable holiday experience on our first visit to Scandinavia!

The service from Skanditrip is very good. Various questions before the motorhome hire were always answered quickly and competently. Special requests (rental from Sunday to Thursday) could be accommodated (in June - off-season). The motorhome was brand new, so we were the first renters. As soon as we landed in Gothenburg, Eva Oscarsson provided us with information on how to get to the motorhome rental location and picked us up by car from the bus station. The welcome could not have been friendlier! We can highly recommend Skanditrip!

Everything was as described. The mobile home was in very good condition and since we booked the full package also well equipped for us flying in. Transfer from the airport and back was well organised. Return was done in less than five minutes. A very good service, we will come again.

The renting process was smooth and easy.
We had to wait at the airport since taxi was forgotten...
The explanations were clear.
The camper was clean (the grill was forgotten)
The technical box was useless except WIFI
The procedure to give back the camper was smooth as well.

Great support, always good and helpful advices, immediate answers, nothing to complain about.

The motorhome was as well in a good condition, all the equipment one needs!

The Mobilhome was great!
We just once needed help and it wasnt easy to reach one....

Everything was ready when we arrived at SkandiTrip station. Instructions easy and completely.
Answer to questions during the trip by mail came immediately.
We had a new mobilhome (3000km), kitchen equipment is very good!

We got a nice campervan (almost new).
Questions to the rental company were quickly answered. When we once needed Support, the call was immediately picked up.
The pick-up location of the campervan is on a parking site w/o fix buildings. That‘s unusual but does not matter. Best to go there by Taxi.
We highly recommend Skanditrip.

Very professional (family)business. Warm welcome, and good explanation. I ordered a "small" campervan, and I got a (free) upgrade to their "largest" mobilhome. Nice surprise ;-). Taxiservice from and to the airport worked perfect as well.

The camper van was new, in good condition and very nice. The initial cleaning was not great and some of the window blinds didnt work which wasnt great. Ran out of AdBlue when I had been told that it was full. Wasnt met with a particularly friendly guy when phoned to speak about this and the associated warning lights that had illuminated.
Other than that all was really good and I can recommend these caravans.
