I ordered some Birkenstocks from Country Attire in APRIL. They were far too small, so I sent them back. For months, I waited for my refund and received nothing. After chasing, a rep Abid Miah from Country Attire, wrote back:

We are pleased to share with you that BrandAlley has bought certain assets of Internet Fusion Group, the parent company of (website).

During this period of change, warranty claims can no longer be processed or refunds actioned.Internet Fusion Group Limited, Internet Fusion Limited, Surfdome Shop Limited, Country Attire Limited, Country Attire Holdings Limited and Newtyle Trading Company Limited entered administration on 28 April 2023. Tony Wright and Alastair Massey of FRP Advisory Trading Limited were appointed to act as joint administrators.

The affairs, business and property of the companies are being managed by the joint administrators, who act as agents and without personal liability.

The aforementioned companies are no longer trading, and the websites of these companies are not currently operational. For customers who have recently made orders that have not yet been delivered, we have been unable to fulfil these orders and those customers concerned should seek recovery of their monies through a Section 75 of the Credit Consumer Act claim or through a chargeback claim. Please contact your card provider in order to lodge such a claim.

For customers wishing to process the return of goods previously purchased, we can accept those returns but are not in a position to refund the cost of those goods. I'm sorry but why is the onus on me? I have been chasing this with my bank since April now and I am still out of pocket.

I have ordered long puffer for 600 EUROS in February 2023, and did not received it. I requested Customer Services of Attire Country and Internet Fusion LTD, long chats, no result… They told me that they were unable to send my money back and asked me to claim money through my bank. After 4 months of constant letters to them, I have finally asked my Bank to claim my money back as a fraud. I have sent all m’a les, orders etc. I have got my money back on my account totally 2 weeks ago.

It’s disgusting to take money from customers!!! Country Attire is a complete SCAM and FRAUD company.

Be aware. Total scam. They won’t refund you if you return an item.

Returned my product, and no refund yet. When I email their customer service Im told they are not issuing refunds at this time. So I’ve paid for goods, returned them and I’m not entitled to a refund? I should’ve been informed that prior to ordering…

It was great, I have purchased a lot of expensive stuff and everything went always well. Unfortunately it doesn't exist anymore and with the new site it is almost impossible to brows around. They only ship only within the UK now, so sad end.

Please keep well away from this company made a return and didn’t get a refund unable to contact them after numerous attempts this as been going on for months

Have ordered before with no issue, in fact have been impressed with the service prior to now. Ordered a £500 jacket which didn’t fit. Sent back the same day it was received unaware they were in the middle of being taken over - returned the item via the prepaid label, it was received by them 2 days later and after waiting for a couple of weeks, I chased it only to be told they weren’t issuing refunds! All they need to do is tell Klarna they’ve received it back so they can update things. Going round in circles with them. Absolute joke.

ABSOLUTE SCAM. I sent an item back (within a few days of receiving it) but Country Attire saying they are unable to refund me! So I have no item and no refund- completely unacceptable. AVOID.

I have issue with a return one item from my order.
The product arrived quickly so no issue there! but with returns is another story.
I did not received and return label or invoice inside the package so when I need it to return an item I couldn’t.
There website just gives an instructions which is address and you have to return it to your cost.
Anyway that’s not the real problem I cant print a label or anything to return the item and when I call the costomer service no one answers the phone. I have email them couple of times and no response. So my money are in the bin!
I will never use this company again.
Now I’m worried that if I return the item at my cost I will not get refund is 108.79 so is a lot.
So disappointed.

I am having the same issue with this company as the previous 1 star reviews. I sent the item back with the label provided 3 weeks ago patiently waiting for my refund. When I tried to contact them there wasn’t anyone who could help. I finally got a message through their chat that Country attire no longer trading and is now part of Brand alley. All the returned goods won’t be refunded by them and us the customers should claim it under Consumer law or as charge back on our credit cards.
Absolute joke and yes they are scammers! AVOID!
