I bought a Miele WCG370WCS in late february 2022. So today it doesn't have even 4 years. As I was doing a washing machine today, a sudden continuous peep displaying a 'Waterproof' error suddenly start. Basically that happens when there is some water in the bottom of the machine. After trying tilting it and draining the water and reseting the error, I start another program and I can clearly listen like water is being freely poored insde the box.
No other way to fix it that servicing the machine, what would be 2700DKK. So I proceded to open the machine myself. What I found is that the dark tube/hose going from the back top entry of the machine to water dispensing unit was completely out/free of the on the entry to water dispensing unit on top of the soap-drawer. Funny, there is a fast ring on the entry of the hose from the back of the machine, but NONE, not even a simple plastic zip that would have prevented that getting out from the water dispensing unit. And of course, I could see that this lack of safety assembly was also lacking in may other hose's ends.
Not implementing such a simple and low cost safety measure in the assembly of a washing machine that you selled on average for 10K DKK it really makes me consider if the supposed label of 'quality brand' and 'long-life' in your products it is really deserved.
The sad thing is that if I would have not opened it myself and just called service, aside from costed me 2700 DKK I would have never discovered the real fault of the issue.

There is a rust on the lower basket of the super expensive dish washer. I called customer service and they offered help to order a new one for just 930 kr. In the shop I was told that Miele is aware of this, and that it was a factory failure in the production. They still did not replace it free of charge nor they gave me discount. Such a disappointment
Extremely disappointing support, unjustified charges, and alarming lack of leadership
As a long-time Miele customer, I am deeply frustrated by my recent experience with the KMDA 7272 cooktop and its persistent odor issues. Despite using all recommended filters and following all instructions, the problem continues—a fact that is well-documented on Miele’s own website.
What stands out even more than the product flaw is the complete lack of competent leadership at Miele. Throughout my correspondence, I was constantly rerouted to different employees who seemed to have no decision-making authority or accountability. Responses felt copy-pasted and dismissive, with nobody willing or able to truly address my concerns. Even when I specifically asked to speak directly with someone in charge, my requests were ignored, and I was forced to deal with a revolving door of representatives who simply quoted the same rigid policies and threatened debt collection.
Instead of providing real customer support, Miele insisted on sending a technician—despite this being a well-known product limitation, not user error or a defect. As predicted, the visit was pointless, offered no new information, and did nothing to solve the issue. Miele then invoiced me for this unnecessary service and refused to remove the charge, showing no willingness to take responsibility for their own product's shortcomings.
This experience clearly reflects a company with poor leadership, little oversight, and no control over its employees. No one at Miele seems empowered to resolve issues, offer real solutions, or demonstrate basic accountability. It feels like the organization is running on autopilot—preoccupied with billing, not helping customers.
In summary:
Miele refuses to acknowledge or take responsibility for a widely recognized product issue.
Support is ineffective: employees are powerless and unresponsive, and leadership is entirely absent.
I was charged for a useless technician visit, despite the root cause being a flaw in the product's design.
Communication was defensive, dismissive, and lacked any genuine customer care.
Sadly, this experience has destroyed my trust in Miele. If you expect premium service and accountability to match a premium price, look elsewhere. I can no longer recommend Miele and will certainly reconsider any future purchases.
Bad experience with their service and overall feedback to customer.
I have an old Miele dishwasher report failure and their technician came and checked, then he told me the best solution is to replace the dishwasher with a new one. He also promised me their sales department will contact me within 2-3hours, and then the service fee will be deducted from the new purchase. The date was on Thursday 7th of November. I waited the whole day and even tried to contact them but they told me it has to be through a different sales department and gave me the phone number. I then tried many times on Friday and next Monday to call them, but the number just cannot be reached. I have been waited one week since I booked their service one week before and then waited another 4 days only for a call! I am sure I can not wait any longer.
Finally I ordered the Miele dishwasher from another channel and try to discuss with them to get my credit back. Since I am still buying the same brand and I think it is fair for them, that they should have the price for their low efficient work flow.
From their feedback below, it seems there is no link between the service department and their sales department at all.
“Thank you for reaching out.
In relation to invoice 2001443064 we are continuously unable to meet your request.
The main reason being that from our notes this machine is 14 years old. Subsequently your warranty will have expired.
From the assessment of the technician there were several issues, and the machine was deemed unfit for repair. This both parties agreed on as per. invoice summary.
We ask for your understanding.
If the above should rise any questions, you are more than welcome to contact us on the telephone number +45 43271310 or by e-mail.”
Of course I paid my invoice as a lesson. But hope all the others can learn from it. Probably the best solution is just buy a new one instead of waiting and hoping and being disappointed at last.

I booked an engineer visit for 22/01/24, took the day off work to be at home for the engineer, recieved a text at 8:21 that morning to say the engineer wouldn’t be able to attend, complete waste of a day that I could have been working and earning money (I can send you the bill Miele). My phone then broke the next day so I was without a contact number. Any Miele emails to me go straight in to junk. Unbeknownst to me, Miele went ahead and booked another visit for an engineer to attend my property on 3/2/24 (a day which I was not at home) and despite receiving no confirmation from me whatsoever about this appointment then apparently turned up at my property (unable to gain access because, you know, I was away and never booked the appointment) and then sent me the bill (£170) for not being there for the engineer! I’ve emailed back and fourth with multiple Miele employees explaining the situation expecting that of course due to the circumstances and the fact that I DID NOT BOOK THE APPOINTMENT that Miele would apologise for the mix up and retract the invoice. But no, they have instead sent a letter demanding payment for the visit. Absolutely appalling customer service. Awfully overpriced and faulty products I will be steering well clear of Miele in future and won’t touch their products with a barge pole!

Dishwasher rack was getting rusty after only 2.5 years of usage. I have been thinking it might only one spot, but 1 year later, it seems like more spots have developed and the white paint started to develop rust underneath.
I contacted Miele service and they promptly offered to replace for free the racks. I was shocked to see that it costs approx 8000 dkk for 3 new racks(but I didn’t have to pay). I hope the new ones will last longer as the cost of them seems unreal :)
Thanks for the help!

Dear Miele, your reputation for excellence and customer-centricity has been shattered in my eyes. What was supposed to be a simple repair turned into a shocking revelation of profit over customer care. Allow me to share my recent encounter that has left me questioning everything I once believed about your brand.
At the end of my tenancy, the touchscreen of my landlord's Miele oven faltered when regulating the temperature. Although these things can happen to appliances that have already served diligently over the past 7 to 10 years, I was prepared to cover the repair costs. I agreed with my landlord to bear the expenses of fixing it. But, oh boy, was I in for a surprise!
The repair bill left me dumbfounded. A staggering 18,000 DKK was the "reduced" amount after my landlord's negotiations. Shockingly, the initial quote was a jaw-dropping 30,000 DKK! This wasn't a repair; it was a highway robbery.
What baffles me more than the exorbitant bill is the missed opportunity for customer satisfaction. The service technician never mentioned the option of replacing the oven, which would have been a more cost-effective solution given Miele's own prices in Denmark. Instead, it seemed like a desperate attempt to squeeze as much money as possible out of a tenant's pocket, who now seems to be a loyal Miele customer.
Miele, I used to be your staunch advocate. My home used to be filled with your appliances, and I proudly recommended your brand to friends and family. But this one experience has shattered my faith in your commitment to customers. With this ordeal, you've lost not just a loyal customer but also a brand ambassador.
Your claims of "listening to customers" and "delighting them" feel like empty words now. The gulf between what your website boasts and the reality I faced is disheartening. Miele, you've lost touch with the essence of true customer-centricity.
As I look ahead, I know that my hard-earned money will never again support your brand. The cumulative impact of lost purchases over my lifetime due to this single incident could well surpass that 2,500 EUR. When friends and family seek my advice, I'll steer them clear of Miele. It's game over for our once cherished relationship.
I'll share this experience with my network as a reminder to all brands. Customer loyalty is earned through genuine care, transparency, and value, not through exploiting people's trust.

Repeatedly bad service.
Their coffee machine makes fantastic coffee but I have now had two machines which have both broken. I have only bad experience with their service in that relation.

We bought this washing machine for around 15000 DKK last week and it has been one of our most disappointing purchases lately.
The machine says to fit 9 killos but thats only for towels and sheets for all the rest it requires you to put 2-4 killos!!! iMiele store assistants recommended us this machine knowing that we’re a family of 4 with a lot of washing needs.
I so wish we could return this product

We have over the last 10 years spend more than 300.000 dkk on Miele equipment. Within 10 years we have replaced the dishwasher after 3 years, refrigerator after 4 years, washing-machine - now the 3 machine in 10 years.
To be honest, how can Miele talk about - good quality, last week when the washing-machine had a display mistake first - it was because of hose that did not have trap on - with 1600/min. How can you not add a strip on a hose.
All Miele have to say is, we are so sorry you are having this bad experience and here is the bill.
Think twice before you buy MIELE its not what it use to be - 25 years ago they had quality - today it's cheap as can be

Their washing mashing set for “wool” shrank ALL my expensive wool garments that were in that washing. Didn’t happen with other machines only this crappy brand.
Bought a dishwashing machine from these guys for over a 1000 dollars (8500kr).
Now, 5 months later, it's throwing an error and so it won't do the dishing.
First of all... broken after 5 months? It's a very expensive machine. Come on.
I call up the service today - and she's like "sorry but we only got a free slot for you the second of march" -
---that's like 10 days from now, or so?
Why?...
You guys are quite big - you seriously have like one guy running around the country fixing all your broken machines?
We're 5 people with 3 kids - so it's very disappointing and actually quite annoying when the machine is that expensive.
...seriously, can't people just do their job properly?
I'm wondering if their machines are so bad, that miele is always busy running around fixing them.
10 days? I'm seriously shaking my head at you.
There must be SOMEONE in this industry who actually cares for their costumers?
I'm really tired of writing these 'bad' reviews of these electronic giants, it's really sad... Seriously, can't anyone just do it as it's supposed to be done? Truly distasteful.
Avoid this brand at any cost. We bought a fridge and washing machine from this brand with the cost of 14000 Dkk fridge and 8000 Dkk washing machine after only 5 years, both not working. And even thou some of their products have technical factories fail they avoid fixing it for you. Honestly, some brad only earn money by branding. You are one hundred times better off with chines brand. At least pay 10% of that money and work more than 4-5 years.
