5 MONTHS NO CORRECTLY MADE PRODUCT

On 26 June 2021 we ordered over curtains and under curtains. €1163.76 within that cost was a charge of €37.50 for their measurement person to come to our house for correct measurements.

We waited until 23 July 2021 for that measurement to be taken. The 26th of July we got the email it was in their system, from there their normal delivery time is 4 weeks minimum to 8 weeks maximum due to covid, then we would have our curtains in home.

8 September 2021 they called that our over curtains were ready for pick (6 weeks) up, but wasn't even showing the under curtains were being made yet. We went to get our over curtains, 11 September 2021, we got home and installed them 1 of 2 sets was 30cm too short in the width. We called the store immediately, as their employee or sub contractor took the measurements! WE paid them to do this measurement to prevent this directly, we even added an extra month to our wait to prevent what occurred. That means €37.50 for a service that ended in, exactly what it's set up prevent. Please keep this in mind!

We called the store we ordered the curtains from. They had no solution to offer, but for us to email them picture and someone would call back....a week went by no word on a solution.

On 14 September 2021 they called and said the other set of curtains were there, we drove from Tilburg where we live, to get them...to be clear- for this purchase of: €1163.76 we paid a deposit that went towards the total price...€365.00, then when we picked up Curtains on 11 September we paid €429.11 totaling €794.11. Leaving a remaining 369.65 to be paid, the cost of the under curtains or the set that was incorrect. When we arrived they wanted us to pay the bill in full even though there were issues with 1 of 2 sets of over curtains and we still hadn't been contacted on a solution for this issue yet.

When you pay in full, you're legally saying everything is right and you are satisfied with your order. Because from the date of close out purchase you legally only have so many days to complain for corrections, return, or replacements, 14 days. When we refused to pay total bill in full, until the issue with the other set was settled, they refused to give us the under curtains!

We still had part of the order waiting for solution, what wasn't being agreed to be paid yet was the incorrect set. HOWEVER YOU AS A COMPANY WEREN'T WILLING TO SEE HOW WE HAD ALREADY TECHNICALLY PAID FOR WHAT WE WERE THERE TO GET AT THAT MOMENT, AS THE OVER HALF WASN'T RIGHT!

We as customers suffered the consequences in time, gas and more time with no product. We pay you for your time, what did you give us for ours exactly?

We called the head office on 14 September 2021. When she informed us on other curtains and we asked about their solution, she suggested doing that.

They called us back on 23 of September! They were going to remake the curtains. Cool, but there was no time frame given, no rush, no priority to the order, no discount offered - nothing not even sorry, he didn't even seem bothered they wouldn't give us the other portion of our order until this correction was complete!

On 5 November they left a voice mail the curtains were ready. So from 23 September to 5 November we waited for the curtains again. (6 weeks) for an incorrect order that had waited for 5 months in total. No rush was put on these at all. No discount offered, not even a return for the cost of the measurement we paid for already. Which should have been automatic considering it's the cause. The store said no to even taking that cost off.

The head office-only willing to give €50.00 off total cost of bill. So that means €37.50 pays for incorrect measurements that were taken that caused all of this comes off that €50.00! €12.50 is what is left to reimburse us for 5 months, multiple calls of direct time spent on them, gas 4 trips. TIME/ENERGY/GAS=MONEY we haven't come to complete this purchase because we don't agree with your forceful accept this €12.50 discount or nothing fix. We don't agree with it. 10% off total bill sounds better! Plus taking off €37.50 for your failed service of measuring.

YOU AS A BUSINESS CLEARLY THINK THIS IS STANDARD, IN-GOOD FAITH and CUSTOMER SATISFACTORY OPERATING TACTICS! I say this in full confidence. ATROCIOUS IS WHAT IT IS!

Terrible service

Wish I could rate 0. This company easily promised you that they can make the curtains of our needs at the initial visits. We paid the deposits, waited for a month, and then just received a simple email saying that they are unable to deliver, that's it. Not even with a decency to make a call, and also said they won't refund the deposits. How's such a company still standing there?!

Horrible experience

Horrible experience ! We ordered the curtains in April and still did not receive them in October ! Waiting more than 6 months is insane. We will never come back to Roobol again.

Roobol - Over Rated and Under Whelmed!

Roobol were recommended to us and we found the shop assistant Kim really knowledgeable and extremely helpful, but that is where the excellent service ended! We ordered over €20,000.00 of carpet, PVC, plints, curtains and blinds, the ordering was the easy part!! After that is was downhill....we had a visit from the most miserable and unfriendly man to collect the exact measurements, whereupon he made changes from the recommendations we had made in the shop. We ended up with almost the same amount of carpet over and were overcharged for the underlay and fitting. We received the wrong plints. The carpet was badly fitted and we have two long joins across our front room floor. The plints were badly fitted and two have now fallen off! They were also badly kitted, I am refitting them myself! We were overcharged for the fitting of the plints by the fitter on the day! The fly screen door only has the handle on the inside as it was incorrectly measured by the miserable and unhelpful man. The only things that appear to still be OK are the curtains and the blinds!! I spent many hours, recalculating our estimates and invoices and along with photographic evidence making a complaint to head office only to receive a minimal response and a small refund in acknowledgement of the overcharge by the plint fitter, with no acceptance of the complete lack of customer service, totally inadequate recompense for the over measurement of the carpet, and no compensation or apology for the additional expense and stress caused and for the total and absolutely sub-adequate fitting and finishing. I am appalled with the lack of customer service, the lack of care and the absolute abysmal lack of quality in the tradesmen and fitters Roobol use. I will certainly never recommend Roobol to anyone.

Very bad customer service

Very bad customer service. They’re only interested in selling but after you have signed the purchase agreement they basically don’t care anymore. They didn’t deliver our curtain rails, that we had paid for, we had to make several phone calls and were told they were too busy to help us. We spent about 15,000€ on curtains and carpets, such a mistake! The curtains were not sewed the way we ordered them either but they refused to change them

Completely disaster! Feel cheated

Completely disaster. The service is so appalling. We trusted the nice sales lady at the store but she charged us a grand total of $1300 for carpet which we never received. First she asked us to buy a primer and do it ourselves as it was simply very easy - about 15 minutes. What a giant lie! It took us over 10 hours to remove the old carpet and to remove the old glue, we had to borrow a special gun from GAMMA and otherwise we had to prime the stairs. What we did not expect was the horrific treatment from the contractor which they sent to us. First he was downright rude and ill-manners and simply refused to lay the carpet saying the primer was not well done. Yes, you need to earn money but that is not the service we signed up for. We wanted purely to change the carpets and now despite waiting 3 weeks and spent over $1300 EUROS! We are still being insulted by the contractor and the sales manager who tells us we have to pay $65 each time we cancel the appointment. WE DID not Cancel the appointment, Your contractor was simply uncooperative. Anyway buyers must beware the price is simply too exorbitant for the zero and negative service rendered. BEWARE!!

Extremely lack of honesty & bad service

Extremely lack of honesty and professionalism. Only keen on sales but zero and negative customer service. Sales Service is so appalling the customer despite paying an exorbitant amount of money - almost triple of what normal carpet would cost is sadly the worse possible. They made us wait three weeks and lied that it was easy for us to prime out own stairs within 15 mins but it took us more than 10 hours to remove and prime the stairs on our own. When the horrible contractor arrived, he said it was not done well and refused to install the carpet and said we will have to pay $65 for new appointment. Overall, an absolutely horrendous experience to have to pay$1300 for nothing. 3 weeks and still No stairs. Buyers beware!!

Super bad company!!! Don't buy from them!!

I ordered the laminate floor , they scheduled 4 days later for laying the laminate. Upon laying day, the worker didn't tell me the plinten doesn't fit even I was at home .. he placed the wrong plinten anyway, without giving advice. I was really shocked when I saw the outcome of the wrong plinten ! Will you do this too if this is your own house ????

I decided to do the plinten by myself. Never by then again . But One day later , I found the floor is not flat at one location , I touched and felt a few momoents and found out , they left some small bolt or things under the floor!!!! What a rediculous work!! I called and a guy on the phone refused to speak English . I asked him to transfer me to English speaking colleague. But he hanged me off .. what a bad service !!!

Later I called the store , they scheduled a service ,but I have to wait 4 weeks!!! 4 weeks!!! They don't care about it because they got the money already. Rediculous !!!
I called again to the head office , they said 3 weeks later it's possible . What a joke !! Still, I have to wait 3 weeks.

Finally on the day of service to check the floor , I was asked by roobol to wait from 14:00-17:00!" But at 16:00. I still hear nothing ! I called again , the worker said, they come at 18:30. I waited half day but they didn't come !!! In the end , they said they are busy , can come another time ? What a bad service !!!! I'm really angry off!

Does not keep agreements! No respect for the customer!

Despite the firendliness in the store, Roobol has the ABSOLUTE WORST customer servuce at its headquarters, wher orders are being handled and fulfilled! WArning, stay away! Ordrs are easily very late, and not only there is no apology and no compensation but the attitude is that being 3 months late is absolutely normal and that it's a favor to the customer that it's at least being looked at. All of this while they keep your advance payment which will NOT be rturned if you would like to go elsewher due to their delays. Roobol might look like a big company with history on the market, but it is actually being run by very unprofessional and incompetent werkers that kniw nothing about custormer service and have not intention in delivering a pleasent and qualitative experience. Respect for the customer, custoer's time and customer's money means NOTHING in Roobol
