Do Evri store things in puddles?

Ebay order. Parcel a book looked like Evri had been storing it in a puddle (not just dropped in a puddle but kept in water) courier didn't knock or ring bell just left outside door (not raining) and then they ran away Sticker on parcel delivered by PK Logistics? On Evri tracking system it states out for delivery 7:56 and then delivered 7:59? As I live in a top floor flat that means the delivery company must be based in the carpark!

Mount Street Printers = Class Act

I ordered something on Amazon having taken my money they spent 70 days making excuses and promises but never actually dispatching the item which they said was in stock. On cancellation by Amazon I ordered with Mount Street Printers 2 working days later I had the item.

Customer Service This Bad Actually Takes Effort

Soon the 14th June 2024 I ordered an in stock item for my brothers birthday from Amazon, they then showed two other items associated with the first item so being a gullible mark I ordered those as well. The money for the first item was taken from my account on the 14th and the delivery date was given a July 18th.
By the 13th of July I have the two associated items (which are of no use without the main item) but not the main item, which at this point hasn’t even been dispatched, so I contact Amazon on the phone and I am told that they guarantee that the item will be with me by the 18th I even get an email confirming all this.
On the 18th the delivery estimate on the order suddenly changes 5th – 22nd of August! I get no email telling me this, but this is now the dates shown on the order. So I once again contact Amazon on the phone, they are ever so sorry and will expedite the dispatch and as a sign of goodwill and how sorry they offer £30 compensation. I really just want the item but compensation seems good?
The email I then receive having talked over the phone doesn’t mention expediting the dispatch and the compensation is now being referred to as a refund?, it does say this will be done within the next 3 hours. 24 hours later no change on the expected dispatch dates no compensation and I realize the Amazons customer service is really a lets just kick the gullible punter service.
Customer service this bad actually takes effort, getting that dissonance between what’s stated in a phone call, an email and on website costs, it’s far cheaper if they match.

The Tortoise and the Hare

There were two books that I wanted Amazon cancelled, Blackwells cancelled, Abebooks wanted silly amounts of money.
I had not heard of SciFier but gave them a chance, excellent communication, excellent price but slower delivery than we have become used to in this time of fast faster fastest, but they provided two books that the other main sellers could not provide me. A real case of the Tortoise and the Hare, and the Tortoise won spectacularly.

Hats off to the staff at Tesco Dover

Hats off to the staff at Tesco Dover, today I managed to drop a ready meal at the checkout. It basically exploded tomato sauce on hitting the ground over the side of the checkout over the floor over the trolley and over me. The staff handled the situation speedily and happily, making what for me was an embarrassing situation less so. Promptly and efficiently everything cleaned up and sorted out.

British Gas can't communicate their changes

British Gas changed my account number and all their banking details didn't tell me and stopped sending me bills? But they blame me for not paying my bills. Please note the reference number I have used is my old one as British Gas have still not told me my new one.
Part 2
So the reply from British Gas on a complaint that they “can't communicate their changes” is to tell me to join Twitter or Facebook?!? even though they have all my details to actually send me a Bill and their new banking details. I give up I’ve spent too long on the phone to people who could help me but didn’t, only to be told that British Gas now communicate on Twitter and Facebook.

An Envelope from British Gas great I think they’ve finally pulled their finger out and resent me the lost bill, not exactly rocket science is it, but no it’s a letter starting with the words “We’re really sorry you’re not happy” with a complaint reference number, but still no bill.

Blackwells 10+ copies really means maybe or maybe not.Blackwells site stated that they had…

Blackwells site stated that they had 10+ copies of the book which really mean's zip, nada, zilch, diddly squat, bupkis. How can you run a business if you don't know what stock you have or haven't got.
The reply I received reads:
Thank you for contacting Blackwell's by leaving us a Trustpilot review. Following on from my reply on Trustpilot, please accept our apologies for the delay in being able to supply this title to you. We have only just learned that there could be rights issues for the UK for this title but we are exploring whether this is the case and if we can get a copy, as one of our suppliers may have copies available again to order and we are trying to get a copy. If we are successful, we will update you further regarding this and thank you for your ongoing patience in awaiting further news.
Their follow up to this was to cancel the order.

So by all means use Blackwells I'm sure most of their stock must be real.

Lesson Learnt

The day after I ordered Rarewaves changed the details adding a month to when they would be able to provide the item, so I tried to cancel the order, they refused even thou it was Rarewaves that had changed the date by which they could provide the item ie they didn’t have it to sale to begin with! They are shoddy unprofessional and totally lacking in any idea of customer service. But it’s a lesson for me never to deal with them again.

Your order has arrived and an artist got paid. Not too shabby, huh?" However my order hasn't arrived so very shabby indeed. Their help pages defies the word help!

If you want to loose something then…

If you want to loose something then Fedex is the company for you.

Their system states that my parcel has been delivered however it hasn't. Their help pages are the opposite of what the word help means.

They take a bad situation and make it worse.

Rather untrustworthy.

Rather than deliver the parcel for 3 days it leaves their depot has a tour of Kent and goes back. Then they state on the website that delivery was attempted and a card left except delivery wasn't attempted and a card wasn't left. Actually on the 3rd day it didn't get a tour of Kent, if you look at the time it left their depot and the time of alleged delivery they must of fitted jet engines to their vans or be lying.
