Terrible communication, low quality service

Received an email today (March 5th, two months after the initial order was placed, and three weeks since the first review) informing me the 6 remaining hats they ordered from their supplier were also damaged and they would need to go with a different provider. I was given the option to go with the more expensive Otto or Richardson hats, which they would pay the difference on. My issue now is I have 6 hats of one style, and would need to order 6 hats of a different style, and present them to the parents who all paid the same amount for the hats I showed them when they purchased. I considered ordering 12 hats all from Otto, but I don't feel comfortable giving this company any more money. The communication never improved, and the apology wasn't genuine. I ordered 12 custom hats from a competitor, and will obviously not use them in the future..
Terrible communication. Didn’t find out there was an issue until I called 6 weeks after ordering. Was told there was a quality control issue and the remaining hats have been reordered. Won’t use again.
