I clicked to a booking by a mistake. After I noticed an email with confirmation, within two hours of the reservation, I notified the host and the Vrbo about the mistake. I was charged $8,300 for the reservation, I even wasn’t planning to attend… I contacted Vrbo multiple times about absurd situation. Manager agreed with me, took her a while to look into options. The final suggestion was to refund only $700 of their service fees, because the host disagrees to get the refund of 2 hour booking !!! Never again will I use Vrbo. No protection or customer service.
