When I was trying to write my tags on the last post, I attempted to copy-paste my special tag-friendly comma (‚) and it. It pasted an image of a spiral staircase? This wasn't on my clipboard. I've never seen this staircase before. What the fuck?
House Of Leaves zine!
It's a basic 8 page fold in way too big and it took me forever (I'd say about 30 hours over 3 months) and I'm so pumped about it. I beg of you, click on the pictures for quality.
All backgrounds are coloured ink + linocuts and some good old prints from actual leaves, then there's collage, collage from negative and film photographs I had from way back when I did a year in art school, also stitching and couloured pencil drawing. All texts by me as well. I had to repair an old typewritter my Dad had down in the basement just so I could type Johnny's bits :)) (so add another 10 hours for that).
My handwritting is terminally bad so I had a neat handed friend write the letters very small
It is unfortunatley too big and fragile to be scanned for reproduction but here's not very good pictures of the secret #8 that's on the other side of the fold :) - cat for scale.
