I purchased around five months’ worth…
I purchased around five months’ worth of NaturoBest prenatal vitamins and had them shipped to the Netherlands during winter. Unfortunately, when I opened them, many of the capsules had either liquefied or gone bad before I even had the chance to use them. (pictures attached - and this is only when I started taking photos!)
At first, I didn’t raise the issue and simply threw away the spoiled ones. However, after a friend reminded me of how important product safety is—especially while pregnant—I decided to contact NaturoBest directly just to tell them.
That’s when things went from disappointing to unacceptable:
Instead of investigating, the company immediately dismissed my concerns.
They claimed I must have purchased in summer and left the product in the heat—this was false, as it was shipped in winter and stored properly in a cool, dry environment, exactly as instructed on their packaging.
They later insisted the vitamins needed refrigeration, which is not mentioned anywhere on the packaging and again implied it was my fault for the faulty product.
They assumed I was located in Australia and didn’t even bother to even checked my order details to see it was delivered to the Netherlands.
Despite explaining the situation clearly, they told me there was nothing wrong with their product and refused to offer a refund.
Their only “solution” was a 20% discount on a future purchase, which is insulting considering the health implications and the fact that I would never buy from them again after such treatment.
I originally wasn’t even going to ask for a refund, I thought I was purely just trying to do the right thing by letting them know about their product. But after being spoken to so dismissively, incorrectly, and without care, I did requested one—and they still refused!
This entire experience has shown me two things:
There looks to be a serious stability issue with their product during shipping/storage - I can see from other review people have exactly the same issue.
Their customer service is unprofessional, dismissive, and unwilling to take accountability.
I would never recommend NaturoBest to anyone! Their products arrived unusable, and their customer service left me feeling gaslit and disrespected, I have NO DOUBT in my mind that if there is a response to this review they will most likely try and just gaslight me again instead of just simply refunding on a faulty product and apologising!
For something as important as prenatal vitamins, while you are pregnant - this is unacceptable. Save yourself the attitude, poor product and buy from someone else!
