I shipped 2 boxes one month after another. Both arrived in good condition. The first arrived one month after the ETA (total of 93 days) the 2nd box arrived 2 weeks later than the ETA. I find that Completely covering the box with packing tape secures the content and the box which could prevent theft. My frustration is the tracking, it was not really updating and contacting the Calgary office was challenging. They were not returning calls when the message left is about the whereabouts of the box. I was in Manila waiting for the box to arrive as I intended to use what was in the box but it arrived the day before I left the country. It was also disheartening to learn that I was not informed about their mini box promo, I could have taken advantage of it. I will need to forget this unfortunate event before dealing with them again.

They broke our coffee machine
They broke our coffee machine!
We trusted their service. We put our 3,000 AUD coffee machine in the box with lots of bubble wrap and additional support. Put fragile stickers all over the box and have it to Forex for shipping.
Our coffee machine arrived broken, because Forex had put the box upsidedown... multippe cracks, and it's also not working. We are still spending money with technicians to fix it.
Forex reply? "Not their responsibility, we should have packed it in the original box". Which we didn't have, because it was a 2nd hand purchase..
How did they resolve it? By giving us a $50 AUD voucher for our next shipment with them.
As if we would ever use their services again!

Box was picked up on 03 Jul and should have left our shores on 15 Jul (Australia).
After checking the tracking number, the box IS STILL SITTING in Sydney and won't leave till 29 Jul, and then another 8 week wait for it to travel VIA CHINA to get to the Philippines.
It seems as though the kept the box in a warehouse in Melbourne till they had a full load for road transport. 2 weeks wasted!!
For the money they are charging this is bordering on being a scam.
Tried to contact them via email and it now shows that the email contact is AI, nothing actually goes to a real agent. Sent the detailed email and the reply was "UQU" ....??? That's it, nothing else. Checked the email address details thoroughly and that's where I discovered it's all AI generated.
TL;DR: Use another company, this one is unreliable with extortionate prices and false timelines and only uses AI to reply emails.

Finally received the box (after threatening legal action) and the box arrived at our house on 25 Sep 25.
WTF does it take 4 weeks to move a 1x1x1m box (45kg) only 650kms? I imagined someone using a bicycle to carry this, but even that would not take 3 weeks.
Again, my suggestion...... there is another company in Australia that also delivers door-to-door to the Philippines, with a faster delivery at close to the same price as the completely useless, run by lazy Filipinos, company of ForexCargo.
No communication
order placed for boxes on April 10, 2025, for boxes. I was informed via SMS that delivery would be made as soon as possible. However, after waiting until April 27, 2025, with no update, I suggested picking up the order myself.
Upon arriving at the agreed location at the scheduled time, the agent was nowhere to be found, causing unnecessary inconvenience and frustration. This lack of communication and failure to fulfill the agreed-upon service is unacceptable. Going elsewhere....

STOP USING FOREX ESHIP! They are a scam. They raised their rate without even letting the consumer know. Their site rate is completely different than what they will quote you. They will quote you when they have your box and it is too late to get your box. They said that their shipping days was only 30 to 35 days! LIE! they took 60 days or more before they can deliver it to you. Agents are very unknowledgeable and very misleading. The site says that they load the box every 2 weeks, another LIE, my box stayed in their warehouse for 4 weeks before it was loaded and shipped out, when they arrived to port and to their warehouse on its destination, they took 2 to 3 weeks to delivery it. They are the most expensive shipping company with very poor service. I do not recommend this company. Find a different company with a better service and better rate who follows what their sites is advertising! As of today 01/16/2025 their rate is $4.43 per lb, 2 months ago it was only $2.89 based on their site and their site still says $2.89/lb. Run from this shipping company. I wish I could give them negative star, 1 star is still too much for them

If I can have a negative 5 review I would definitely give it a -5 . The box was picked up from my house I believe oct 7, 2024. Upland, California ) It is now New Year’s Eve and has not arrived. It says transferred to provincial depot since Dec 19 and has not updated . Misssed the box for Xmas and missed for new year. It’s taken almost 3 months . Horrible !
Box still not delivered.
Sent box in end of September and promised it would make it there before Christmas. Well this is after Christmas and still not received by family. Received in Philippines Dec 10 and still sitting in warehouse. Why not deliver it. So disappointed and they never left us a new box. They picked box up at 9-30PM in the rain as well. We sent 2 boxes to the Philippines from the UK on the 5th of May 2024. As of the moment today 30th of July and have not received the boxes yet. We always do this to save us the hassle of bringing odd sizes on the plane with us before we go on our flight. We have reach the Philippines on the 23rd of July unfortunately we have not received anything yet. After making a few phone calls to Forex both in the Philippines and in the UK, Forex agent has relayed conflicting information which does not help the issue rather making us anxious as we are going back to the UK on the 10th of July 2024. This is the first time we have experienced this issue and apart from giving us some bad feelings, we have recommended this to our friends in the UK community. I will be sending this review to Filipino publications on the UK for the other to be aware of the services Forex is offering, if the issue is not resolved in 2-3 days.

This review is for FOREX-BACOLOD. The DRIVER/COURIER won’t deliver our balikbayan boxes and was even asking additional money for DOOR TO DOOR delivery. Asked my family to wait for more than 7 hours but still not delivered. It happened twice already the same DRIVER/COURIER. They delivered other packages in the same area except ours. Hope FOREX CARGO will take action about this matter/behavior of their delivery personnel/DRIVERS.

I sent 6 jumbo boxes to my family in the Philippines last early October. Forex was claiming they should arrive before Christmas. The boxes arrived after Christmas. There are signs the boxes was opened. Items was re-arranged and some items are missing. I always packed the boxes with lots of tape and sealed the boxes properly with lots of tape. All of the items inside has name who they belong to. When the items reached my family all the name tag on the items were gone. Their employees are stealing items from the boxes.
From good to worst of the worst!
I have been using Forex, Northern Virginia for at least, if not more than 20 years and send at least 25+ boxes per year to help various unfortunate people in the Philippines.
About a couple of years or so, Forex was sold to another entity (Forex in CA?) and from then on, the service went to crap. Shipments door to door used to be 2 months but with the new owners, it's now 3+ months. The company does not care at all about their customers and just tells us what we want to hear and same goes with the chat, all the responses are so canned!
Here are a few examples on how terrible these new owners are:
1) I rushed to put together 3 grocery boxes and the boxes were picked up beginning of Sept. 2022. As of today Dec. 20th, the last update from the website is, Dec. 6th and location is South Korea. These boxes are meant for Christmas meals of 2 families.
2) First week of Aug. 2022, 5 boxes were picked-up and contained medicines. Actual date of delivery to the recipient was Nov. 26, 2022.
3) First week of June 2022, 5 boxes were picked-up and actual date of delivery to the recipient was Sept. 25, 2022.
Now regarding the staff, they are awesome, very helpful and always a pleasant experience hence the reason for the 1-star otherwise I would have given no or negative stars.
For anyone reading this review and know of a better and more reliable cargo company, please share any information. As for now, I will continue to search for another cargo company as I am really on the fence about giving Forex my business.

If only I could give a zero rating, that’s how bad the service is! We sent our box middle of August, but it still hasn't arrived! Funny because we are flying to the Philippines on Dec 10, so I guess we'll come first before the box arrives. There is even no assurance that the box will arrive before Christmas. Such a shame!!!

Forex Cargo UK couldn't care less about their customers. Their unreliability and conscious decision to not honour appointments on a whim shows no respect and integrity and does not deserve anyone's trust. A waste of time!
We have used Forex a couple of times…
We have used Forex a couple of times before and they were fine. We just ordered a new box to fill, and we got an e-mail asking us to call their driver, who is called Fernan. We did that, and were told, "We're not doing that area any more." Why on Earth couldn't they simply reply to our online request by telling us they don't service our area? Why do we need to call them to be told we are not welcome? And if a company in the south-east cannot cover an address in the south-east, it certainly doesn't bode well for their ability to serve other parts of the UK!
Very poor customer service
Very poor customer service. Up until now they can’t give me the details where my box is. They picked up my box Aug 26th, and I can’t still track my box in their website. The staff said because they haven’t entered it yet in the system. It’s been a month now, they don’t even give me update yet.
