How does your game meet GBJam's theme?
What's more unlucky than being on a gameshow where if you win you go to hell? Hardly anything!
Even worse: there's no way to lose, only to delay the inevitable!
In this game you will want to be as unlucky as possible by completing minigames (which are all themed around a lack of luck). This will decrease your LUCK, which determines the rewards on a game of chance. Earn enough HEAT and you'll win a one way trip to the hottest new place!

That was a neat premise! Well-communicated mechanics with charming art and a nice jaunty tune. I enjoyed myself!

With how long the game can last, I don't think the difficulty increases fast enough. It gets a bit stale after a while.

That ringing sound is quite loud; it regularly peaks the audio above -0 dB.

All-in-all, good work! Congratulations on the submission!

It took a bit to figure them all out, but once you do it's hard to lose them. They could all do like the scratch ticket and get harder.

It's fantastic from an artistic perspective. I found it a bit difficult to understand some of the mini-games at first, given the time limit, but once I got the hang of them, everything was great. It's funny that you have to be unlucky to win, though! Well done!

Nice game with mini games, I like the sound and music.

I went from trial 9 to trial 5?  I think the idea is good, but I am not really sure how to play beside 'do the unlucky thing'. The idea seems solid, but some options didn't make sense in the time I had to process them

Also, the 'bell' sound was REALLY highpitch and hurt my ears a bit.  I think what is here is a good start

Really good game, enjoyed the loop of it, if it had just a little more games it would be perfect.

I really enjoyed the graphics and audio design. Felt like an actual Gameboy game!

Fun game I love the idea of doing the unlucky thing to win these warioware like minigames.

The minigames were easy to read and understand immediately, very elegant design!
If this is going to get updated post-jam, it'd be interesting to see more variety in the minigames.

Very solid entry, congrats!

Good idea making a warioware-esque game where you try to become unlucky!  The minigames were all well implemented, the sound and music are effective.  I was a bit confused about my goal at first, but it seems I just want to avoid getting heat for as long as possible by winning the games? I might've gone with 3 measures of heat to lose, and make sure there's always at least one heat on the board, as I think the game goes on a bit long currently.

Nice job!

nice list of mini games XD

a bit hard to understand for some mini games because of different unlucky culture I guess?

but I learned some new unlucky stuff culture, so I'm quite happy ^^

the game kept getting harder but if I'm lucky I could get into 11 trials while still in 2 heats XD

I guess this game will be fun when you playing it again after you've learned all the rules

This was fun, very reminiscent of warioware! my favorite minigames were the card picking game and the mirror smashing one(i think the mirror smashing one would be super fun if there were different styles of mirror that could appear to try and trick you). I found the UI a bit confusing, I didn't notice where heat was building so I didn't know how close to losing I was

Great idea, trying to accumulate unluck to avoid winning.

The only think is that I was in trial #12 and I was with 0 of luck, and I keep it like that fo a couple of trials, the game ends wen you heat?

At the beginning that took me a couple of try to understand the mini games, but then I realize the objective, the one that was challenging was the card picker and the date picker, clever options. The others minigame I got enough previous time to see the answer and rush the correct pick.

But it was made in 10 days so, it was great, the art was nice

Nice game
