Are you sure you're creating a custom character (and not using the default one)? Unless you manually change the name yourself at the start of the game, you'll be called "Angel Mentior" by default.
Also!! Please be aware that 14DWY isn't supported on third-party apps like JoiPlay (since I'm only developing it for PC and Mac), so I can't offer any help with that.
