Hey there, thanks a lot for trying out the demo and for the review and suggestions. Keep in mind this was "just" a demo, there's still A LOT more to come in the full release and also there's been quite an amazing amount of improvements and changes. I was just starting learning UE5 at the point I was making the demo for a few months and I am still learning so I hope you guys will be patient with me and come along on the journey.

I don't know man.. Honestly, I don't know. Keep in mind I'm just one guy working on this game and I'm not working 24/7 (even if I wish I could), and I've had to learn Unreal Engine from 0. Last year I had 0 gamedev knowledge and I'm still learning. Hopefully it will be finished soon, but honestly I don't know.

That's awesome to hear, man. Not the money part, the fact that you guys are excited to play. I can't wait for the release either! I've taken like 2 weeks off for the holidays, in almost a year lol. I can't say I've been constantly working on FM, but I've had to learn A LOT about Unreal Engine..

Multiplayer is far from my mind right now, I'm focusing only on the storymode.

There will be at least 5 chapters, but that may change. No characters other than Michael, it's his story.

I am really happy you're excited for it, but I really don't want to release an unfinished and unpolished game. Of course there will be bugs and stuff after release that I will need to fix, but at least I want the story to be complete.

I agree 100% and I don't intend on competing with anyone, I'm trying to make my game as best as I possibly can. It sucks that it takes this long and I'm sorry about it, but like I've said before, I'd rather postpone the release and make it as good as it can be, than release a rushed unfinished piece of trash just for the money. I'm pouring my passion into this game and I hope you guys will be able to tell.

Yes, of course it's still coming out... I am working as hard as I can on it. It will release when I feel it is ready, which it isn't yet. I thought I'd be able to release by 28th october but I wasn't happy with the state of the game at that point. It has changed and grown so much since then that I can hardly believe it.

The full game will probably have over 3-4 hours of gameplay, I think, not sure. Anyway, the game is ready when I think it's ready. If you guys don't wanna wait for it anymore, I understand. I really appreciate the support until now anyway.

Hi. I've posted about this on my steam page. I do not have a release that, since I've failed to meet the last one. I'm just taking my time with the game, don't want to rush it.

Well this is awkward... I'm really sorry, brother, but the release has been delayed. The scope and scale of the game has increased a lot and it will take some more time. I know it's very dissapointing, but I've figured I should take my time with it. I'd rather delay it than release some rushed garbage.

As for your complaints, you'll be glad to know they're all fixed in the full game.

By the way, you CAN open the menu, but it's on the M key instead of Escape. I've added the possibility to alter every key in the settings though, so you guys can customize them.

Yeah, I plan to release the full game on 28th october, for the steam halloween event.

Also I plan to make it available for consoles too, but that's gonna come after the PC release.

Well honestly I did use the AI to generate a blank "medical form" and I filled in the details myself (I kinda hate using AI but it's still a useful tool..). Only because I couldn't find a mental health evaluation form online that I was happy with.

Honestly, and this might be shameful to admit, I have done close to no research on PTSD. I just went with what basic knowledge I had on PTSD and just followed my heart as how to best represent it in my game. I thought about how I would feel if I was in Michael's shoes and went with that. I am really happy to hear some of you guys say that I managed to convey that feeling accurately, without insulting or belittling actual PTSD victims.

I'm sorry I couldn't provide you with actual research to help you out with your presentation, but if you have any question I'd be happy to answer them. 

I hope the full game will live up to your expectations as well.

Hey man, how are ya?  I am a very small creator as well, so you don't have to specify that haha!

Honestly, it doesn't tie into the game at all, other than the PTSD the prisoners suffered from the experiment. It is just an easter egg and a way to bring a little attention to the horrors of what the piece of shit communists did to my people. The faces you see on the walls are the political and mostly religious prisoners of the experiment, a lot of which are saints today. I'm really happy somebody actually looked into it!

Hey brother, thanks for the heads up. The head box has been completely removed in the latest steam demo update, it was giving me too many problems. So I did know about that one. I didn't know about the fact that running too soon means the demon doesn't chase, so I really appreciate it.

Hey man, sorry to hear that. What do you mean by "box with the head"? If you're talking about that small nightstand that you have to pick the lock of, it has been removed in the latest version of the demo, give that a try if you want.
