Hahahaha! Got us there! I guess every society still has room for improvement.

Yeah, that's above the minimum requirements, so it shouldn't be an issue. I saw that you just joined the playtester discord; thank you for that! I'll dive in and keep working on the problem over there.

Hm, that’s interesting. Makes it more likely that it’s an issue with the Mac portion of the market build.

What version of Mac OS are you running?

Hmmm, that's very odd! A cursory search shows that it doesn't appear to be an issue with new versions of ren'py, so I'll check with the other players in my playtester discord to see if they've run into the same issue.
Sorry to ask something basic, but have you done the usual: redownload, restart the computer and try opening again? Either way, thank you for reporting that you were having this problem!

Thank you so much! I’m proud that Pinup helped you get into VNs, and please feel free to open it up and look at the code! It might be a little on the messy side, and I definitely improved the build when I made Demon by Night, but I’d love it if it could help you when making your own VNs! NVL-mode is a really fun style.

(Also this is my reminder to go leave a comment on Hell, oh my god you were cooking with that)

I'm trying not to be, but I am doing my best to prepare for it as a possibility. Please consider staying in contact, either throughfollowing my patreon or my mailing list. If this page goes down, then I'll still be able to get in contact and make sure that people get to play the finished game!

Sorry to be late on responding to this, but thank you so much for the offer! I really appreciate the curation work you're doing, and I give you express permission to save and upload this if the itchio page goes down!

I like how this feels like a slice of their existing dynamic. There's a good metaphor for how these two aren't going anywhere, for better or for worse, as both frustration and reassurance.

The art itself is so nice and soft, with a moody quality. I think I'd be compelled by it even if it wasn't Jigen that I got to look at while playing!

This is such a very charming Lupin III fan VN, with plenty of Lupin's signature chipper glee. Really great job maintaining Zenigata's energy in the posework, too!

The dialogue just feels right, and I enjoyed the conversational gameplay loop. It's hard to have a lot of choices in a game but keep the tension low, but the whole thing flows so gently and fun. If you're a Lupin fan looking at this page, you should go download it right now!

My apologies, looks like there was an issue with the file. I've got it fixed and you should be able to download the full ver 0.41 now.

Thanks for picking up the game, and thanks for reporting the issue! Which version are you playing: Mac, PC or Linux?

If you check out the other games with these two, you might not be surprised then... :3

Thank you so much! And man, one of my favorite things is when a piece of media I'm enjoying echoes my own reactions back at me, it makes me feel so in tune with the writing. DEEPLY happy that what I wrote got to do that for you, and I hope you have fun with Serialized Killer sometime!

Templates and scripts help me, too! If you go to the bottom of this page, you'll find a lot of helpful resources. ^u^

Thanks for the heads up! I've posted this game to my new subscribestar, and am looking into Newgrounds, as well!

I swear in my email that you’d left a comment and my brain went “Oh no! Did I mess up the bundle somehow by submitting it wrong? I hope I haven’t screwed it up for everyone!”

Clicking through and seeing this comment made me laugh so hard, it was a relief and so nice XD

That's high praise; we love The Stanley Parable!

You got it!

Hey thank you! I would absolutely love to join; your curation work is tireless and top-notch, so the invite is very kind! NonPlatonic Forms is still not finished yet, but so long as that's okay with you, this would be an incredibly helpful signal boost.

Yeah, I'm working on a new site too and I'm getting the 429 on mobile, but not on desktop. I've been refreshing the page a bunch to check it, but that's a couple dozen refreshes over the course of an hour, not hundreds.

Thank you! If you liked that fic, then this game will be right up your alley. The idea outgrew its box and needed a bigger terrarium.

One with sunlight and real fresh air, so to speak. XD

Skullgirls has such a rad art style, that's a huge compliment! ^u^

Huh, good catch! The text file was in the folder when zipping up the distributions, but I'm not seeing it in there when I download the build back from itch. I've uploaded new folders for both versions with the content warning file added.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention!

Yeah I’m sorry about that, but you’ll have to come back on PC, Mac, or Linux.

Thanks for the tip! I may have to prioritize other tags,  but it’s good to experiment with different tags and see what works.

Thank you so much. ^u^

If you’d like to date an eldritch horror, sure, I’ve got one over here: https://alexisroyce.itch.io/nonplatonic-forms-teaser-demo

Thank you very much. I wanted to try to assemble an NVL style that would lend itself to shortform games and sketching practice. I think the aspect ratio of the wide vertical textbox worked out very well, so if you're ever looking for a format to use for a game jam, please feel free to give it a go!

Awwww thank you!

I hear it has some great animation 😉

YOOOOO HEY YOU! Luzeni is forever 😌

You love to see something hold up to a second reading. Thank you! ^u^

Thank you! 😊

Thank you so much! I hope you enjoyed all the extra info in the art book. :3

Nope! Just a coincidence!

Talaiporia would probably say you could have him XD

Weird! Thanks for the bug (heh) report, I’ll get that patched up in the future!

Nah, it makes them way better than the English speakers who steal and repost the game on their own sites. XD

Hey Russian translator, if you’re out there reading this, send me an email and I’ll post the translation here so more people can play the game! Glad that you liked it! 😁

Thank you! I’m a big fan of games like Depression Quest, which use un-choosable options in a similar way to showcase frustration at not being able to do certain things. Lupin III is not exactly the type of series where people spend a lot of time talking about their feelings, so I thought that exploring the things that couldn’t be said would be really good for a guy like Lupin.
