Thanks for your kind words. The extra features you are proposing are definitely coming in a full release of the game! Build your bag, extra classes, class specific tokens and encounters! Thanks you for playing my game and for leaving a comment!

you are completely right, the death animations didn’t make the cut. I totally see how that can be confusing when the same enemy spawns, especially when you one shot them. That might be a good mechanic to add indeed. I do feel like to really get this game to the next level there should indeed be something that you can do with the draws. I’m still thinking about what it could be. Thanks for playing and taking the time to leave a comment!
Nice little game you created! I love the dark theme and the news caster announcing the result of my dark activities! The game looks very polished and the cookies look delicious. Maybe I just got lucky, cause only after day 1 (sorry i skipped the intro) I only bought poison cookies and it never really got me at risk of suspicion. I'm sure this was due to the fact that its a jam and there was no time for proper playtesting, regardless I enjoyed playing. Wonder why nobody visited my shop on day 6...
Thanks for playing, I agree the balance is a bit off. However it is intentional that you would regularly be 'punished' by pushing too hard. Once I develop it further you as a player would get more ways to combat this overheating by building your 'deck/bag'. Thanks for your feedback, it's highly appreciated!
Interested to find out what you think about my bagbuilder (without the actual bagbuilding - that didnt make it unfortunately) https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-14/rate/3847384

Wow, I definitely did not expect anyone to play more than 5 minutes, I almost feel bad for not taking more time to balance and put and endgoal into the game. The enemy encounters are now spawned in at random, but I was thinking to put 'the BAKER' as the final boss to indeed give an endgoal. It was just a jam game, but I am considering to expand it after the jam to make it into a fuller version based on all your feedback. Thanks so much for playing and commenting!
Haha the old man is becoming a community favorite! It was actually my test class but I thought it was funny to keep it in. His years of experience gave him a lot of HP and all his hits are crits! You were right that it actually could confuse the actual intended gameplay though. Thanks for playing and for your feedback!
This game was more fun than I am comfortable to admit, I loved the somewhat clunkiness of the controls. I would probably make it a bit more difficult by allowing the biscuits to go off the screen, as now my tactic was just to yeet it to the other side and catch it off the wall. I think the foto at the end of the round and the star system together with the animations make this really shine. Nice submission, congrats!
Hey thanks for playing my game! You have some great suggestions. The rewards part and the actual building your bag didn't make it in the jam version unfortunately. I was planning to add some more interesting enemies then just plain 'damage dealers'. I had some plan of having them interact with your bag in some way by adding blanks or more heat generators for example. Your suggestions sound like really cool implementations for some boss mechanics! Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment!
Nice submission, the game looks really good and the soundtrack is also very nice! I wish the screen was a bit bigger as it felt like the enemy was always getting away from me and I felt I couldn't really hit him while he had no problem hitting me. Overall your game is a very polished submission, congrats!
I'm a sucker for roguelikes and this is a nice implementation. I would've loved to see where this would go to given more time. The only remarkt I have that it would be nice to somehow indicate a difference between picking a die and actually assigning die to enemies as sometimes I thought I was picking a side and instead had to attack. Overall it was a nice submission!
Cute little game, I loved the art of the cat and the grandma. I think some things on the gameplay could be improved. For example the cat sometimes stuck me in place and didnt allow me to move. Also having to click the quicktime events instead of pressing a (or any) button would improve the controls considerably. Overall, still congrats on your submission, it's not easy to make a game on your own in a week!
I love the game art and the animations. The sound effect were well done as well. I love how you implemented the risk it for the biscuit theme similarly as how I implemented it. I didn't really understand how the shop worked as I couldn't really find my money clearly when buying upgrades. Overall quite enjoyable!
It's nice how much you've managed to get into the game in one week. My monkey gambling brain liked betting all my money away on stocks that mean nothing to me. It would be nice to see the prices of the stocks and the price of you order when you are buying stocks. Also options to buy 'as much as you money allows' would be great. The art of the different stock brands are pretty cool
Cool game, I really liked how you 'risk' all the money for a chance to live. I don't know if it is a bug or not, but I felt like I could reroll all the time without any penalty. You managed to jam a lot of mechanics into this game. I really like the animations you have added, those were really good. Good job!
Nice game, the graphics look good and the squishiness of the cat is so nice and satisfying. It would be nice to see more added to this game to allow for different strategies, as for now there's one solution. It would also be cool if the score depends on how well you perform on the level. Overall it was very nicely done!
