That was a fault on my end, I forgot to remove one of the original switches for it. Redownload the game and transfer your save files, this patch should fix that issue.

It's stated in the intro that you can only go through a door if it's already open or if you have the key for it. The keys are like magic, once you find one, a new door will appear
