Still, you're not wrong; I'm definitely trying to take more time for myself, but every minute I do that is a minute I'm not working on Void Dreaming, so there has to be a balance somewhere. There's no real walkthrough to be given! There's no routes for the different characters if you want to romance them; just spend time with them naturally and you'll discover what they're all about. There are ways to get in real good with some characters much earlier, but they require a lot of specific effort... as they should to get in their pants so fast!
Long story short: there's no romance routes, so take your time and enjoy their company!
Whether he's that receptive that early depends on a number of factors, but getting any of the spicy content in Void Dreaming at its earliest always requires a much more optimal approach than otherwise. Your choices really so matter here!

It was really supposed to! This should fix it, but given the way this update has gone both here and on Patreon, I admit to being damn scared I've not got all the kinks worked out. Fingers crossed, but to say I'm not stressing myself out would be a bald faced lie, heh heh.
Anwill's and the Dreamer crew's stories are far from over, so you've got plenty to look forward to yet! As for what piratical elements might be in play in the future... you'll just have to wait and see!

Then I'm sorry you feel tricked or deceived; that was never my intention. If that's how you feel, then I heartily suggest you leave Void Dreaming for the moment and enjoy any of the many other wonderful FVNs in the space in the meantime. You can always come back at a later date to see if the story has what you're looking for then.
However, I would like to point out that Void Dreaming has monthly updates on where the project is at, with a focus on transparency with my readers to show them where we're going and what we're doing. So far, I am very proud of the way I have managed to maintain my schedule and accountability to my readers, but I know I can't please everyone and these would likely count for you as more "vague statements" and "empty words" than anything substantive. I'm sorry if I've let you down, but respectfully I don't think there's anything I could do to help that.

I was tempted to make Rael be nameable at the start of the story, but I decided against it because Rael really is his own character. You have a lot of influence over him, but he is who he is and who he is plays a big role in the story. Identity is a pretty key throughline for Void Dreaming, heh.
Thanks for the concern! I'm all good; the storm didn't do any real damage where I am. Most of the nastiness was in other areas, unfortunately for them. Glad as I am I was okay, the places hit were, uh... they don't look great at all.

The achievement system will come at roughly the same time I have the resources to actually sort out the UI for the project; I know it's in desperate need of some touching up, but that'll have to wait until I have the money to address the issue. I hadn't put any thought into a censored version honestly, but down the road I may well have to do one for that very purpose. While Mizz can't be helped right now, an Ace Rael doesn't engage romantically or sexually with the crew, and this at least eliminates a lot of the stickier issues that might arise with content standards.
Still, something I should probably look into for the future!
