Lovely color-grading* and cinematography! Sold it being movie-like to me
Claw machine gameplay was unusual and fun, even though I did not figure it out from the get-go 😅
*or simply palette? It just looks like a filter over art, which looks great
I really liked Zephyr being an unconventional vampire and the mystery was surprising. Timely placed vignettes and interesting 3rd ending execution.
Btw, about Zephyr's childlikeness, I can understand how it might be uncomfortable for some people, but I actually know people with similar behavior IRL. Just my 2 cents in case someone thinks it's totally unrealistic.
Didn't get into any particular route on my first playthrough and went "huh, that was shorter than I expected." Went back again, and it's not, in fact, short :D I've played through Altair's and Malik's routes so far, but I'm interested in seeing if not all than at least a couple of more endings for sure. I haven't played previous games of the series and was surprised it was darker than I thought it would be, but that's a good thing. Oh, and MC is great.
