It redirects to the documentation rather than your server. I’d greatly appreciate it if you fixed it, because I’m already very confused. (And this is coming from a veteran developer.)

Funnily enough, the complexity of Tiled is the same reason I was looking for a simpler map editor.

Thanks!

Personally not a fan of the music, and I would’ve preferred a way to turn it off. I still think this is a charming game, though, especially with how non-seriously it takes itself.

This is a great concept, but like the others said, the power-ups never deactivate. I use them once, and after that a timer appears; when it reaches 0 it just resets to full again and never disappears.

If you pause, you get the option to retry the level. I still agree with you on the undo function though, but time was getting tight.

This is the latest version of Firefox (140.0.1) on Kubuntu 24.04.

There wasn’t any confusion, that was just me running on fumes.

This was a unique one, that’s for sure! The idea is certainly great, but the game has some glitches that prevent me from enjoying it fully. For instance, you sometimes throw something on the ground if you click it once.

I still liked it, though. (I’m also curious, how’d you embed a Scratch game in itch.io?)

Ohhh, okay. I get it. (Is something wrong with the archive, though? I can’t extract it no matter what I do. And I have tons of hard drive space available.)

Alright, because I feel like that should be clarified a bit. I got through level 1 with 93% without kicking him (or any other innocents) out, and I was let through.

I don’t recall ever doing that. Was there a reason as to why? I’ll see if the one I kicked out had grey hair, but the only “wrong” one I kicked out on level one was the blonde dude with the very long hat.

This is a fun little game, but please consider toning down the bomb flashes. Those weren’t fun to look at, and may trigger seizures in some people.

Outside of that, I feel like the thing holding this game back the most is its car-like control scheme. (Instead of using the keys to move orthographically, left and right “steers” and up and down “accelerate.”) Still not a bad time, though.

As Pyroglyph said below, this was an excellent retelling of an emotional story you went through. The ambiance is perfect. The puzzles drive home the points well, although when she said “give me some space,” I interpreted it as needing to press the spacebar over and over. That one was on me.

In any case, this one was great. And I’m very sorry that this happened to you.

Did I break the game…? After I cleared level one, I was able to clear the subsequent levels while only kicking out one person, and level five never loads.

In any case, this is a great concept. I liked what I got to play!

This is a fantastic idea, and I had lots of fun figuring out the puzzles. I’d absolutely love to see more of this. My only complaint is that some colours in the game have poor contrast.

Still… full marks!

DISCLAIMER: I had to run your Windows game through WINE to get it to play on my Linux computer. Any problems that I encountered may not apply to the game itself.

It’s not a bad platform game, and the closing walls create a sense of urgency… but I got stuck on the sides of the white walls a lot. The maroon walls in level 2 also seem to be broken; they didn’t damage me.

I will say that you should use a different colour for the springboards. A lot of people, including myself, may think that their red colour would indicate that it kills.

This is pretty good, but… the side view is unfair. Each card has to be hit a certain number of times, and you can’t see the number of hit points from the side. And like others have said, having the game move faster from the start would also be appreciated.

The concept is really good, too.

This one was fun! The later levels had a lot of close shaves, too. My only real issue is that I seem to be experiencing a bit of lag. Could just be my browser, but this is a great entry nonetheless.

(You’re also able to move around on the title screen, which I don’t think is meant to happen.)

It’s a cute little game, but I don’t think it’s possible to collect every bolt. The walls close in too quickly, and some bolts are right on the edge of the map where the walls start. I may be missing something, though.

Well, hmm. This entry certainly fits the theme, but I was expecting a little bit more. Maybe I have the wrong expectations for this jam, though, so I’ll return later.

No problem.

Hey! Heads up! Someone bought a boxed cartridge version of your game from Ferrante Crafts, and the person who bought it didn’t receive the game. https://youtu.be/vqGSyFTR6rY?feature=shared&t=553

Why does the music stop after a while? That’s really my only complaint, the rest of the game is pretty solid!

Not a bad little game. It reminds me of this other game I played years ago where you had to make phones with a checklist of parts.

Ditto. The number of asteroids felt overwhelming at times.

This is a pretty basic game, but its gameplay loop isn’t bad. Could use some more work, but good start!

Game appears to be a virus… Please upload a HTML5 version of your game(s) whenever possible to avoid this happening again.

Not a bad game, though an item necessary to progress fell through the floor once. Also the controls took a little getting used to.

This is probably just a ‘me’ problem (or my keyboard) but I found that when I let go of the charge button and arrow buttons it sometimes doesn’t register one of my arrow inputs… I did enjoy the game despite that.

It’s alright but there appears to be some kind of glitch with the boss that causes the game to lag more and more each time I die to it… It also makes the already too loud boss music even louder

As it is now, it’s way too short… I like the idea, but I feel like it could be expanded into something greater.

Reminds me a lot of Super Hexagon. Great game, though I wasn’t a fan of the music personally.

I thought this was a cute little experience.

Excellent game! I liked the exploration aspect of the level design.

Not a bad entry, just wish it was a little longer… Unless I wasn’t supposed to get the space ending.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone. I’ll use this to create a DX version of this game after the jam voting period ends. As for why the game feels kind of janky, it’s because it’s not quite finished…

You see, I originally had a 5 person team for this event, but our level designer got robbed and our composer left on their own, saying the project was “directionless,” leaving me and two graphic designers. From there the team kind of dissolved and I was left trying to find a new team midway through the jam. But I did, and we did the best we could to make this a worthwhile game. So I’d like to thank zacrous12, PureKnix and JaxxenCheney for their help with this game, it couldn’t have been done without you.

Not a bad idea, I like that it’s random each time you play.

Unfortunately this game does not load for me. I get the following error: Uncaught SyntaxError: illegal character U+FFFD
