So, with the release of the initial demo, I've now begun work on the next track! This is set to be a city based level, longer and more complex than the initial test track.

I've been focusing primarily on establishing the general layout of the level itself, and trying to address the balance of having a level which is both visually interesting AND fun to drive through. I have a LOT of ideas as to what I want to accomplish with this, perhaps too many, but progress has been good so far. My architectural influences include Wells Cathedral, the canals of Amsterdam, and Bristol docks.

One element I've been playing with is splines to fit all the fences, a feature I've never used before, and OH BOY, what a time saver! Wish I'd known about it sooner.

I've also been adding some aesthetic elements to the driving itself, specifically a skiding system with tyre marks and audio, and a horn button. So all in all, good progress so far.

Hey, thanks bud, I'm glad you like the vibes! Thanks for the tip, I didn't expect that the car could actully drive up such a steep slope. I'm also definitely planning on a proper pause menu, if I can figure out the scripting.

Oh hey, thanks for coming over and giving it a go, I really appreciate it! I'll be honest, the goal of this project was just to make a complete game and release it, no matter how tiny, but it was a great learning experiance for me. I don't think I'll end up expanding the idea, but never say never...

You're welcome, glad you liked it

Thank you so much, I'm really glad you enjoyed it! I'm currently working on a new game that I hope to release sometime before summer,  which I hope you will also like

A really lovely little game, with a suprising amount of little things to discover!
