you could do a trap Something like how Chomper acts in PVZGW when chomper digs under ground and stop moving he go's fully invisible "like a trap"
and you can have another unit that their whole job is to find traps/hidden units

Theres some insights below. i been playing vore games for around 4-5 years and this is the best game i have every played. nothing beats itthis game will take you around 2 hours to beat and its not that grindy just get to lv 7-8 before going into the Bandit camp with 5+ lv 1 heals and 2-3 lv2 heals and you be just fine 
this game is the most stuning RPG maker under Vore. 
with tons of memes and jokes "good ones" with really good music picks
