Really addictive (ʘ‿ʘ) Clicking the smoothly appearing squares felt so satisfying, and the music perfectly matched the hectic pace. Had a lot of fun with this one!

23760 yay  :D

Hehe, you never know what a little ritual can lead to… (˵ •̀ ᴗ - ˵ )✧

Thank you! I’m happy you liked it, especially the voice acting hehe (。•ᴗ•。)♡

I finished the game, though I’m not entirely sure how. I stacked some boxes and it seems Cthulhu was happy with that. I also tried to lose, but couldn’t, can you actually lose? The audio was fun and weird, and overall the experience was really unique and memorable (^▽^)

Really polished game in under three hours! Everything ran smoothly, and I liked the skill element; once you memorized some rituals, you could do them faster. The difficulty ramped up nicely, though the final score showed "inf," so maybe it didn’t calculate correctly? The font was a bit tricky to read in some places, but it didn’t really affect the experience.
Would love to see a longer version with multiple levels, starting simple and unlocking more complex rituals as you go. It’d be fun if the character and visuals evolved too. Great job, this was really enjoyable! (^▽^)

Thanks a lot for playing and leaving your thoughts. I find collage-style fascinating too, and I wanted to try it in my own game. Glad you enjoyed the art and audio, and that experimenting with different arrangements was fun. Happy the ending made you smile (≧◡≦) ♡

This game had an unusual mechanic, I didn’t immediately figure out how to play, probably because I didn’t read the instructions carefully enough (≖‿≖;) , but after a couple of tries it all made sense. Every element comes together in a delightfully cohesive little world.

Thanks for the feedback! A ticking clock is a memory of my grandma’s, and it kept me awake all night (≖‿≖)  Glad you enjoyed how it all came together (✧‿✧)

Love the idea of saving the world with a potato (🥔‿🥔) Candle-shooting and waves of enemies keep things intense, and the music really sets the mood. Shooting left is a bit wonky, and the menu buttons didn’t cooperate. Enemies seemed super enthusiastic about screaming when they died (╯°□°)╯
A potato saving the world… what could possibly go wrong (✧‿✧)

Nice little morning ritual here! Grinding the coffee (and maybe drinking it later) is a solid start, I was tempted to try the same approach myself. Love how cozy the graphics look. Curious to see when the morning ritual fully kicks in (¬‿¬)

Loved how minimal yet fun this was. The block expressions were adorable, I can’t resist those cute little faces (◕ᴗ◕) Especially when the kidnapped one looked surprised but then smiled anyway!

Since it’s top-down and the background’s flat, it was a bit hard to tell where the character was, maybe a few grass patches or little details could help. Not a big issue though, since the play area was small.
The number of the blue ones increased at just the right pace as the game went on.
Darkly funny!

Thank you. It was a surprising honor (′ꈍᴗꈍ‵)

Many thanks! More goodies on the way (≧▽≦)

Nice dungeon and atmosphere! That death sound definitely gave me a jump scare.

You can’t go wrong with nostalgic Minesweeper, would love to hear some sounds too (~‾⌣‾)~ ♫ !

Looking much better, nicely done :)

Hehee glad you survived the soundtrack  (≖ᴗ≖”)

Thank you (´⌣` )

Glad to hear you liked it :) I would definitely add more sounds if time wasn't so limited. Adorable sounds in your son's game :)

Thank you  ♪(・ω・)ノ

I couldn’t decide which was weirder: the smelly slime creature or the freezing… thing. Hopefully, you didn’t have to do all the sounds yourself.

I collected more money than my yearly income and felt moderately heroic. The gameplay flowed smoothly, and there was just enough room to get lost without panicking. Great!

I feel like I could go far in a music talent show with these songs. I'm glad your courage to help outweighed your fear of the lava. Thanks for giving a hand :)

I think this will remain my permanent style from now on (⌐■_■)

I really liked the soundscape together with atmosphere and the game was fun to play. Sometimes I died even though it seemed like the enemy's "bomb" animation had already ended. I liked the final enemy. Its bullets were a bit lost in the background so they could have been a more visible. Also some feedback on when the enemy was hit would have been nice. All in all, a really great whole :)

I enjoyed the atmosphere and mechanics of the game! It was exciting to hear the enemy approaching.  Some kind of indicator would have been a nice addition so I would have known how long I had to survive.

The atmosphere was very original and there were a nice variety of enemy types. The difficulty level was quite challenging for me :D

This game looks so quirky and fun! Can’t wait to test it in-browser if it’s available in the future.

A mysterious and slightly scary game! I liked the atmosphere. I couldn’t keep the fire going, even though I tried several times. Is there some correlation between the mechanics and the frame rate? Or maybe I was just a bad firekeeper xD

Great game! Screen shake makes it more feelable, I like that.  Good anticipation mechanics that the player has time to react to.

A satisfying game! The rotating mechanism was great and it was nice to see how the marshmallow was cooking. The sounds were a bit technical for my taste, I would have liked a bit more "foody" sounds. But great work overall!

Atmosphere was so cozy. I'm not a big fan of text based games, but this was nicely short and entertaining :)

Fun concept! At first it was a bit hard to understand where I should place the ingredients but finally I succeeded to serve food :)

Thanks for reminding me about that game! I've wanted to play it for a long time, but just forgot.

Thanks for the feedback, good points! Yea with more time, we could have refined the game a little further.

Thanks for playing and feedback! What do you think would be a good/clearer indicator that the player intends to light more than one campfire?

Thanks for playing! I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed my little game :)

Many times before in Trijams I have exceeded the time limit by several hours, so I am super happy that this time I managed to keep the scope small enough :) I wasn't sure what is good speed in this kind of games so thanks for feedback  on that.

(1 edit)

That's nice to hear!  I wanted to communicate clearly to the player which characters are enemies in ways other than just size , so great that it worked :) Growing is good idea, unfortunately there was too little time left so I couldn't implement more mechanics. Thanks for playing!
