I finally beat this game. I had to get the iron knuckles for the beginning of the run, then only take trinkets, usually taking the extra trinkets if I could. If the champion boxer had been infinite turns, I could've beaten him since I outhealed his damage and my trinkets were eating away at his health even though the gloves deal no damage. Anyways, decent game.
Lose your life over to a demo of a game that now exists in the full version. Pointlessly spend hours playing something that has no meaning. Eventually, through the game's strange logic of random chance, your desired wish shall be fulfilled. However, at the end of it all, you will leave feeling empty. You will ponder on why you wasted precious hours of your life striving for this meaningless set of zeroes and ones. You will end up far more unhappy that you could have fathomed when you set out on this quest. At the same time, a small part of you lingers on... perhaps there is more of the game to explore... Even if you fulfill your goals, however, you will find that they do not bring fulfillment or happiness. Those are precious things, that can only come from one source. Most reject this source entirely for one reason or another. The path is wide that leads to destruction, but on the narrow road that leads to happiness, few tread.
I sincerely hope you the best in your seeking.

I already left a comment before, but I have returned to the page to do it again. I can't really describe what a deep effect this game had on me. It's incredibly sad, terrifying, deep, engaging, and simply beautiful all at once. It's the only game that's ever made me cry, and if it weren't such a small game, I might call it the best I've ever played. It's truly up there though. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for this incredible experience you have allowed me to be a part of.
