I also really liked the character customization! That’s a neat touch!

It’s a lot more likely that this is based off games like the Long Drive. I’ve never played a Dusty Trip, but Roblox games are very rarely completely original, and typically based off pre-existing games.

Really fun game, I really wish you could commit vehicular manslaughter though, maybe at the cost of your car’s health or something.

Thanks! I plan on making the game significantly easier and faster paced post-jam.

Honestly, I don’t really see how this suits the theme. It’s fun at first but gets really repetitive after a while.

The art is really cool, and the gameplay’s enjoyable as well.

Really great game! The art is lovely, though it is also a bit overly hard.

I had the same bug as Rusnorful. Also, the target minigame is like, weirdly hard? I may just be bad at clicking fast, but it feels like it requires you to click weirdly fast.

I have to rate this all 1 stars due to there being no way to play the game.

There’s no game here.

Really nice art and dialogue and stuff. Clearly there’s been a lot of effort put into this. However, the gameplay feels really bland. If you just say yes to everything, you’ll be almost always completely fine. There’s almost never any reason to say no. Honestly, I never interacted with the threshold mechanics at all. The dialogue also got really repetitive after a while, and I wish there was progression of the character’s stories instead of the same character asking if they can start a bakery for the 10th time. It was also unclear at a lot of points on what would actually happen if I said yes. I think this could be fleshed out into a really cool game now, but in it’s current state it isn’t all too fun.

You have to check that you have files that will be played in the browser from one of the dropdowns, and then check the index.html file as a file that will be played in the browser.

this was p cool! i think it could use some feedback when you damage enemies, squash and stretch or flashing white or maybe even damage numbers, or all 3! i think the OGM-72 DIABLO STRIKE was a bit too powerful compared to your regular projectiles so i mainly used it instead of the projectiles. art could be improved, fun game tho!

It’s, interesting. I couldn’t figure out how to let the green fella eat. I think this could be an interesting concept. Big fan of the HP bars. Art’s not bad either. Shooting could use some juice.

It’s just how many seconds you take.

Mostly feels like a generic platformer. Art isn’t great, I have no idea how this adheres to the theme.

This is great, however, I do have some problems. Firstly, why does the chud lantern have a hitbox?? It feels really unfair that, despite you dodging the bullets, you still get punished because the lantern got hit. I also feel like the enemy bullets should be more distinct and visible. Having to put thousands of dollars worth of lead into these stupid eyeball things just to progress is pretty annoying, and they’re not especially fun to fight. The 2nd boss also has some performance issues.

The stamina mechanic feels pretty unfun, and to my knowledge there’s no way to see your health. The animations also feel pretty unresponsive.

Really needs more juice, also feels a bit too short. The mechanic also doesn’t really feel like you’re working in symbiosis, since you don’t make up for each other’s faults, and the platforming is mostly just trying to keep the 2 rats as close together as possible. There’s also a slew of grammatical errors.

This is super cool! I kinda seem the theme with everything in an ecosystem working in tandem, though I wish that was actually functional. Like, atleast maybe make the seals actually eat the fish.

Damn, this has got a lot of potential! This is the first time I’ve ever seen a strategy game like this on flowlab! It’s quite fun too! And juicy! Very much looking forward to what this becomes.

Again?

Slapping a game in several unrelated jams probably won’t help you with results. Additionally, if your only motivation is to win, then you’re probably not going to get far.

Big fan of generic, default asset platformers!! I love slop!

The art is really cool, but there doesn’t really seem to be any gameplay.

This is incredible, however[SPOILER]:

I find the perspective weirdly uncomfortable, I wish you’d maybe make it a bit more toward the ground. Also, I feel like the difficulty is a bit over tuned. I had trouble with the 2nd level.

Uh, what am I supposed to do? I clicked on the creature, clicked on the move, it flashed green, nothing happened.

Damn. No game.

The art is beautiful, but I’ve still got a few gripes.

  1. NEEDS MORE JUICE, Atleast SFX.
  2. No way to heal.
  3. The 1st alien is much more interesting than the others. Biting stuff and occasionally shooting projectiles/marking stuff with thorns and then releasing them for damage is much less interesting than straight up possessing stuff.

3.1 The 1st alien is also vastly better than all of the other aliens, because there’s really no point in fighting enemies. Also, the possess mechanic is weirdly janky, and I only got it to work a few times. I wish I could fly with the flying enemy while it’s possessed.

The enemies feel really bs because their attacks have a strangely high amount of range and because the attacks aren’t telegraphed. You also don’t get any i-frames during your q, so it’s honestly more dangerous to use than to not. The art is pretty nice tho.

Totally not “inspired” by Risk of Rain.

I’m teaming up with a friend of mine who’s an incredible pixel artist and artist in general. I’m super hyped to work with her. Helps that she’s Finnish so we’re in the same timezone.

It shows an item description when you hover over the sprite, we’ll probably make it so that it shows changes and stuff no matter what, I 100% agree on all your points.

If you press space or whatever the key to interact with the lift was(i can’t remember) while the lift is moving the lift movement bugs out, i’m guessing you made it so that it eases from it’s current position to a position a certain number of pixels higher or lower, you can fix this by setting that number at the start.

Extrez came up with the name, ask him.

Yeah, I did read the tutorial, and I did use the dash, still, the movement speed felt sluggish.

Very cool little horror game, it feels like it drags out for way too long though, also maybe a separate animation for when the guy finally kills you.

I’m pressing space but nothing’s happening.

Why does it seem like the third item in the shop always increases it’s price to be just slightly above how much U have? Is that intentional?
