Hi, this is a great game! Thank you for making it :D

I really liked the mechanic and especially the atmosphere :)

Great story and theme interpretation! I liked your drawings a lot :)

I was really missing music and sound effects though :(

I really liked the idea and the concept! The graphics are 10/10 and were really pleasant to look at :D

The game could've used a bit more polish though. I got stuck a lot and were really confused sometimes.

The cycling through the different mechanics was a bit unintuitive.

Besides that though, great game!

A great asset! Very creepy. We had a lot of fun implementing it in our game Profundus! :D

I do not really like  AI generated content. I have no problem with you enhancing your games description and replies to comments but the game felt really vibe coded.

Like, I saw the spirit of the Zombie Annihilation Extermiination. But the game felt very jaded. I was was not really sure what to do in the beginning because so much was happening at once.

All of the assets felt disconnected. At first I assumed it was an abstract parody of old arcade-y games but when I saw your description and comments I began assuming that it was AI content :(

I guess the rules don't forbid AI content so I won't scold you for using it besides the points I already made.

So TL;DR without my AI rant:

There was a lot happening at once and some of the mechanics felt disconnected. Liked the idea and setting though. "Zombie waves" is a nice interpretation that reminds me of PvZ. One of my favourites :D

Happy to see a new aspiring Godot dev! :D
Please keep in mind that my feedback is mostly technical stuff. You did great for a first game :D
I love that you already managed to implement so many things in your first game! (I sure as heck didn't T.T)

  1. So regarding your games mechanic:
I like your theme interpretation of the "waves" being shockwaves.
It's a bit difficult to use though. I actually had to stop playing because I got softlocked in level 3 (apparently you can only use the mechanic while being on ground)
Also everything freezes when I use the ability. Like, I can't even change my movement. I just have to endure the tween before I can do any new inputs D:
  2. I liked the idea of stuff breaking. It was very fun to see all the bits flying around!
  3. I didn't like the implementation of the poisonous floor, because it was so far at the end of the level. Everytime I failed I had to do the entire level again :(
There was also no warning about the floor so at first I didn't really understood what was killing me D:
  4. I liked that you had HP bars. I was just confused about the amounts. The enemies had so many HP :O
It felt as if I had to stomp a Goomba five times :(

With all those technical things out of the way:

Very strong first entry! Keep going! We will watch your career with great interest ;)

If you are interested in learning more about Godot I can recommend you a few channels that I used to learn more about the Engine and Game Design in general (or you can check out my games. They are almost all made in Godot ;))

Thanks a lot for playing our game :D

I was really helpful to see someone else play the game!

Regarding the suspicious comments: Most of them were friends of ours that we asked to playtest the game before it was released. So it‘s less botted comments and more supportive friends 😅

(just kidding. It‘s a Bitcoin Miner. All your base are belong to us now!!!) :D

Okay, so I really like this one!

I recently learned fast typing and always search for typing games. So when the random queue hit me with a typing game I was dumbfounded xD

I like a lot about this game, but the best part is probably how everything works together. The sports theme of the text combined with "La Ola" and the wave stopping where you type :D

My feedback would be, that I was missing the whitespaces. I got confused multiple times becauseI lost track of where I was when I had to type a whitespace. It was also a bit difficult that the screen was scrolling and that I had to read while it moved, but at least I didn't get punished for typing the wrong key :)
Sometimes two letters in the same word were hidden and I couldn't guess it from context anymore :(
Also  the size of the game didn't increase when I went fullscreen in browser :(

Great game overall and I was enjoying it :D

Thanks for your feedback!

Making the crouch feel good is a pain, I tell you xD
In earlier builds it was wayyy too fast and we could just play through the game without uncrouching lol
Because of that we made it slower to discourage people from crouching all the time. But maybe we overdid it a bit :(

Thanks for your feedback!

Sad to hear that there was a bug with the jumpscare animation :(
I hope it didn't impact your experience too much!

Great game! It was a lot of fun to implement the mechanics ^^

I like the concept of using loops and backtracking because it makes the player get more familiar with the area :D

The style was a bit too simplistic for my taste but the idea was interesting nonetheless!

Interesting concept. It‘s nice that you can play it using only the mouse :D

I thought the art style was a bit too simplistic, but maybe that‘s just a me thing.

Hi, so first of thanks a lot for your honest feedback!

I watched your playthrough and your approach on playing the game showed me a lot of things that we should improve upon!

although you did not really play the essential part of the game, your playthrough was still helpful! It showed me that we have to optimize the instructions in the beginning so that the player actually knows what to do xD

Sometimes it's hard to guess how people will perceive your game when you know exactly what you designed what for...

So I am sorry that you had no fun playing the game :(

However, I'm also glad you told us so that we could learn from that!

Very cozy feeling game :D
I liked the star mechanic.

Only critique I have is the trashcan...

Great game :D
Very intriguing and I liked the different ways used to solve the mysteries!

Thank you :)
Maybe we should look into that...

I did find something! Yippee!

Extremely addicting!

Thanks!

Glad you liked the OST :D
I'm also in love with the transition between "quiet bullet" and "epic bullet" xD

And you did it so well! I'm really impressed :D

Yeah, you are right about that. We initially wanted to make more levels.
However, the game was becoming too large. So we settled on five levels and included a few challenges to make up for it :D

I like typing games, so naturally I liked this game aswell!

Great game, great idea, very Fitting Soundtrack and an unexpectedly cute missile xD

I loved this one! "You are the weapon, but you actually don't wanna be" is such a great idea!
I was getting really excited when watching the opening cutscene xD

The game was very fun xD
I also love that the first thing Swordy  thought about when waking up was "I could build a trading post here" xD
Just one question: Where did the trader come from? :O

Interesting idea. I liked the map :D

We're happy to hear that! We were using Godot's delta variable to adjust all movements to the FPS rate.
I wasn't sure if it would work, but apparently it dit :D

Thanks! We're happy you liked the ring challenges ^^

I'm happy you liked our title :D
We'll make sure to include a volume bar into the next build!

Epic! Royal!

Thank you for your feedback! Could you tell us what exactly your performance issues were?

Thanks!

Very interesting story! I liked the end a lot!

Thanks for your feedback! We're already discussing what kind of new challenges we could include in later versions of the game :D

Very good interpretation of the theme!
Sadly, the shield ability couldn't really shine in my run, because most of the arrows missed the lost peasant anyway.

I really liked the moments when the sword made combos xD

Thank you for your feedback! We would have loved to include more levels, but you know how it goes with game jams xD

Thanks! What exacty is FalleN? I couldn't find it by searching for it.
