Hi, this is a great game! Thank you for making it :D
I really liked the mechanic and especially the atmosphere :)
I really liked the idea and the concept! The graphics are 10/10 and were really pleasant to look at :D
The game could've used a bit more polish though. I got stuck a lot and were really confused sometimes.
The cycling through the different mechanics was a bit unintuitive.
Besides that though, great game!
I do not really like AI generated content. I have no problem with you enhancing your games description and replies to comments but the game felt really vibe coded.
Like, I saw the spirit of the Zombie Annihilation Extermiination. But the game felt very jaded. I was was not really sure what to do in the beginning because so much was happening at once.
All of the assets felt disconnected. At first I assumed it was an abstract parody of old arcade-y games but when I saw your description and comments I began assuming that it was AI content :(
I guess the rules don't forbid AI content so I won't scold you for using it besides the points I already made.
So TL;DR without my AI rant:
There was a lot happening at once and some of the mechanics felt disconnected. Liked the idea and setting though. "Zombie waves" is a nice interpretation that reminds me of PvZ. One of my favourites :D
Happy to see a new aspiring Godot dev! :D
Please keep in mind that my feedback is mostly technical stuff. You did great for a first game :D
I love that you already managed to implement so many things in your first game! (I sure as heck didn't T.T)
With all those technical things out of the way:
Very strong first entry! Keep going! We will watch your career with great interest ;)
If you are interested in learning more about Godot I can recommend you a few channels that I used to learn more about the Engine and Game Design in general (or you can check out my games. They are almost all made in Godot ;))
Thanks a lot for playing our game :D
I was really helpful to see someone else play the game!
Regarding the suspicious comments: Most of them were friends of ours that we asked to playtest the game before it was released. So it‘s less botted comments and more supportive friends 😅
(just kidding. It‘s a Bitcoin Miner. All your base are belong to us now!!!) :D
Okay, so I really like this one!
I recently learned fast typing and always search for typing games. So when the random queue hit me with a typing game I was dumbfounded xD
I like a lot about this game, but the best part is probably how everything works together. The sports theme of the text combined with "La Ola" and the wave stopping where you type :D
My feedback would be, that I was missing the whitespaces. I got confused multiple times becauseI lost track of where I was when I had to type a whitespace. It was also a bit difficult that the screen was scrolling and that I had to read while it moved, but at least I didn't get punished for typing the wrong key :)
Sometimes two letters in the same word were hidden and I couldn't guess it from context anymore :(
Also the size of the game didn't increase when I went fullscreen in browser :(
Great game overall and I was enjoying it :D
Hi, so first of thanks a lot for your honest feedback!
I watched your playthrough and your approach on playing the game showed me a lot of things that we should improve upon!
although you did not really play the essential part of the game, your playthrough was still helpful! It showed me that we have to optimize the instructions in the beginning so that the player actually knows what to do xD
Sometimes it's hard to guess how people will perceive your game when you know exactly what you designed what for...
So I am sorry that you had no fun playing the game :(
However, I'm also glad you told us so that we could learn from that!
