Thanks! :)

Good job :)

Thank you so much for your kind words and for the comment!

Thanks for the compliment!

Really awesome concept and the art and music was fantastic! It would be really cool if you added upgrades

Really cool game! The theme of risk is very applicable to this game as it’s a golf game, so I thought that that worked very well. The music I thought was very nice and the levels are designed well enough for it to be challenging (and risky with certain angles) but for it not to be too difficult. This is the first golf game I have seen so pretty unique too out of the jam interpretations. Great job!

The path undo feature didn’t work sometimes, and I had to reload the page. The mechanic of the path was really cool though and I liked the music a lot!

Thanks!

Glad that you and your wife liked it! :)

Very cool especially for a first game! The mechanics were explained very well throughout the game. The idea of having the option to take more risky paths is something that I did as well if you want to check it out!

Very cool game! It was simple enough for me to understand how to play instantly and I love the art!

Cool game! I liked the traps being obstacles!

Very unique and fun concept!

Really awesome art and I loved the grapple mechanic!

You can press “Help” for instructions!

Very glad that you enjoyed it! I tried my best to use my time well but I kind of burned out/ran out of time. If I was to continue development, I would add variations in enemy stats each respawn. The controls have been a common point of criticism; I need to get better at platformer controls lol.

I absolutely love the visuals. the 2.5D art style is beautiful and the animation frames are really smooth. Footsteps are too loud I think but this is a fun portrayal of what bugs are doing when they are hiding from you lol. Great job

I really love the charm that this game has especially the Roomba mechanic. The art is really good with a fun concept! Good job!

I ended up making the jump more powerful if you want to replay it

Thank you! My thought process for those jumps was to play into the idea of risk further by having the player decide if they want to risk the jump. I can see where you are coming from though especially for someone who hasn’t seen the jumps before and don’t know where they are in the level

Great use of the theme and very creative!

yeah, the rolling pins are a bit hard. It was originally even faster on level 1 but yeah it does still take some practice. I wanted it to be cookie dough as well for the main character, but the art was too difficult unfortunately.

Glad you liked it!

Yeah, the font was the best pixel font I had at the time. I will look into alternative pixelated fonts to use for future games!

Thank you! Glad you liked it!

I believe in you!

The movement is super satisfying and I love the voice acting!

hm there is cayote time currently, I thought momentum would make it way too hard. Thanks for the feedback

sorry about that… Do you mean that the movement is too slow or what specifically?

I have removed the animated text on the how to play screen for the next update! Thank you for the feedback!

I have made the background on how to play in version 1.0 brighter to reduce the contrast Thanks for the feedback!

Nice core gameplay loop! Very fun and good mechanics. As has been stated before in the comments, I did think that the enemies were a bit too easy though but overall great job!

Glad you liked it!

I’m happy you were able to enjoy it! Yes, the game does have a bit of a learning curve.

I really liked the art and sound design!

Yay! Glad you liked the game!

Yeah, the jam version I uploaded was a tad bit too difficult. Glad you liked the visuals at least!

Thanks! I may try to make this into a mobile game once I figure out how to do that in Godot lol. The player hitbox is a circle on the sprite so it should be the same size. The restart and the how to play screen being animated was done for presentation but I may just add a toggle to toggle it off like I’ve done for past games.

Yeah, the number 1 piece of feedback I have been getting is that loop entering seems to be inconsistent sometimes. I don’t know why this seemed to be the case code-wise, but I have fixed it in the update I’m releasing after the jam ends!

Thank you for your comment! The how to play text is a valid point that I will consider addressing. The game being too hard (like with the asteroids stopping you after you leave a loop) is something that I realized too late and have addressed in the game’s first update!
