Nice job! I like the see how long you can survive aspect and how you can only have the flashlight or a weapon out at any one time too. Scavenging for food and water takes a while!

Not sure how you can came up with the enemies but they are interesting to say the least lol

Very cool and I love the mood of the interface combined with the pictures of each location. As stated I would like to play this more but text keeps running off the screen and you can't see to type or read once that happens.

Thank you and we are glad that you got to and played the mini games also!

I really wish I had gotten time to make the main world more engaging (enemy AI, items and more map details and structure) so the mini games are definitely the shining piece of our project I would say!

Thanks so much! PV Games makes such great isometric tileset art and tons of it!

We had planned to change the main world controls to mouse only (click to move) or a forward button and mouse turns your character but didn't have time to implement. So yes, as it stands, the movement is a bit weird lol

Cool exploration but it felt like I just kept going down a tunnel with nowhere else to go. The scans were cool but I didn't even know they were fish for a while because I was looking at them from straight overhead for a while lol

I like the dark mood in the game and the fog also that kind of keeps you lost and hunting. It would be nice to have some more story or something because it doesn't feel very wasteland or apocalyptic with what we are given here.

I found all the documents so that was fun. Are they randomly placed? It seems like it.

Very nice art and atmosphere! It would be really nice if we could adjust mouse turn sensitivity somewhere or had keys to turn versus strafe also; turning was very slow.

Pretty cool little micro game progressing through the map, really leaves me wanting more now to see what is in there!

Nice entry and good gameplay! Took me a little while to realize that I simply needed to keep pumping water; at first I thought I needed to turn the pump on to give enough time and space to get to the top of the rooms to get air while I discovered another area, but I was overthinking it.

I like the little loop of radio, generator, pumps that is going on with the story intermixed. Nice job!

Thank you so much for the detailed feedback for us!

You really nailed exactly what we were going for and yes, the world gives off exactly a rural trailer park wasteland vibe because unfortunately my tile pack that I was using did not have any sort of theme park or carnival tile sets! It is all just doom world fall out type tiles.

Thanks so much! I did really like making the maps and isometric movement and shooting and all!

If you get the time, then follow the road up to the second screen and go into/walk over the buildings to try out each of our mini games! It's a big part of the game we made.

Thanks so much for the comment!

If you get more time, just follow the road up and go into the buildings up on the 2nd screen map to play all of our mini games that we made also!

This was a really fun entry! I don't really play idle games, but I like how this one is balanced and created!

I didn't finish it yet, still need to upgrade the beacon two more times, but I don't have time to finish now, so thank you for the save feature!

Nice job! Really like the UI and color theme and layout.

Edit: It doesn't seem that the load feature works, or at least in my instance it did not.

Wow, this is really awesome for such a short time frame!

Were you two really able to make all of these assets and all so quick? It's very well put together and flows so well. I had a very good time playing through what you've created here.

The controls are quite good, aside from it would be very nice if the mouse was locked instead of the pointer being free while you are looking around. Movement and interactions felt very good, even climbing was great!

I very much enjoyed playing through this one.

Nice entry! I love how you switched it up and you have more of a cold/blizzard apocalypse effect versus most other entries. You got max story points for that! lol

This is pretty cool and I like the fighting and exploring a lot but the movement speed really makes the whole game kind of a slog. If only there were a run/spring or something but other than that the environment and mood and warmth mechanic works great!

This game is sweeeet! I always love a good pisser. Controls feel great and gunplay is nice also! Loved the enemies and the pickups while you are exploring around.

I was able to get to the "boss" I'm guessing a couple of times but his tongue or whatever it is got me every time; I couldn't find a way to avoid it and unfortunately it usually got me a few times before I even got into the same room with him.

Such a fun entry!

Who dis?

I tried a few times with two different browsers, but it just seems that the gamma is so low that I can barely tell where I am or where I am going, even while activating the flashlight. Maybe a gamma control would be good or something because I just can hardly navigate anywhere; I'll try another PC when I get home also, maybe something is up with this one.

Very cool atmosphere in this game and the interface is great too! Nice intro and very well put together; I love the whole game loop of traveling and then scavenging, etc.

I may just not be a good scavenger but I could only ever really find the big transistor radio looking things and the hairdryer looking things so I never could actually get enough to trade for anything else.

If I'm missing something obvious here please let me know because I would like to play more.

EDIT: After a tip from one of my teammates, I started finding light bulbs and that was the key! This was a very fun game and I enjoyed it very much! Very polished for such a short jam.

Nice little microgame! I really liked how you scoped and placed everything in the game, it worked very well!

The only real issue that I had was some colliders where I would get stuck, especially at the top of the stairs I just had to restart once because of it.

Nice pacing and atmosphere!

Love the aesthetic here and it may be on purpose, but it would be nice if the parser offered a bit more help with things. I cannot figure out how/where to get the gas mask at even though I read the note and advanced on, etc. Nice entry, especially with the green CRT!

Thanks so much!

This is one I would definitely like to revisit and expand one day. My friend and I are both big fans of Abzu and my friend is a pretty big fan of Subnautica also.

Hey all! Gonna try to do something for this Jam depending on how much time I have for it.

Im a programmer/designer and I am in process of asking my friend that always come up with creative ideas and also likes to do audio (music and sounds) for our projects when time allows.

So I already have a pretty large isometric apocalyptic tileset art collection that I have been sitting on for years now waiting to use and I think I also have quite a few zombie apocolypse style 3d models and textures as well.

I'm really looking to create the levels/areas for the game and can also lay down the base code/do somee programming. Would be very nice to have a lead designer, another programmer, an artist if we want to do anything custom, and possibly audio person if my friend doesnt want to do any audio.

Just reply here or DM me on Discord at raptor0999, whatever and I can work with you on ideas or anything. I think I would prefer doing a 2d isometric but could do a 3d also.

Great entry! The game is pretty good, and the presentation is very nice! I really like the upgrades that you get to pick after each level.

I'm not sure if you end up fighting more than one enemy or not, but when there is only one enemy I would inevitably forget to click to go into battle with them for a while.

Thanks for the comments!

We definitely need to add an in game tutorial to explain things. We just didn't have time to add it before jam submission.

Thanks for letting us know! We definitely have some performance issues to improve in the game.

What sort of device and browser are you using when it is so stuttery?

It was a lot of fun! Try to let me know if you decide to make improvements to it after.

Thanks so much!

All voice credit to uncertainman over at freesound.org for his incredible voice packs!

kruffin did the majority of our base game and code, so shout out to him for making this project happen!

Favorite project name of this jam so far! Very fun game and idea! Love the basic concept and the whole balance of flipping between the orders and actually preparing the noodles!

Definitely needs some tweaks to make it better, but what you have it great! I didn't have one issue with the game once I got going and it was mostly entertaining besides some needed tweaks (randomizing orders more and more difficulty and/or requiring all bowls to be prepared before advancing to next set of orders).

Great job!

Pretty fun game. I forgot what the money at the top left and top right were, but once I figure out to balance home and work it got pretty easy! That one meter moves FAST if you stay at home or work for too long lol

Audio would make this game a lot more engaging and fun. Good job, especially on tying the balance theme in!

Cool game, but progression into different math functions is a bit slow. It would definitely improve with some audio as well. As it is, it is quite well laid out and functional though!

Looks cool but practically non functional. Hope to see a working version to play after the jam is over!

Loved the name instantly! Love the look and feel of the game. Pretty cool that it lets you choose your fate so to speak but I'm very curious why. The upgrades are cool too but not sure how to buy them or maybe I bought them! You should definitely list out the controls at least on the Itch page if not in game.

Nice job!

Fun game! Quite simple, yet complex at the same time!

Definitely need some music and other audio to enhance it. Game Over/Score screen could be improved with a simple background color on it too; when I lose with a black hole on the screen I can't even see my score. Luck is a big part of good score right now too.

Great job!

I see now! I did a screen recording, and I do not know how I missed this but while actually playing the game I did not see the red bullets that the other little flyer things shoot out when they fly across the screen LOL I notice them now that I saw it in the screen recording but they did not even register in my vision while playing beforehand hahaha my bad, sorry about that confusion!

I don't think I understand this game. I don't get what happened at the end, if anything did happen.

I did very much love the visual and audio aesthetic though! The voice acting and art are superb!

Ok, I figured out what is going on! I'm not sure if it is by design or not, but if and when I max out speed for too long without shooting and/or destroying any enemies, my health/energy bar down at the bottom starts going away.

If this is by design maybe you can mention this specifically in the controls/instructions because I was very confused when it happened lol

Kudos for using Godot too btw!

Very fun, very comfy experience! Not sure where you got the idea (you actually told us lol), but I love it! I never thought I would enjoy a game about slicing and weighing things!

Balance is a bit of a stretch here, but the game is so fun and entertaining that I don't care! I'm a little glad you put it on the easier side but it would be nice to have more levels to get more challenging.

Great job!

Very nicely put together visual novel adventure! I'm not usually a big fan of these, especially the decision based ones. I can tell that you put a good bit of time and effort into this though, and I played all the way through once at least haha

How many different endings are there, or are they dynamically generated?

Feels like I'm on the mooon lol
