Hey guys, I finished Jog's 'training' which included getting back the plums from the rat. I've done 2 variations.

- I followed the thief then fought it later on, returned to Jog and taught me the Piercing Blow skill.

- Didn't follow the thief as he asked me not to leave the farm, instead I fought him, returned to jog, due to mc's answer he got emotional and asked to leave him be. Because of that, he didn't teach me the skill.

So I feel confused about the last outcome, I followed his instructions but I didn't get rewarded- the quest is closed as well. So is there something I missed or which one's supposed to be better for Jog? I crush that hyena so much.

Also, if I choose the second outcome, the next day Ole gets sick, on the first, the quest is absent.

But it seems like the writing gradually became better as I progressed into the story.

Alright- I decided to give it a shot. I usually don't like bara mc's, but he has a "weaker" atmosphere around him which is a plus for me, not too masculine.

The design is great, the ui is also nice and comfy, maybe the font size in the storage and status panel is too little, but it's efficient.

My main problems are different though. When in your room, the inventory, storage, journal and probably the map too are overlayed with the choices options of debugging and stuff, so I can accidentally use any of those options while I'm browsing other stuffs which is really bad :/ My other problem is that the dialogues are feeling weird- I thought a lot about it, and I realised it's because of the names are mentioned in almost every sentence.

For an example: 

- Hey Tenki.

- Hi Lothar.

-Whats up?

- Nothing much, Lothar.

- Do you like the beer?

- I need to get used to it, Lothar.

I don't know if it's intentional, but it's really destructive of the structure when you want to make the mc feel closer to other characters. We usually name people only at the moment when they meet up once, once when they leave and in a third person aspect, like:

- Hi Tenki

- Hi.

[Long dialogue without mentioning eachother's name]

- Btw, did you know that Cane won't be attending in the tavern tomorrow?

[Dialogue continues]

And we can use names when we REALLY want to emphasize something or when we change our talking partner in a group.

[Meet up and talking, one of their name's mentioned, like "Hello, Tenki" and "Hi." (We know it's lothar through the dialogue panel showing his name and his sprite on the background)]

- Wow, THAT was a bold move, Tenki! (You see, here, I emphasized his actions which gives more weight to Lothar's expressions. It'sbecause in real life, when we really want to emphasize something towards someone, we use an 'addressing' method which makes the other person HEED your words- using it too frequently makes a conversation to lose its 'functionality' and can lead to confusion of understanding the meant conversational atmosphere. So in short, we use names if we want to grab someone's attention of something.)

Practicing these rules in the execution is crucial for a cohesive conversation, if the conversations and dialogues could be more oraganised, the game would feel more 'Professional' and I could feel closer to the mc.

I hope my insight doesn't discourage you and make you feel bad. I just thought mentioning it because I really think this game looks professional on the outside, but the writing part feels weaker in comparison. I can give 4 - 4.5★ rating for now, but it's really close to something new and unique among the sea of basic visual novels- I really want to give a 5★ rating though. 💖❤️‍🩹

Also, a delete save-file button would be appreciated because I save a lot and it can take up storage place in time ♥︎

(So, to summarise it: Names are mentioned in the middle of conversation only for grabbing your partner's attention of something or when you want to end a subject, it can be also used when you want to change the topic. If the group has only two members. At bigger group which means 3 or more members, names can be used more frequently.)

Btw I liked this vn, my main problem with it was the feral baby dragon erotic scene, I just never could accept it as a fetish and I just felt it morally wrong. If that particular element would be erased then I would absolutely like a continuation. :/

People are kinda unreasonable. As long as AI isn't used strictly for commercial goals- it's totally fine and acceptable. Sure, they do have a patreon, but first and foremost it's presented free. It's just people can't think outside of the box and washing unreasonable things with real problems together. Even if I get hated for my opinion.

I despise using AI for commercial purposes like advertisements or elements in professional movies and shows, but using it for your own project or to get inspired of it, even in your game or your own animation partially is TOTALLY fine. The tool is never the problem, it's the human behind it, anyone can kill with a brick too, afterall.

I remember I played torulf's route and I enabled nsfw mode like a year ago xD Now I checked, but my gallery doesn't have Torulf's nsfw scene, preferences menu doesn't include an option in there and Starting a new game doesn't pop up the choice menu either. I'm not sure what changed, but does Dawn Chorus have another patch for nsfw content?

Hey, I really enjoyed the game, but it feels way too short for the size. I'm playing it on my phone so every mb can count for me, I wonder, is the first beer pong match really is where the game ends? If so, then I think either the images or the music are having a really heavy file size- compressing them could be beneficial because the game can get really big in no time. I mean 700 mb usually works for like 200-500K words if I know well... I think my visual novel back then when I started had like around 50-70K of words with a file size of  156 mb.

It's really important too, because of professional visual novels with even more complex systems and days length of content only weighs like around 4 gb. For example, Nitro chiral's games has really complex and fancy mechanics like in slow damage and the game weighs low compared to that. My phone would be greatful for that too because of the size, I don't think that I would be able to play it in the long run. <3

You are delusional, man. Not in the cute way too. I honestly don't undestand you, like, why is that a problem. I can clearly say that your problem isn't even with the story, nor about the way the game was introduced but it's solely about the fact of AI, in my eyes, it looks like you are trying to find little hunch of invisible "mistakes" to cover your disgust towards "AI". Which doesn't really makes you a so righteous person at the end of the day. But sure, then let's talk about AI the. I do acknowledge the fact that AI can be used in malicious ways, it can disregard artists, and many other stuff. BUT it can be helpful too. AI could NEVER, at least not in this era, replace artists because codes and robots are lacking proper passion and feeling. Sure it can create a smile or painful expression, but it's like how 3D cartoons work. Take Winx as an example. When Winx club decided to use 3D models, it became somewhat empty and fake. When they returned to drawn characters it returned to it's original state and it's true to every cartoon or show. Ai is the same here. You can animate with AI but it will never give you the same vibe people are longing for. So for a moment, stop choking on your blasted hatred and use your common senses more. Everything can be used to either help or hurt. You can decide to kill with a brick or build a house of it, AI is the same.

I didn't even play the game yet and I can tell that it's something special. I have read more than a hundred visual novels from itch.io in the past 5 years and all of them were special in their own way. Whether it used illustration by AI or not, they are special because of a like-wise special soul created them.

Honestly I'm trying to remain silent because I'm affraid that I'm not fully aware of the situation. (yet I still know everything, I just don't know if I understood things properly) So it built up a lot of frustration in me and from the depth of my heart, I totally DESPISE both payment providers, Collective Shout and the developer of No Mercy. Honestly, at this point I don't know which is the worst, Collective Shout or No Mercy? Anyways, I already signed petitions against them as they came across me and I don't think I need to describe just how much flaws are in their decisions, both the 3. As for that developer, they are disgusting. Not necessarily because r*pe is their sex-drive, but because of using their content as a form of UNACCEPTABLE propaganda. As for CS, I DESPISE THEM FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART for being so EXTREMELY blinded and self-righteous hypocrites. Kid drank dad's whiskey because he was an indecent parent, so no adult can drink alcohol anymore sorta stuff. Man, I just feel so much hatred and anger. Yes, my belief is individualistic, but it's in the roots. The way everyone lives. I'm going out to enjoy myself because I CHOSE it. I'm helping others because I WANT it. We are all doing this because of our free will and this path goes back down to the roots of all meanings. This is one part of MY philosophy. Time and space, universe or universes are so VAST and BIG- it can't be just that that "we are all parts of that fabric"- it makes it lose all meaning. It's legit a twisted nihilism  for those who couldn't decide in what they want to believe and just settled with a safe-net around it. The most dangerous thing is to wanting to be safe.

anyways, I'm not complaining, but this one really hurted my beliefs. Not because Dan wants to believe that, but because he has a kind of tone that would love to make others believe that to. I accept it, but despise it at the same time. That belief is robbing us from the sense of "unique". Sure you can be unique in that fabric stuff, but the universe is so much bigger for it to be the only case.

Ugggh, then let's challange it again. I remember back in the day, I was really mad about echo project, like a maniac. It wasn't because I couldn't handle psychological stuff, in fact I can, the problem was that there were a lot of taunting behaviour in that VN. It felt like the author was trying to make the reader extremely furious, teasing us. When you see the possibilities of better outcomes and the characters decide against that without proper reason that one could understand for an example. It didn't even kept us on edge. Everytime they made a decision, it was purposefully taken to the wrong route, making each character dumbing down when the time came. I was really angry at them and because of that, I never read any of their novels again. Felt like a horrible american horror movie, but the worse one. Although from the looks, this one looks ethical in that sense. As long as it's not taunting the reader, it's a good one. I'm just mostly scarex about finding myself in the protagonist.

Literally the only bara VN with bara mc I can enjoy. Wish it could get more updates

I didn't want to say it straight out loud, but we should be happy that we even receive free updates. I'm not telling you that you should settle for the bad because it can be worse, but without a solution you are just cutting the tree beneath yourself. Not to mention that nobody told, nor the creator himself that he will dedicate his life to our entertainment. He can be burnt out too. You don't have to accept it, but at least be a little more considerate. I enjoy the game just as much as you do, but he is one of the creators on itch.io who never goes on a hiatus, he deserves at least a little faith. I'm positive that the bug is fixed in the next patch because the patrons could have told him already about it. I already wrote a message on the dc server, on bluesky and here as well, just be patient.
