Yeah I guess that's the issue. Wasn't able to jump forward properly when very close to the obstacle.

According to the discord discussion , the word "space" here is taken literally rather than implying ' outer space /galaxy' . Any game that includes anything related to 'space', like a game in which 'space'bar key is an important part (like in this game) or a game in which 'space' word is used as an acronym, all is acceptable in this game jam. It's all about how a person interprets the word "space".
