If you still have the file from the old version, you can just import your save to the new version. If not there's not much you can do, only really skip options when you start up a new game.
You just replace the folder I believe.
You must be really lucky to roll a one in two hundred every couple of steps! Anyways, It was a weird issue with the encounter logic I had. So I basically just added a cap for it to not give you a battle for about 15 to 20 steps, then after it would roll the battle chance. Thanks for letting me know about this though, I didn't realize it was that bad ;-;
Thank you, I will definitely take my time with this. I feel like the game is something a lot of people enjoy so I want it to just be the best it can be, and I'd feel like a dick for stopping so yes this a project I will finish. I'll post updates on here though in the time being :3 Currently I did movement and NPC dialogue, next is the paperdoll hud.
I was personally thinking Godot because of the scripting and the visual/node-based scenes but making an engine could work too. I'm honestly pretty new to coding so it may be pretty tough but having whole control over all of the functions and just everything does seem nice. That is one of my many problems with RPGM, it's hard to really have anything that's not already in the engine. I will definitely look into this though, I just think anything is better at this point ;-;
Yep you got me, I was heavily inspired by smt/persona 1 with the talk action, as well as one of the debug skills :) I was probably going to have it do an effect based on the enemy and what you say to them. It'll probably be much simplier than smt but it'll just be a fun option to mess around with.
Also yeah, Im starting to finally feel better, thank you!
I'm trying not to from now on, I think the last couple of updates exhausted me because I was doing them during midterms and I just became overwhelmed with adding content and studying at the same time. I am definitely starting to feel much better now so thank you!
The updates will be slower but I'm planning on making them much better, I wanna start adding more content in updates than just doing weekly features from now if that makes sense.
Yeah, I wanna start releasing good updates so I'm going to take my time and make everything work, then I'll release. I'm not sure when the next update will be but I do have a lot of it done already. I also want to fix up a couple of the unfinished features, mainly player scenes, actions during battle, etc. Stay safe as well and thank you!
I'll try not to, but I think you guys deserve a good update with a lot of content. Version 0.14 was good but I can definitely add some more : )
My personal life has been pretty busy with college, just the homework is a bit much lol. It's not super crazy but it does get in the way with working sometimes, which is why I think I'm getting burnout so easily.
