That was absolutely adorable. Such a sweet little snippet story done so well.

This was so incredibly sweet and fun! I love the progression and the character writing. The arts cute, and the VA does a wonderful job, he's fantastic. Good stuff all around this one!

I haven't laughed this hard playing a VN in a while, what a delight this was! It's so witty, so clever and fun. It's so unique and surprisingly super cute at times too. Just absolutely delightful all the way around. I picked the Jester King ending to start, SO worth it.

This remains to be SO SO GOOD and I have a theory for this chapter BUT I don't know how to hide spoilers on this thing. So:

Between the farmer and the non-human guard, I'm wondering if this is all part of a hidden trial from the spirits. Which would be more innocent a reading, I imagine..but perhaps..there's also something far more sinister afoot too. Hehehe.

REGARDLESS of what happens this story is incredible, and it remains so. What a fantastic update. And AZAD, MY DARLING. So worth the wait and the continued *sort of* wait. There is definitely an inner romantic hiding in there.

CHRISTMAS HAS COME EARLY LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I am so excited for more Carter time ouggughgh he loves his kid so much and (at least my MC) adores him in return and this is going to be amazing. This first chapter's already absolutely baller.

What a meaty update! Thank you for all your hard work! I was Venom Snake from MGSV for Halloween ^^

This is delectable.

I haven't had a chance to play through it just yet but congrats on the redo! It takes a lot of work and energy to rehash like this and dedication. Especially when you're already working on another act. Congrats again! I do follow your Tumblr but I'll be sure to do a proper review here. Though given how good it already was I'm sure it's excellent.

Daww, that's so sweet! Here you are 🩵🩷💙💜

You are absolutely welcome. Thank YOU for all your hard work and the fabulous story and world. I am absolutely NOT ready but I am also very much ready. I know it's going to be amazing, and that I will definitely cry again.

(Heh, I too really love the contrast. It adds such a juicy tragic/dramatic layer to things. Especially since I play my dude with this balance of snarky sweetheart with near unstoppable determination).

Coming back now because I did indeed finish the last chapters and: AAAAAAAAAAA :( :( :(

I'm only on chapter 6 as I write this but I had to say something now because I am going to start invoicing you with an emotional tax for HOW MUCH I KEEP CRYING. I think it's the music, that helps. Good writing+the music=my emotional wreckage state. I say this with complete, utter and total affection. Because this is just. So good. Maybe it's because I'm such a sucker for the style you've got going here. I didn't miss the 'think of scenarios like, Mass Effect, or Dragon Age' from the blurb in Act 1, and being such a huge fan of both of those, which are nice emotional gut punches in the best way ever. Yeah. Anyway. I'm going to end up rambling more if I keep this up, but I also just want to point out the passage that's got me commenting so early.

Because this?

"This pendant isn't just a symbol. It's a promise." You lift your gaze to meet hers. "A promise that I believe in you, even when you can't. And I wouldn't have given it to you if I didn't think you could live up to it." Oh Lavina my darling.

Gorgeous. Exactly the kind of thing that makes me squirm with all the best emotions. I say, through blurry eyes. "I want to be the light indeed" Maybe that's ironic because I've gone on Belicar's route (RIP my MC) but the contrast is sort of nice, in it's own way. (Tragic, yes, but good! Drama is always fun isn't it? Isn't it? XD)

I know 7 and 8 will also make me cry. #Worthit.

Oh that's exciting. I'll definitely be re-reading the updated Act 1.

I came into this very eager because I like the premise a lot, and I knew it was going to be great. And it ABSOLUTELY SLAYS. However, I was *not* expecting to CRY THIS MUCH? I was outright sobbing in several sections. Oh, oh Omar. My darling. My poor poor Omar. And all the characters to be honest. But the pain!? How can you do this to my heart and soul. (Affectionate)

I have a lot of things I can say about this, and I don't know if I can even condense it all into an adequate review, but I'll try. Because *wow* this is. Incredible. Elite. I'll pre-empt that I have my guy on the Mathias romance route, and good or at least, what I assume is high friendship value with the siblings, and pretty much anyone who isn't an active enemy.

The visual design is fabulous. The black and white is dreamy in a way, and each character is just superb. With the excellent writing, I've been playing for hours and feel all the more sucked in with each turn of the page. I love the gentle music, and how it settles in nicely with the story, rather than overpowering it. There's something about this story that is just beautiful, and (at least with the route I'm on) feels so, romantic, but heartbreaking too. I feel both relieved and tense with every *good* moment, because our MC is just a tragic character with low self-esteem, constantly waiting for the other shoe to fall.

But one bit in particular is so stand-out to me, and that's the game, Story. By the time my MC wised up to what was happening, I felt close to tears. They *are* loved and cared about, and no matter how much mistrust and deceit surrounds them, there is hope. It's no shock that they feel the way they do, since their entire position in life was one of 'get lashed in place of another' after being sold into that place, but the way the story turned into a mirror of the MC's life and situation was just brilliant writing. I am going to hold the name Lady Gingerkettlepuff near and dear now.

All of this is to say, this is absolutely show-stopping. One of my favourite VN's to date, if not a top 3. Thank you so much for this fantastic work.

This is SO much fun. I was immediately hooked by the premise (oh that weakness for vampires stays forever strong in me) and I've played through the two released episodes via the early access purchase. It runs great, the premise is exciting and I enjoyed every bit of it. The chat-room style mixed with exploration and conversation is great, and I am curious about the other routes already. Though I like to stick with one route to the end, and do alternative ones on replays. Very excited.

Oh my god this was AMAZING. I had such a great time with this story and I absolutely adore the relationship between Carter and my MC. Plus that lil longing bit with Renard. My MC wants to kiss him so bad. I had the best time with this story and I'm so happy with everything and everyone. Thank you so much for sharing this.

Damn this is fabulous. That UPDATE. Cannot wait to see where this goes-I feel so bad for Wilhelm! There's so much build up and mystery with our MC and some of the unraveling threads are so interesting. It feels like being given appetizers before a main course and I am living for it.

I don't tend to like 'university/college' settings, but I'm so glad I gave this a shot. And that syllabus sent me straight back to my own courses with a vengeance. The accuracy.

Oh absolutely. I plan to stay quite glued to this one!

This is SO so SO GOOD. I was invested from the prologue and hooked completely from there out. Fantastic writing style, world-building that's so rich in such a short period of time, and an energy that I can't wait to continue riding on. Excellent stuff.

This sounds like it's shaping up to be an incredible update! Thank you so much for all your time and hard work. this IF is wonderful.

Ah this is wonderful! And s/o to your lil quiz I got Beck and the blurb made me cry <3.

There's good and then there's good. This is firmly the latter. I truly cannot get over how incredible this is. The setting is top tier, immersive and wonderfully written. Not a single moment slacks or feels wasted. The energy is palpable. like I  could effortlessly pull it off my screen and into reality with no hiccups. The characters are strong, unique and richly intense. Gripping isn't adequate enough, this is stunning work.

There are not enough words for how good this is. I LOVE this story and everything in it. I'm having so much fun and feel so very much on the edge of my seat with the plot.

I cannot begin to stress how much I am enjoying this. I love every single person in this story, and this most recent update (I'm on Azad's romance route-which is absolutely DELIGHTFUL and perfect) is just BEAUTIFUL. The whole story is wonderful, the writing is gorgeous and exquisite, the characters are fantastic and a real delight (I'm pretty sure my Crown is friends with their entire palace, and the Blades, at this point), and the story is so full of anticipation I find myself almost breathless with each page.  This is very quickly becoming one of my top ten IF's to date.

This is quite possibly the only IF that has ever made me cry over a slinky but it did. And I mean that in the best way possible. This whole story is presented so beautifully, with such a haunting presence throughout. I feel so much with each page. By the ending I was crying many happy tears. What a wonderful experience. Thank you, so much, for sharing this.

Ah this is FABULOUS and that chapter has me on EDGE in the best way possible. I love this.

Oh this is deeply engaging and very well written.

Very interested in this and where it's going. Definitely hooked.

May I just say I really appreciate that you shared a link to a collection. I find navigating the IF section here on itch a little tricky myself, and I'm glad this exists.

I absolutely LOVE this. I am so completely hooked on the story. I love the setting the characters, everything. Well written and so much fun.
