This is so cute and smart, I'm actually a little jealous T^T
The ending scene art is so pretty I wish I had merch with it. I also would like to see some inspiration titles in your GDD, because I loved the "find the ending" concept so much and I NEED more games like this hahaha!
I absolutely had to include this in my list of favourite games from this jam, let me know if you'd like me to remove it or change anything. Keep up the great work, your writing rocks!

Well, I'm gonna show off on my Monday to my art director friend with this. Simple, cozy, beautiful and the music player was a nice touch. I think it'd be interesting if we could change the palette too, but this is lovely as it is!
I included it in a small list of my favourite entries from this jam. You can see it here (along with my "masterpieces"), let me know if you'd like me to remove it or change anything!

Incredible, I wish I'd come across this sooner. The humor is top-notch (F ART was hilarious), I wish I can create something like this in the future! I made a small list with my favourite jam entries and included "One Last Job", let me know if you'd like me to remove it or change anything :3

This was... an experience.
I absolutely need more games like this in my life. What a precious gem of a game! A lovely way to combine self reflection with gaming. Proves that less is more and that as long as something is made from humans, for humans, it will strike a chord. Bravo!
P.S. I particularly liked the stones that felt like they had stitches all over them - like they were healing. But ended up going with another one that felt more "me". Is this based on a real custom?
By the way, I included this in my list of favourite games from the jam. Let me know if you'd like me to remove it or change the images. Thanks again for the lovely experience!

Aaah, I see! I'd give it one more go if I could save and return... but still, I had a great time playing.
I made a list with my favourite games from the jam and I couldn't not mention World Break, it was seriously love at first sight. Let me know if you'd like me to remove it or change the images!

Hey congrats again! I made a small post with my favourite games from the jam and I just had to include One Pop Planet as well. You can see it here, let me know if you'd like me to remove it or change the image :D (Now, off to see if I'm still on the leaderboard...)

Beautiful little game, the emotions mechanic is very smart and I like how the game has a deeper theme, but the story gives a cute spin to it. The sound design is great and the characters are adorable - I can see myself spending more hours in a world like this if you decide to polish it some more!
I think the game would benefit from a small tutorial (I still don't know what happiness does other than the double jump, which took me a while to figure out. Smart detail!). Also, it needs some ways to inform their player of their progress or to nudge them in a certain direction (like highlighting the NPCs, letting them know they collected the honey and should head back to Sadness, have finished cleaning the oven etc).
What wasn't clear to me from a narrative point of view, is the story of the NPCs. According to the story, people got polarized to a single emotion... yet their names suggest that the people are the emotions themselves. Maybe this gets clearer later on, but at first it seems like you're telling two different stories.
Finally, this may seem like too much of a nitpick but.. making bees the enemies you kill and stealing their honey might come off the wrong way. I'd consider swapping the bees with actual monsters.
Overall, this is a great first step. Dig deeper and I'm sure you'll find lots of ways to make it impactful and memorable!
Hey, just saw this and immediately loved the concept of a wondering soul I have to help - the art is so pretty too! Problem is, I think some text appears to be broken (I think the fonts are missing) and I needed some sort of tutorial/tips on what to do... As a result, I couldn't play for too long, so the following will be some speculative comments - hope some of them will be useful!
-I can see the start of a great story here. Different souls, their personalities, their goals, what they are running from or towards - a small intro scene could go a long way at hooking players
-Somehow, the soul seems not to be responding to my inputs... it stops and accelerates as it wishes. I think I'm supposed to be hitting the space button to speed it up and slow it down... right? (just retried it, I think I get it now - you activate the ability and have no control over how long it lasts for... good idea to challenge the player, but it did take some time to pick up on it)
-The cover art is beautiful! Made me click instantly :)
-I like that there is a score card at the end, it'd be interesting to show the consequences of failing to guide the soul
Keep it up!
Super cool game! I think I've been playing for around an hour and I've reached the L**, I really wanted to beat it but apparently the game beat me :P I can't figure out what to do, I tried to flip the switches but I expected the disc to bounce against some walls, yet it seems it goes through as if there are no walls? But then it bounces on the other side? I just couldn't figure out the bouncing, maybe I'm not picking up on something because it's kinda late... I see other people figured it out so it's just me. Great one though, one of my favourite jam entries!
Oh god this is so addictive! You already know you did a great job, but I still HAD to find a way to stop playing and leave a comment. I loved the character art, the mix of the genres is unique and has so much potential... maybe there could be a series of IGTAPs set in different worlds in the future? Like this is IGTAP - Voltage version, then others could be set in nature or different planets or mythical forests... What I'm trying to say is, I love it please give us more xD It would also be helpful to have some story background, just enough to know who we're playing as and why... Something to help describe it to others, as in "Oh in this game you play as a volton/creature/something who needs to generate infinite power because..."
Only problem I encounter is that I can't get the wall jump... I can't get the upgrade itself. I keep hitting the button and it's not responding like the others do... I'm playing on Chrome if it makes any difference. I'd love to check back in the future and give it one more shot!
Loved the idea! The closing circle is indeed a nice detail, makes you strive to keep the memory alive... reminded me of "The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" :D
I think it'd be useful to have some score/feedback while collecting the memories, just to know how close I am to beating each mini game. Also, at the end I answered the question and I think that's how the game ends, but I would have liked a small epilogue just to see how my answer affects the story...
I liked the minimal storytelling and how there were no enemies. Maybe small texts to go with the pictures (or small speech bubbles after each memory) would add some more depth. But overall, it's a nice emotional game!
This looks like an excellent foundation for a game! Unfortunately, I got stuck lockpicking and I couldn't figure out how to exit the interface, neither how to unlock the door...
The city is beautiful, and so much <3 for the doggo. The art style is oozing with personality and if it weren't for the limited NPC interactions (I get the time constraints) I'd be so immersed, clicking away at everything and searching around.
I'd love to give it another go, as it looks like it's going to destroy me mentally/emotionally and I love this kind of games. Congrats!
This looks very promising! I think this is a solid base for an "addictive", rewarding game.
I also faced some issues already mentioned by others: I couldn't figure out how to close interfaces, and I thought clicking was how I interact with things until I read the description... I think these tips can easily be mentioned within the game.
Overall, I love the vibes and how you present it. If you polish the beginning a little bit more, I'm sure people will stay glued to this game for hours.
Hello! I don't remember how I came across this but I love the story so far. I interpret the petrification part as what happens when someone loses their will to live and pursue their dreams... stuck in an office job, asking themselves "Do I really want to remain this way?", to finally answer "I want to get out of this damn chair" felt liberating. Hope to see the rest of the story :)
