more time is one of not many stories that winick wrote that makes you feel like he gets jay, just for a moment. the entrance to the batcave is guarded by a clock and can be opened by setting the time to that of the waynes’ death… but here, jay fixing thomas wayne’s watch conveys the same message that him meeting bruce in the crime alley did: hope. overwriting the tragedy. and that is precisely what his character was supposed to be when it was first conceived.
bruce’s life stopped when his parents died. and then jason says: how about more time? more time. more time. again and again and again
Every time I think about how Bruce ended up taller than Khoa as adults I giggle. We all know Bruce is 6'2", and according to this official DC card, Khoa is 6'0".
They were about the same height when they were kids, but in the “reunion in Singapore” panels you can tell Bruce is a bit taller.
Then later, when Khoa goes to Gotham, they’re basically the same height again. So I’m very seriously suspecting that while he was in Gotham, Khoa had 2-inch lifts stuffed into every pair of shoes he wore.
what if talia sent jason to train with khoa
The less in control of the situation Bruce is, the more he pretends to be in control for Clark.
Let it be known to all superbat shippers that “Cowl off.” is a complete sentence.
