Glube Tactics
Play as Glube in this micro tactics game about hats & saving Gu.
Made specially for the 2025 Revival Jam. This is one of my rougher projects as I rushed to the finish line, so beware of bugs 😅
This project is a vague revival of https://jertlemiah.itch.io/into-the-trash . The goal was to create a small tactics style game inspired by Into The Breach. No art, music, sound effects, or code was reused from that original Unity project, everything was redone from the ground up during the jam in Godot 4.5 (except some of the custom hexgrid pathfinding math).
Controls (also check in game settings)
- Move: WASD
- Jump: space
- Rotate world: QE
- Click to confirm action
- Tab: swap character
- 12345: swap ability (if acquired)

Love seein' Glube get out there and havin' some adventures! This was a fun one, I feel like you did a good job pulling from Into the Breach. Love Gu and the hats, too :D
Thanks Kevin! 😃
It wouldn't have been possible without your Glube asset pack :)
It’s neat how the movement got me thinking step by step. Also pretty intuitive. Core idea of knocking lil baby glube outta harm is great. Loved the horns!
I'm glad to hear that!
And lol yeah sometimes the best option is to push baby Glube out of the way 😅
I really like the board. cool stuff.
I also like how the character moves using the mouse and keyboard. Very intuitive and nice feeling.
Thanks, I'm glad you liked it! 😊
I love it! I like the push mechanics, the knights little run, and the music is stellar!
I think there's an issue with the level selection - only parts of the texture are selectable, but that's a minor one.
Overall, great job!
Oh yeah the placeholder text is blocking mouse input 😅 I don't think I'll have a chance to push an update but I'll fix that if I do
And thank you! <3
