reddit makes me laugh occasionally rape mention cw p8 'hope this guy dies or becomes a good character' kills me there are plenty of characters who are abusers who are well written and serve a real purpose to the story like makima from csm or kilgrave from jessica jones as much as i love the series i think this is one of the weakest & laziest parts of araki's writing where he will depict sexual assault as a shorthand for making an evil character and not exploring the trauma that results for it or the systems that allow these ppl to get away w it w maybe the exception of valentine bc the whole part was abt us imperialism/exceptionalism
