Received Kiss of Death within a day or two of ordering so delivery is very efficient. All looks to be in order and in good condition. However a note to anyone buying one of these, it states that it comes in plain packaging so is good as a gift; unfortunately whilst the package is plain, the delivery label does have the company name and game name on it. As my wife picked up the post when it arrived she read it and knew what I'd bought for her birthday present...it became a bit expensive as I had to then find something else for her for her surprise gift.
We haven't played the game itself yet so not sure of the quality of the game play, but we are looking forward to it based on other peoples reviews...4 stars for now just based on the delivery issue.

Delivery was quick and easy to order.
The case was great, the evidence was really good especially with all the hints and tips provided. One really small thing was a number of spelling mistakes but that's it! One example was on the autopsy report, corrosion was 'crosion'.

This was delivered to me promptly and well packaged. Everything explained and well presented. Just need a date with my husband!

We completed A Christmas to Die For and really enjoyed it! Clues are hard enough to keep you on your toes, but not so hard that you end up scratching your head and losing interest.
Very well put together, good quality materials, and a fab mix of the evidence in the pack and online interaction.
Can’t wait to try more of these games!

Fast dispatch and well pkd. We haven't played this yet, as its a gift for my other half, for valentines. However it looks good, and the reviews seem to reflect a good time

Website is easy to use, deals available are stunning, Katie in customer service is a credit to the company - but the products themselves are so immersive, and very well thought through. Hours of fun, I wasn't sure there would be much replayability however I was 100% wrong, and just bought the 3 valentines stories to add to the collection - 10/10!

The order and payment process was very smooth. Excellent communication regarding the whereabouts of my parcel and what to expect.
I’m saving the game until mid February but so far so good!

The whole family really enjoyed being amateur detectives. It really got us thinking. The interactive aspects were a nice touch and gave a real life vibe to the experience. Would certainly recommend.

Enjoyable game. We liked all the pieces of evidence and the access to interactive clues. Although we cracked the case, we would have liked an explanation as to why it wasn’t the other person in the frame. Very clever and well thought out, will be purchasing more :)

Ordered before Christmas in plenty of time. Product never showed as being delivered to royal mail. Contacted to check, order resent but arrived after Christmas- too late. Returned immediately and it arrived back on 31st Dec.said they would refund postage as it was an error at their end. Still waiting - now gone to bank to get my money back. Still waiting for postage refund. In the same email they said it had been refunded - and then said they couldnt refund as I was in dispute!

Thankyou for responding. I have not had any refund - hence my dispute. Perhaps you might enlighten me with what you have refunded?

I placed and order with this company before christmas, I immediately changed my mind and explained why and emailed and asked them to cancel my order. The order hadn't been dispatched.
They did not cancel the order and offered an extra gift for free, I again declined and asked for a refund. They ignored this and sent the parcel out regardless.
I immediately returned the parcel, unopened, (at my own expense!) and asked for a refund. They received the parcel back on 18th December 2025. After being told multiple times that I will be refunded. It is now 29th Jan 2026 and I have still not had a penny back from them!!
Terrible customer service and extremely unprofessional.
Despite them saying i have been refunded, I haven't and have now had to contact my credit card company to get them to pursue for the refund.

Great fun, a fantastic way to spend an evening. The whole case was put together brilliantly with just the right level of difficulty. Highly recommend!

UPDATED 10th Feb '26: Despite the company telling me that they had processed the refund and that it would arrive within 5-7 working days, no refund appeared. I asked the company if they could show me confirmation of refund etc., and they ignored my request. I have opened this as a dispute with my credit card, who have now refunded me. But still, no refund from Cases & Clues.

Look at all the reviews - they speak for themselves. If you keep the product it's a great experience, but if you return for a refund, you will never see that refund unless you open a dispute with your bank. THIS COMPANY LIES ABOUT REFUNDS.

I placed an order in December as a Christmas present - the game in my order confirmation was not the one in my basket, so I placed another order for the correct game and emailed the company to ask for the initial order to be cancelled & refunded. I was told this couldn't happen, but I could have a free case (which I didn't want).

I received both, so gifted the correct one and returned the incorrect order, via recorded delivery. When I submitted my return via their website, the first response was 'Would you like a free case instead?' - This company loves trying to send you a free case. They clearly do not want to have to receive or process refunds!

I had to chase for my refund (even though I could see a confirmation that they had taken receipt of the return a fortnight earlier. My chaser was met with 'Are you able to confirm that your name is written somewhere on the parcel'. After confirming that my name was indeed inside the parcel and that I would've expected a refund after over two weeks of waiting, it seems the refund is finally being processed.

There is nothing professional about the way this company communicates via email, they clearly want to avoid processing refunds, until you really chase them, and seem obsessed with trying to send you free cases instead.

I would avoid - I am sure there are other similar products out there with much more professional customer service and more efficient returns processes.

I received 'Killing in Cold Blood' for my birthday and I loved so many aspects of it, but I just felt that it was deeply flawed. I will start with what I liked about it, as I feel there were a lot of good things!
Pros:
*Lovely packaging
*The documents included are great, and you very much feel like you are reading a real case file
*The inclusion of additional online resources makes the game more immersive
*The hints are easy to access (but more on this in a minute)
Cons:
*Upon opening the envelope, after determining motives and potential suspects, the TOD changes, and hardly any of the suspects now have alibis. We are still supposed to rule them out despite this, which seems like a fatal flaw
*We are expected to rely on the information of Catherine (a classic unreliable narrator) who briefly mentions an affair in her diary, and take it as gospel - it would make more sense if it was corroborated elsewhere, since it simply comes off as jealousy
*An accurate autopsy was held back until opening the envelope - I understand this is part of the game but why would you bother including an autopsy report that was wrong? It would make more sense for the first autopsy to be completely omitted
*After completing the game, we looked through all the hints to see if we had missed anything, and they are poorly written with lots of unnecessary questions marks. They felt like an afterthought
*The included images are AI and quite confusing. I played with my mum and she was trying to determine alibis using the photos, which was impossible since the images were procedurally generated and half of the people didn't even have faces!

Overall, a great idea but poorly executed. I would really love to try Cases and Clues again but I might wait a few years and see if any improvements have been made.
