So as you all know, I’ve been updating my new 13 Reasons Why series quite frequently — like extremely frequently.

I won’t be able to anymore. I am now a full-time employee instead of a part-time employee and I just don’t have the time to write all that much anymore. Especially because series always take longer to write and LAA can sometimes take up to a maximum of two hours to write. Writing it every second day is just too much.

So, I’m going to make Thursday the official day where I update/post LAA (with the excepting of the week given that I’ve already posted twice this week). This will not only give me more free time to relax after work and less stress, it will also give me time to focus on requests which I feel like I’ve been neglecting heavily.

I hope you all understand. There might be weeks where I post two updates, if I have enough free time and there might also be weeks when I post later then usual or not at all. It all just depends on my job and how tired I am.

But I’m going to try to stick to this schedule (with, again, the exception of this week where I won’t be posting anything today).

Thank you all for your cooperation and patience. I’m so happy people seem to be enjoying LAA as much as they are — I appreciate every compliment/ask sent my way, so please, keep them coming!!

Ignoring the slight shiver of your body, your let your eyes wander across the crowd before and around you. Your lips are parted, voice strained as you repeat the mantra alongside your fellow fellow friends. Beside you, Jessica stands tall and proud, the megaphone never failing to make her voice boom across the football field – loud and clear.

You know what you’re doing is causing an uproar, but it doesn’t make you falter whatsoever. When you’d signed up to help Jessica, you knew what you were signing up for, and at this point, it was too late to back down. Even if out of the corner of your eye, you see policeman running at the lot of you, you take some of Jessica’s confidence into your own and square your shoulders.

Briefly, as your eyes scan across the crowd, just wandering, you meet a familiar pair. You falter slightly as you meet Scott’s gaze from afar, catching the expression in his eyes. You can tell, just by looking at him; he’s a little disappointed. This was his big game after all, and you could remember how often he’d talk about it; how nervous he was, etc. It makes you feel just a little bit guilty, but you know your message his important and even he understands that.

But really, all you see is concern. His eyes flicker from the police, to the Hillcrest players, back to you and you realize he wants you to get off the field.

One look at Jessica and you know you can’t.

“Hey!”

Pausing, your brows furrow as your attention is pulled elsewhere. The mantra falls silent on your lips as you meet Jessica’s eyes briefly, before the two of you look past her and find a few Hillcrest boys smirking widely at the both of you.

“Nice ass!”

Lips parting in disbelief, you scoff as Jessica turns to them; “fuck you!”

As you stand there, watching Jessica tell the jocks off, you never notice the jock creeping up behind you. It isn’t until you feel arms suddenly wrap around you, causing you to gasp out in surprise as your breasts are aggressively groped, do you realize that you should’ve been paying more attention. Your hands instantly fly to the jock’s wrists, trying to pull his arms away as you stumble over your feet, hating the sound of his laughter fill your eyes. 

“Get off me!” You bellow, managing to rip his hands away from you, you stumbling backwards in result.

As he laughs loudly, clearly proud of himself, you move to step forward, ready to give him a piece of your mind before a body suddenly rushes past you. The figure grabs the jock before you can, delivering a nice harsh punch across the side of the cheek that causes your lips to part. As your eyes rapidly flicker upwards, you realize it’s Scott.

Even as the jock falls to the floor, Scott doesn’t relent. He moves to straddle the boy, and you’re quick to react, finally snapping out of your stupor and rushing forward. Hands falling on Scott’s arms, you pull him back, pulling him off the jock who’d assaulted you before one of the police do.

“Scott, hey!” 

As you pull him back, your eyes flicker, noticing that now because of you, both football teams are now fighting. You’re quick to pull Scott out of there.

Once Scott snaps out of it and the two of you are far enough on your own, Scott turns to you hastily. His hands cup your cheeks without fault, pulling you close against himself. “Are you okay?” He asks with haste, eyes wide, “when I saw that guy just grab you… I mean, fuck, I–”

“Hey, hey, Scott.” Cutting him off, you grab Scott’s hands that still continue to cup your cheeks, pulling his eyes solely on you. “I’m fine.”

With that he lets out a heavy breath; “yeah?”

You nod without fault. “Yeah.”
