Pennyalghul is so funny, they're still arguing about their grandkids but it's THEIR grandkids now.

The kids all have totally different and valid reactions to Alfred cracking Ra’s.

Bruce is confused because does this make his relationship with Talia weird now. And Alfred promised to leave his slutty old man ways behind after he cracked the husband of Bruce’s meanest teachet after she picked on him in class leading to their very high profile divorce.

Dick gets a new bed, moves out of the apartment and gets therapy because no grandson should see his grandpa like that.

Jason is judgemental at first because Alfred could do better but he’s enjoying the drama of Bruce unravelling.

Tim is disgusted because why are his old men besties even looking at each other like that? He refuses to play Words with Friends with Ra’s anymore.

Cass is happy that Alfred found somebody but Ra’s is creepy as fuck. Why does he keep calling?

Steph is all for the old man yaoi and thinks it’s hilarious that Ra’s is clearly more invested for Alfred who is simply like, “I was bored, what else is there to do in Bludhaven?”

Damian is having a crisis because that’s his grandpapa and grandfather. It’s a betrayal.

No worries at all, Alfred is a mute swan! He’s a very elegant majestic bird but he has the same great capability for violence such as swans so 😌

I don’t draw him in this au very often so I really aught to draw him more

Dick has stepped into the role of Batman more than once so it’s only understandable that he steps into the role of father/guardian for his siblings. And the thing is, he’s serious as a heartattack.

  • Damian calls him one Saturday almost in tears because Bruce refuses to take him to the zoo that has just got a new tiger exhibit. Dick arrives, sunglasses on, cold brew in hand and lectures Bruce about breaking promises to Damian. Bruce is bedridden from an injury but he still takes the lecture.
  • Heading into Gotham Academy with a travel mug and his car keys to “just talk” to the teacher that has been making comments about Duke’s work ethic and yelling at the guy. He’s banned from the Gotham Academy.
  • Dick taking Steph aside after hearing about her jokingly refer to a failed test (she couldn’t study because she was hunting down a drug ring). Dick tells her that she’s smart, she’s got potential but she’s just got to pull her socks up for the next few weeks for those extra credits. Steph doesn’t mind it when it’s Dick doing the lecturing.
  • Tim falling asleep on FaceTime with Dick giving him the rundown on the case or talking about his date with Bernard and Dick listens but the minute Tim rubs an eye or yawns, he’s like “bed, Tim” and of course Tim is like “no, five more minutes”.
  • Dick making sure Cass eats properly when Alfred is not there or dropping her to school or wherever she wants to go. Just Dick driving around, music blasting, shades on and an iced coffee in hand. He’s blasting pop music.
  • Making snacks for Jason after school when he was little or listening to his rants about Bruce and his goons, making big of every assignment he got good marks in. Dick still has Jason’s first A+ assignment on his fridge, he carries around Jason’s drawing of his “family” from his art class.
