What is the fest? This is a prompt based fest for Nortrell fics run by @cosmicscuderia
Timeline:
Prompting opens now and will be open until December 21st, 2025. When prompting closes, the fest opens! Fics are due, at the latest, by February 28th, 2026 and will be posted March 1st, 2026 right before the 2026 season begins!
1. All fics must include Lando/Max F as the main pairing

I wish to show my disdain for tabloid journalism. Yes, it might be fun on occasion and bring us insight and enjoyable rumours, but these papers are written about real human beings. When we, as fans, speculate or have thought’s on a situation that is one thing, even though that can go too far as well. There is however a difference between, for example, me seeing Gianpiero Lambiase crying and thinking “He had a hard season privately and professionally, perhaps he has decided not to continue and wished to go out in glory and is sad and distraught they did not win.” and then realising, that there are real articles being written about exactly that whiteout any foundation. This is just an example that happened this evening, but it is and will still be true going forward.
I wish Gianpiero Lambiase all the best for the future, however he wishes that to look.
Congratulations to Lando Norris. He won a deserved first World Drivers Championship! Even though it got tight in the end, he persisted and won. He showed that you can grow as a person and stay true to yourself at the core while achieving your dreams.
I have decided I stayed silent long enough. Welcome back to my blog.
please let the championship deciding race distract you from the ruling of the legal action by Laura Villars against our beautiful president Mohammed Ben Sulayem. please keep your eyes on the prize (wdc decider Dec 7) and forget about the ruling (set to be released Dec 3). please dont listen to anything about the court case regarding our undemocratic election process and the suspension of our election which was supposed to be on Dec 12 but has been delayed due to the fact nobody on earth is eligible to run against the incumbent candidate due to corruption in the election process. thank you
Hello, I am in unending adoration of the "holy ground verse", and I saw this post where GP spins a RedBull bottle, and looks so freaking good doing it, and my first thought was "Whomever writes that series would love this." So I went on AO3 to find out if you had a tumblr. Your tumblr shows me that you will, indeed, appreciate that video.

Much Love💖
🥹 thank you that’s so lovely ❤️❤️❤️
also yes I am indeed losing my minddddddd over the can flip. like I woke up this morning and immediately watched it again. he’s so insanely hot and I can’t cope with it!!!
so. fucking. hot.
I did too!!! That man is so damn fine!
Your thirst wasn’t known in it’s entirety, but you write that man with such dedication, that any other assumption was unimaginable.
⟡ Chapter 1
⟡ Oscar Piastri x Sainz!Reader
You were supposed to be a good girl, a quiet wife, a family secret. Instead, you ran straight into the arms of the one man they loathe — and he’s not letting you go.
Warnings: religious trauma, toxic family dynamics, arranged marriage, purity culture, and possessive behavior
The plane touches down with a violent lurch, and for a second, you think maybe this is a sign. Divine punishment. God saying, You don’t get to run away from this.
The cabin lights flicker back to life. The baby two rows behind you starts wailing. You don’t move.
You don’t want to move.
You haven’t slept. Not really. A few minutes of strange, jerky rest between turbulence and the flight attendant’s voice offering you orange juice and a dry croissant. You said yes to both. You didn’t touch either.
Now you sit, motionless, seatbelt still buckled even as the line for disembarking crawls past you, dragging their duty-free bags and personal hells behind them.
Your way to bring across the emotions is brilliant. It takes such effort to not just write out what she feels but make us feel it too and show it through actions and thoughts. “The main part” is hilarious. I know what that implies, but Monaco is like… so tiny. That’s one way to get Oscar’s address, and sadly, probably pretty accurate.
I knew where this was going since reading it was an Oscar fic, but it’s still wonderful that she just goes, “This’ll piss Carlos off,” even if those aren’t her direct thoughts. It’s absolutely bonkers, but I love that she does it.
Oscar’s reaction is very humane. I love her rant and that she just spilled everything. It’s good that she phrased the marriage part that way, and Oscars reaction is spot on. Oh yes, pissing Carlos off, as I said.
She is finding her voice, and it will be a long journey, with ups and downs, but it is so good that she has that in mind, the fact that this is not right, that she doesn’t want this, even if she doesn’t know what else she wants.
Let’s all cheer for Oscar. I can just feel the absolute chaos and resignation in his head, and I’m here for it.
Their conversation about faith is good. I’m very excited to see how her beliefs change or her relationship to faith and God and herself too, and I’m excited to see how you express this. It is good to see, that she doesn’t blame the religion in itself, even though it would have been understandable. Blame and shame like this are engrained in the belief, church, and its communities, but she has considered this and finds fault with her family and not faith itself. This is very healthy and the better path. It is also good, because faith itself does not need to be harmful, it is a part of people’s lives and can be helpful or give them purpose. The harmfulness comes from interpretation and the way people perceive it, themselves and each other.
Her not knowing who she is but knowing she isn’t who they wanted her to be, or tried to force her to be, is great. I love reading that. I’m so very excited to be able to read her journey of self-discovery. Oscar’s and her dynamic is realistic, and I cannot wait to see how it changes. There is so much potential there. I also love your characterization of Oscar and how you portrait him. The way he speaks is wonderful.
I did not express my love for your expression of feelings through actions, thoughts, and other cues every time I thought of it, because especially when I read this a second time, which was right after the first, it just wraped around me. One doesn’t really notice it unless you really think of it, because the reading process is simply so easy and comfortable. I will, however, probably say it a lot more during all the chapters of this series. Your writing style and writing are phenomenal, and I love it wholeheartedly. Thank you for this wonderful first chapter.
