may 2026 bring us closer to a Palestine liberated from zionist occupation, and a Democratic Republic of Congo and Sudan free from proxy exploitation. May 2026 see more people gain the courage to make the world a little better than before. May we all remember to tend seeds whose trees we may never sit beneath. Consider donating to/sharing The Sameer Project, or Khartoum Aid Kitchen or Focus Congo. All power to all the people. Happy new year.
I will not forgive anyone who sees this post and does not support me with a single word and ignores me.
I’m writing this with tears in my eyes. I can’t carry this anymore. I am completely exhausted from severe anemia and malnutrition.
All I care about is keeping my family safe. Please help me buy healthy food so my body can keep going.
If you’re planning to eat good soon please think of your neighbors as well. Please help ease Palestinian hunger by donating to Ele Elna Elak (an organization that’s been the most effective in providing clean water n food)
I know for a fact many of you got tired of seeing and circulating donation campaigns from Gaza. But here’s the thing, I talk to Amal almost daily and so many times she feels the need to profusely apologise for basically telling me how bad their situation is. Amal and others like her don’t particularly enjoy being vulnerable on your feeds. But Israel has worked so hard to make their lives unbearable that this is in fact the only option a family like Amal’s has.
All Amal is fundraising for is a tent. A tent. She fully knows this tent won’t keep her safe or warm, but she simply needs a place she can recover after giving birth in the coming days instead of being stranded without shelter. That’s all she’s asking for and that’s why we’re trying to help her reach her target.
When I say donating and sharing is the least you can do, I truly and wholeheartedly mean it. Please do what you can and always remember that no amount is too small when we’re all donating and sharing collectively.
just found out that there is a sudanfunds website! like gazafunds, it is a compilation of funds for people facing genocide
my friends and I are all noticing that it’s getting harder and harder to fundraise for Palestine.
Some grassroots initiatives helping people and families in Gaza:
Relief for Rafah: a Mutual Aid Project
Keep Hope Alive: a Gaza Giving Circle
Isnad: Supporting Students in Gaza
Save the flyer above and post it on your socials. Donations have dropped significantly by 50 percent since the ‘ceasefire’ was announced, but the bombing hasn’t stopped and not enough aid has reached Gazans.
With winter here, the need for comfort is more pressing than ever.
the co-founder of ‘crips for esims for gaza’ and disability advocate, alice wong, has died according to her twitter account.
alice’s disability advocacy naturally led her to palestine solidarity as the quote from the blog post announcing 'crips for esims’ illustrates:
We also recognize that everyone in Gaza is now disabled due to the massive number of deaths, new disabilities, life-threatening illnesses and destruction of medical facilities going on. Such destruction also debilitates the land, water, and air, which will impact Palestinians and all surrounding life for generations to come. We owe our kin in Palestine to throw sand on the gears of genocide with our every breath. [source: the disability visibility project]
since december 2023, crips for esims for gaza has raised well over $3.1M and bought and maintained over 5,000 esims, undoubtedly saving lives.
in the past few days there has been intense winter flooding in gaza. donate to honor alice wong’s memory–to keep people connected, to give disabled people the tools to advocate for themselves, to refuse to let palestine be silenced.

reject the western gaze!
mutual aid means no hierarchy between givers and receivers
a new mutual aid org, Bridge of Solidarity, has been established in the gaza strip by 17 year old poet yazan mohammed in response to the exploitative practices conducted by some charities and encouraged by the existing charity-based model of fundraising for gaza. according to BoS: “the western attention economy and pity economy plays a large role in who lives or dies in gaza.” essentially, people need to make themselves marketable in order to receive lifesaving aid; people who are not marketable die. yazan himself wrote about the damage this can do to one’s self image, which you can read here.
after trying for a year to respect his own privacy, my friend siraj was also pressured into posting images of his son’s emaciated body in order to gain sympathy from westerners.
we cannot keep forcing people to do this anymore.
here’s a declaration of their values from bridge of solidarity’s most recent post:
Our organization is against the Western gaze. We refuse to humiliate people. We refuse to force people to take photos. We refuse to force people to take photos with our flyer or logo. People will receive aid freely without being forced to pose. We will respect people’s privacy completely. Our principles include autonomy, dignity, sovereignty, mutual respect, and mutual aid.
this org will prioritize giving aid to people without phones or social media, who do not speak english, and who do not have outside support or living parents. these are the people who are not palatable to westerners but who deserve to live with as much dignity as everyone else
as of five days ago, BoS are working on a water truck delivery
Bisan says that among all the aid organisations working in North Gaza right now, Ele Elna Elak is one of the most effective, geared towards resolving the water scarcity and making clean water and vegetables available to Gazans.
Donate if you can and share.
October 2025 - Palestinians in Gaza are returning to the ruins of their homes and starting the process of rebuilding after the immense and deliberate destruction of civillian homes and infrastructure by Israel (which, like most things Israel has done since it was founded, is a war crime).
Groups of Palestinians scavenged materials for rebuilding by dismantling the abandoned “aid sites” where American war-profiteers GHF and IDF distributed UN food aid, and killed more than 2000 desperate Palestinian aid seekers.
You can donate to the Gaza municipality [here], to help pay for the reconstruction of critical infrastructure like roads, water and sanitation. [video]
i assume everyone readings this is already skeptical of this “ceasefire” but i wanna emphasize that palestinians are not out of danger and fundraising continues to be just as urgent as it was when the bombing was frequent.
aid for gaza was already extremely limited and inaccessible but this move is going to slow the recovery of gaza’s economy, it’s going to keep prices high and its going to limit who can access aid to whoever has a lot of money. which is why it’s incredibly important that people do not lose interest in supporting gaza.
bridge of solidarity, the anticapitalist, anti racist and pro lgbtq org, is currently fundraising to keep people housed in the upcoming winter.
the sameer project, which manages multiple refugee camps in gaza and provides medical aid, reported that donations decreased by 50% since the ceasefire was announced. this deflation of our movement is part of the purpose of mainstream media surrounding the ceasefire. the sameer project is requesting donations for tents to house people during the rainy season.
connecting humanity is still trying to get people connected to the internet through esims. so is crips for esims for gaza
my friend of over a year, siraj, is trying to travel from deir al balah to his home in the north. i would greatly appreciate it if he got some donations too.
We are drowning in pain, hunger, and terror. Every day pushes us closer to the edge of death and silence. If you share this, you give us a chance to be seen. If you stay silent, we disappear. Please do not let us vanish.
